Or maybe because historically, women have been seen as the ones responsible for being pregnant. 🙄 I agree it’s bullshit. Men should have had birth control at the same time.

If we have separation of church and state then no, you can’t refuse to pay for something based on beliefs. Because under that ideology, religion stays out of it.

Exactly. Lol. Anyone can believe what they want so you can’t restrict other people based on YOUR beliefs

Separation of church and state bud. Not everyone is religious. Not everyone has same religion. Not everyone believes the same thing. NO ONE is forcing anyone to use contraceptives and “violate their beliefs.” But everyone deserves the option to use one because not everyone is christian.

I think those should be covered as well !! All contraceptives should. Regardless

Just because it was initially created as a contraceptive doesn’t mean that is the primary use for all women.

Agree. All contraceptives should be covered. But I think the point of the post was that there is debates about defunding planned parenthood (because of Christians) & getting rid of birth control. But no talk of the same for viagra/male contraceptives. Christians are contradictory

That’s because they’re in the early stages of making it. It’s still in testing. They’ve been testing it and it wasn’t effective enough or safe enough. One man killed himself because his emotions were out of whack. They’ve nearly perfected the female birth control. It’s different.

True, but it still helps with other things. A lot of women don’t use birth control primarily as a contraceptive. It helps with menstrual issues, acne, endometriosis, PCOS, and anemia. It is so much more than a contraceptive.

Birth control is basic medical needs as well. It is SO much more than a contraceptive

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
