Years ago, a woman wrote a book about her 18 month experiment disguising herself as a man. Let's just say her time undercover was enlightening. I highly recommend it - Self-Made Man

Only through reproduction does a nation have a future. So instead of a military draft for women, is she proposing a reproductive draft? A man's duty is to fight and die for his country. A woman's duty is to breed and die for her country. I would think requiring women 18-25 to register for government mandated breeding farms is, dare I say, wrong. I guess I wouldn't make a very good feminist.

Good question. The answers vary depending on the source but to be fair most are nongendered and just say parent or agent. The actual statute 13-3623.01 says parent or agent and defines a newborn an infant believed to be) less than 30 days old. No gendering there and they may remain anonymous. The state Department of Child Safety (formerly Child Protective Services but they had to rebrand because it was so broken) is also nongendered and anonymous but says 72 hours old. The Safe Baby Haven websit…

You are right that all 3 parties have rights. The child has the right to be properly cared for The woman has the right to bodily autonomy The man has the right to get fucked I just feel some of those rights are less equal than others. I guess it comes down to biology, wombs are sacred and sperm is expendable but our big brains are supposed to make us smarter than that.

Yes, but only one of them gets to make the decisions. In my book, having a baby you can't afford is a poor decision.

I read your linked post and you keep making the same logical fallacy: that both parents have the same rights and responsibilities. A woman doesn't even need to notify a man that she's is carrying his child, let alone need his consent to terminate, abandon or even in some cases give a child up for adoption. Legally the father has the same rights to a child as the mother, but realistically it doesn't work out that way. Some fathers are lucky and get the privilege of spending time and money to get …

the man and the woman are equally responsible Not quite. At any time (including 72 hours after birth in my state) the woman can drop the baby off in a box at the fire station with no repercussions - financial or otherwise. The man is on the hook for 18 years - in some cases doesn't even have to be the biological father.

Men will always be forced to pay child support because the alternative is that the state would have to pay to support the child, which means that taxes would have to go up I know this is radical, but hear me out. We could let women have the agency they say they want so badly to be responsible for their poor decisions. Equality, amiright?

The term mandatory does have a negative connotation. I was thinking to just include paternity along will the other standard tests a newborn gets like Thyroid, Sickle Cell, Cystic Fibrosis, etc.
/r/MGTOW226/06/21 01:08 AM
8

Last I checked, a home test ran under $100 and a lab test ran about $300. Taking economies of scale into account, widespread at-birth testing shouldn't be more than $100. Even if insurance passed that cost onto the consumer, that's only 1% of the cost of the average (no complications) birth. When my daughter was born in 1999, the bill was just over $10k but my copay was only $150. If I had any doubts about paternity, an extra $100 would be a bargain for my piece of mind.

It's OK to be angry, but realize that it is just a phase and it will pass. You will eventually get to a place of indifference. I still notice a pretty girl walk by, but then it's gone. I was a single Dad (still am, but she's technically an adult now) and it was quite a ride. On one hand, I was kind of a unicorn. I was 'the Dad' at school. I worked a compressed night schedule so I was the only Dad that ever volunteered during the week or chaperoned field trips. There were quite a few women that felt the need to give me advice since there's no way I could possibly parent a daughter on my own. I've found that Alton Brown's method is hard to beat. https://www.foodnetwork.com/recipes/alton-brown/pan-seared-rib-eye-recipe-2131274 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mLi3G7RSUS0 A thick cut ribeye is my steak of choice, but I've used this with NY strip too. I do tweak things a little though. I use a locally sourced roasted garlic olive oil and after the oven flip I put a dollop of Kerrygold on the steak for that steakhouse feel.

I agree with her to a point, but for very different reasons. If I had a son, I would offer/encourage a vasectomy as a graduation gift. Her logic is flawed though. A vasectomy cannot prevent a woman from getting pregnant, it can only prevent you from being the donor. Your vasectomy won't do jack shit to prevent Chad/Tyrone/Jody from knocking her up, but it does keep you of the hook.

