Don't reduce people to statistics. People don't make great decisions 100% of the time. She sounds like an amazing person. It's been 8 years since a teenage mistake. Give it a shot and see how you like her as a person before judging her as how she fits as your idea of a potential wife.

1) No Jamie Oliver. 2) There's no one food channel to help you with everything. Best to pick a recipe, and look for videos that are explicit enough to help you out. 3) Don't overexert yourself. Don't go for anything complicated that needs 2 days of prepping, cooking in several stages then getting an engineering degree to put it all together. You can't go wrong with a good stew. This channel seems pretty good for easy american-italian cooking https://www.youtube.com/@SipandFeast Egg fried rice is…

It's a very big deal that you've realized this. You're gonna be fine :)

Teenage boys have an idiotic pack mentality about them. Their idea of fun is outmatching one another in being edgy. In private some of them likely don't believe any of what they are saying and would be ashamed if any person they respect would hear them talk thay way. In a few years to you'll start meeting men that treat you and other women with respect and admiration. And who aren't keen to make asses of themselves in public for the sake of entertaining the herd.

I think you're overreacting a tad. Just following 4 OF accounts doesn't mean he's active with them. Paying for OF would be something else entirely. Most men use porn as visual aid for masturbation. Addiction or porn sickness needs a bit more involvement then just some follows on instagram. Be direct, ask about his porn habits. Be sure it is "sickness" before taking a drastic decision.

Other compromise: He pays for the restaurant meals, you pay for groceries equalling roughly the same amount, so it's certain to him that you aren't trying to rip him off ex wife style. I like the suggestion of cooking at home more. That $70 bill is too big. And 4 times a week is too often. I would be embarrassed to pay that much even if I was a millionaire, there's just no justification for that kind of money being thrown away for food and drinks. Involve him in the cooking process. Make him wat…

Holy hell that bit about respect really struck a chord. My ex really didn't offer me respect, and it killed my love for her. Now I don't know if I acted in a way that deserved respect, but I definitely wasn't worthy of disrespect. I realised she was constantly testing me. With everything. If you test someone, you are wanting them to win your respect, you don't have much atm. But her tests, none of them did I want to.pass, for they would make me lose respect for myself. Like prodding for my feeli…

My line manager at work (who's now on maternity leave) is a very masculine looking woman. She has a strong jaw, her eyes are close together, deep voice, large hands and feet, tall, about 5'9" I think (about 180 cm). She does her best with make up and fitting clothes. She's 35 with a bit of a belly. She's built like a handball player. At first I found her unattractive, a bit ugly. Uncomfortable to look at. As time went by and I got to know her, I found something very endearing about her. She was …

He doesn't have to align every aspect of their daily routine around yours. Your nagging might be having the opposite effect on him subconciously. He's likely extra stressed knowing that you dislike his behavior, and the extra stress is unlikely to motivate him or help him focus on work during the day. Some people are just night owls. Instead of nagging, attempt to improve his environment to be able to relax more and reward him when he focuses on work. If this is a deal breaker for you... I'm not…

Weight gain, lack of motivation, playing video games for hours until early morning and slow speech and cognition point to depression. Not gonna tell you to stick with him or what to do with your relationship, but I will point out that you might be confusing "beta"-ness with severe depression.

As with all things, it depends. If a man feels the urge to jerk off, and you're not around, or he's too tired to rev up the whole car for just a regular oil change, t's just a visual aid tool. If he's doing it everyday, obsessively, sneaking around finding excuses to do it, and doesn't want you involved, then you can call it cheating. It's not a deal breaker, and it's not the bane of mankind. It's just another easily available nice thing of which too much can turn you into an addict. Propose to …

It's a generalization. And I believe there's other factors that can go into that. I doubt 2 people that have a lot of love for each other, a stable financial situation and good communication skills will allow something so trivial to come between them.

No, making more should not. If he's bothered by it a bit, it's understandable, because that's just what our culture has instilled in men. Explain as best you can that it's not an issue and what you envision as being a suitable income for a family in the future. He shoukd be willing to put in the effort to advance that anyway.

There's a bit of a difference between 100,000 and 999,999. 100k isn't that far off a good median paycheck. Double that, and a lot of decent hard working guys that just aren't in the most well paying fields are gonna be put off. If you mention your salary, they will think in their heads, I gotta make at least double that so she can be a homemaker and I can provide. Depending on how much that is, they're thinking that's gonna take a lot of effort. And is that worth it for someone I don't know yet?…

Hi, I'm a nearly 28 year old guy going through the same kind of phase as you are, believe it or not. My old girl left me and one of the (but probably the biggest) reasons was she doesn't want kids. I spend time on subs like these trying to figure out what type of man I need to be to attract your type of woman, and what type of woman to look for. I guess I don't have that internal scare about not being able to have babies for much longer, but I am freaked about having children late in life. I'd r…

I'd say it's the superior choice. Kids mature you and drive your ambition. You'll want to succeed for them to have a better life. Plus you start having so much free time once they're past baby-sitting age, you'll have no trouble focusing on a career. All successful ladies I know are past 40 and had kids in their early 20's. All successful and very depressed and bitter ladies I know are well past 30 with no prospects for kids yet. I feel sad for how their life will turn out once they hit 40-45, w…

Whoops. I only heard the term used in regards to Australia. Doesn't Canada use "First Nations" people? I'd say aboriginal too if I was in Canada I bet. Less of a condescending mouthful. Unsure. The dudes at the bar may be the wrong choice. They may be too "macho" to accept it. Try other types of gatherings to find men who are more accepting of non-conventional gender roles. Volunteering comes to mind.

That's a great job to have. How big is your local pond, you reckon? You mentioned being aboriginal. I'm guessing you don't live in one of the larger australian cities? Maybe it would help if you moved to where there's a wider variety of people. I'm a guy who wouldn't be off put by a woman electrician. Surely there are others feeling the same.

I don't think the compliment on the other woman is enough to warrant crying over or breaking up on it's own. The reaction after is worrisome, if he started yelling at you though. That's not right.

Review your attitude, brother. The reason extreme feminists are hated is because they have a "versus" mentality. Most women are very caring of many issues. Stay sympathetic to women's issues, we all still have much to do to help in those regards. Mothers, daughters and sisters and wives face harrasment from bad people everyday. There's no reason we can't care about both men and women. And even still, if women are as you say single minded on their own problems, that's still no reason you should b…
