I agree that he comes off as a bit cringey or awkward. That doesn't mean that he didn't do well though. I think it's important to remember that not all negative comments are bad, as they give you perspective. While OP did a good job opening women in his gym, I don't think he should act like he did everything perfectly, because otherwise he would have no way to improve. The problem with asking us this question is the same problem that men get when they ask women how to be better at picking them up. We probably don't know the answer to this unless we happen to be an expert who has been studying this for some time. I do know that there are some resources out there for females, but I wasn't able to find any after some short googling. A trout might know which lure is shiny or more tempting to bite, but it has no idea how to correctly attach a lure or cast a line.
