In general, the advice people listen to the most... is from people they trust. Usually, this means "people we know personally". You're already doing great work by offering to guide your friends toward better information and worldviews. Seriously!! Whether you do ask streams or not, and whether they are "successful" or not (for a given metric of "success"), don't forget that.