I loved Walden on paper, but the reality is a bit disappointing. Thoreau makes it sound like he was living all alone in the middle of nowhere. In truth, he was basically camping in Emerson's backyard 1/2 mile from town (Concord) where he went often to visit friends or they would visit him. He also was an in-demand speaker and ran a pencil business along with several odd jobs. Not to shit on his experiment, I found it useful - just keep the facts straight from the fantasy. This is done all the time to fit a narritive. Everybody knows the story of Rosa Parks. What most people don't know was that the original was Claudette Colvin but she wasn't the example they wanted. Some folks think that Rosa was planted there deliberately to get the reaction they wanted but either way, the lighter skinned secretary for the NAACP was a better 'poster child' than a dark little pregnant teenager who was hauled of that same bus in handcuffs 9 months prior.

I love Mustangs & I've always wanted a convertible so a few years ago I said 'Fuck it!" & bought one. She wasn't new, but I paid cash & didn't have to ask anybody's permission. Best of all I did it just for me, although it does boost my Dad-cred with my daughter's friends.

When I got married I wore my late Father's wedding ring. It was a little tight so I ended up getting an inexpensive titanium ring. I later upgraded to carbide. They now live in a box in my closet as "The Ring of Empty Promises" and "The Band of Infinite Sorrows" respectively. I have no desire to wear any of them again. They acted as a form of preselection & garnered a lot of attention but I prefer to fly under the radar these days.

I think there are many factors involved. Let's say for example 50% of men & 20% of women are geared toward STEM. I'm pulling these numbers out of my ass but you get the idea; the pool is already small. Society to a large extent already assigns gender roles. It starts in the crib with pink for girls & blue for boys then moves to dolls versus trucks. Add in Disney & the rest of the media & you know the rest. I'm not advocating gender quotas or any of that bullshit. I would like to see equal opport…

I'm going to go against the grain on this one. While I disagree with discriminatory intentions, she has a point. I too would like to see more women in STEM fields, but the truth of the matter is that not all women belong there. This goes for men too, but statistically even more so for women. I've tried to get my own daughter more interested in tech & whatnot, but it's just not her thing. She's currently leaning towards teaching or something in the medical field so that's at least STEM adjacent. …

Unfortunately for her the only 'proof' available is her own prior deposition where she said she wasn't assaulted or raped. This is a contract dispute disguised as a rape. That's why they're in civil court & not in criminal court. This kind of nonsense is a disservice to real rape victims.

Steppe's spouse is a Grand Prairie police officer, CBSDFW reported. This is the crux of the issue; this was basically 'contempt of cop' once removed. A similar thing happened in Virginia a few years ago. A cop's wife & kid were cutting across a man's property & saw him naked through a window & he was arrested, convicted, but fortunatly aquitted.

Agreed. In a small way it's like the difference between buying a car & leasing. The same could be said about pets. You trade some autonomy (changing the catbox, walking the dog) for companionship. If you want to travel you have to kennel them or find a pet sitter. These choices always pop up in life; give up some free time to work OT for some extra cash or hire a cleaning service so you trade cash for more free time. Fortunately when my daughter was younger I never got the stinkeye, but I was a bit of a novelty. I volunteered in class all the time & chaperoned field trips. I got to be kinda (in)famous as 'the Dad' around school.

Similar story here. On paper we have 50/50 custody but in reality I've been the primary/custodial parent from the start. There was some shared custody in the beginning, but it slowly dwindled over the years as she got remarried & had another kid. The last time my daughter saw her was after Christmas last year and the last time they spoke was when I made her call on her Mom's birthday in June. I'm supposed to get $300 in child support but I don't see a dime. That's OK since I consider that money …

You don't have to ignore them, just don't make them a priority. Women should be secondary (or even better, tertiary) pursuits. Concentrate on you; your education, your career, your hobbies. Not chasing women is not the same as ignoring them. You just have better things to do.

Womens suffrage means the right to vote dumbass Reminds of an episode of the Man Show were they were trying to get people to sign a petition to end women's suffrage. I can't find the clip online, but some high school kids that did something similar here.

I guarantee if this guy took the time to document his sex(less) life he's already got his finances and whatnot on lock. I'm sure he's cataloged everything from fantasy football to his Pokemon cards. This is just how some minds work. I agree with above, probably some engineer type.

Yes those are all good things, but they are just the side effects of being a better you. If chasing women was my only motivation then women's validation would be my only reward. That would make me just another hamster. I do what I do for me & me alone. I have no interest in pleasing anybody else.

