Yes yes yes!! My cheating abusive pos excuse of a dad was horrible to me, my brother and my mum growing up. She was unhappy but decided to stay 'for the kids'. It look him giving her an STD and a drunken call from his mistress to wake her up. As much as I love her and I am proud of her for finally leaving, I often wonder what my life would have been like without a physically and mentally abusive dad. For a while I was a pick me, choosing men who would pay any kind of attention to me - defo some …

This one was triggered because I posted a pic of me and my current bf at a wedding - he must have stalked my FB to see it cause we weren't even friends. Regina George? 😂 That's a new one. I know what you mean, sometimes no reply is better but her response was perfect hahah

I did!! What bugged me was the pure nerve he had to type it out let alone send it. I wish I had this sub years ago cause I never would have gone out with him in the first place, but you live and you learn!

Last year I got the nastiest message I've EVER received from an ex of mine it outlined all my flaws and everything I hate about myself (a year after we broke up) it really affected me for a few months after, after he had sent it he blocked me. At the start of the lockdown (almost 6 months to the day) he unblocked me and messaged me again, wishing me the best and telling me that he 'misses me' I was shook. I told him to get lost and never message me again. I'll never understand the thought proces…

If we wanna get technical, only 0.8% of the guys I've been with have ever achieved that. Including my current bf. think it was a mix between a mental block (not feeling 100% comfortable) and them just not knowing what to do lol.

Next girl - Carly Pearce (it's technically country but such a good song, sums up my last 'relationship' with a LVM)

I've only had one experience 'dating' a guy younger than me and it was a disaster. He was 2 years younger than me , seemed so mature at the start but that quickly changed. Long story short I found out (partially via Reddit and partially through my other friend) that him and my best friend (who was living with me after her bf dumped her) were sleeping together behind my back. She was also younger than me, and a year younger than him. Never gone for a younger guy since.

I remember I wanted to celebrate 6 months of being with my ex, we were going to the cinema. I put on a nice dress and got ready, he showed up wearing joggies (sweatpants) and a dirty t-shirt with scabby trainers, I ended up changing into jeans because I felt so shitty walking beside him. Should have dumped him then!!

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
