Yeah but the self-awareness changes the spirit of it entirely. It's like someone does something bad, so they turn themselves in and make reparations, and then that gets posted to /r/JusticeServed. And sure, justice was served, but you don't really get to harp about the crime or the criminal anymore.

Garbage sub tbh. An obvious self-deprecating joke that makes fun of entitlement is somehow a "pussypass denied". Sometimes they straight up post completely fictional clips from TV shows. How the hell does this shit get 4900 upvotes? You would be inclined to infer that legitimate cases of excessive female entitlement must be hard to find now, and in the absence of outrage porn, the residents here are now resorting to the equivalent of hentai to get off.

I see, so you want to use the same logic as the people who think faking hate crimes for outrage is justifiable since hate crimes do occur in reality. Edit: If you actually get a justice boner from this kind of crap, I think you're fantastically shallow. So bring on the downvotes, I just feel vindicated. While you're at it, please share this video of black people vandalizing a car with Trump stickers to your Facebook friends so you can all circlejerk about violent thugs in the hood using obviousl…

Yep. The fact that so many people upvoted this leaves me flabbergasted. The difference between this and an actual "pussy pass" being denied is basically the difference between sex and masturbation, but there's somehow an astounding lack of self-awareness about it here.

Statistically, Americans are safer than ever. Of course, being safer doesn't mean safe, but people don't 'feel' safe simply because the standards of safety keep changing. I'm not trying to make a point here, rather I'm raising a question. Will humans ever truly feel safe? As long as there is murder and rape in the world, people will not feel safe. Is there a future in which humans never commit such crimes while also not being effectively lobotomized? Part of being human is making mistakes (and f…

I'm not an MRA myself, and I agree with most of what you said, but I also see why the guy who replied to you reacted the way he did (not that I condone it). This article, which may even be satire for all I know, has a clear bias in favor of the woman, choosing to sympathize exclusively with her pain and leaving the father's emotions completely unacknowledged. Your comment brings 'misogyny' into it, suggesting that this somehow shows a hatred of women. Surely you see how that is bound to get on s…

Pretty sure she said that with good intentions. You can explain why you think she is wrong without the ad-hominems, and maybe that way you could actually convince them to rethink some of their positions. Instead you just gave her an excuse to think of you as trashy and petulant, by insulting and backing her into a corner. And now there's one more person who is going to leave this exchange thinking MRAs are trashy people. Great job.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