I've had several LTRs & was even married for 5 years. Frankly I just got tired of the bullshit & decided to stop playing the game. Same goes for work; I see no point in busting my ass or getting promoted just so I can have more BS to put up with. I've been single and mostly celibate (by choice) for almost a decade. I've fallen off the wagon a few times & am not against the idea, I just don't seek it out. I work full time (often over time) while being a full time single Dad so my limited resource…

I guess I'm more MGTOW than RP, but I like to think the true goal is (or should be) to work on yourself to be the best YOU that you can be. Being uber Alpha and banging hot chicks and spinning plates and whatnot are all secondary (and maybe even tertiary) effects of all that hard work. Reducing yourself to these lesser 'goals' is doing yourself a disservice. You wouldn't base your career goals on a big house and a nice car. Those are just the perks of your real success.

Sometimes I wonder when is it my turn. I've done the right thing all my life. I stayed in school. Focused on college. Took care of my parents. Yet all these do not sound appealing to a man She had her turn in her 20s. I sometimes think its unfair to be a woman. There's more pressure to be pretty, smart AND successful at the same time. All a man needs to do is be smart AND successful. Wrong. The only pressure on women comes from other women.

I always thought Bella was the female of version of Ron Jeremy, a sort of bland and blank meat-beast that pimply face pubescents could project therselves onto and vicariously get their tingles. I read somewhere that this was indeed the case & done deliberately. Bella was essentially an empty vessel to be populated by the hampster reader. Full disclosure - I've only seen the first movie & I thought the best character was Bella's old red truck. I did enjoy the vampire baseball scene. I think that …

Fitzwilliam Darcy. Women go nuts for Pride and Prejudice. They all have a ladyboner for Darcy and they don't even know why. If you've read the book or seen any of the movies, it was probably before you unplugged. Read or watch again through your TRP goggles and see if you have a different point of view. Colin Firth in the 1995 version is probably the goto (much better than the 'updated' version from Bridget Jones) but the guy from the Death Comes to Pemberley mini-series (a sequel of sorts) is p…

My state is different then. If the owner or owner's agent (manager, security guard, whatever) asks you to leave and you refuse, then you are trespassing. I'm not sure how the signs would play into this since you can't prove they saw them, but by OP telling they are on private property yet refusing to leave they are trespassing. I'm more concerned with the false report. Again, in my state: It is unlawful for a person to knowingly make to a law enforcement agency of either this state or a politica…

Better things like cuff & stuff the guy who was actually the only one there legally? The evidence is that while they were trespassing, they called 911 under the false pretense that a 'creeper' who identified himself as the property manager and told them to leave was 'harassing' them. They commited the second crime to cover up the first crime. In my state 3rd degree trespassing (since they didn't enter a structure) is a class 3 misdemeanor (not a 'petty' offense) good for up to 30 days. Of course…

Unfortunately, big F 'Feminism' is just another group that uses a label to elevate themselves while attacking anyone who dares to disagree with them. When I disagree with Obama, I'm, a racist. When I don't support the 'War on SOME Drugs' & the disproportionate number of minorities in prison for drugs & other victimless crimes, I'm a 'libtard' with too much 'white guilt'. When I support the troops, I'm a Neo-Con, warmonger, or sometimes even a fascist. When I support smaller government, I'm a Tea…

I was with her for the first half, but then she went completely off the rails. As a single Father I too had to choose between career & Fatherhood. I switched to the night shift, effectively killing any advancement opportunities. I moved across town to a home on a one-way street on a park in a better school district. This also put me closer to my ex-wife and ex-inlaws (outlaws?) but tripled my mortgage. Shared custody pretty much came to an end, so my outlaws watch my daughter on the nights I wor…

Arizona is very father friendly. I filled out all the forms online & turned them into the Clerk of the Court. Back in 2004 there was a 61 'cooling off' period, mandatory parenting classes, and some other time wasters. Then, after all this waiting, the new laws took effect and just we gave out paperwork to the judge's clerk, she went and got the judges autograph, and we were out of there in less than an hour. Keep in mind we were in agreement so there were no lawyers & everything was spelled out …
