13	Do you guys ever financially recover? the divorce was $250. The custody trial was $300K after she moved my 10 month old from NC to CA. I lost custody. I went to Calif almost every month for 14 yrs, had him in the summer. I moved to Calif for his last 2 yrs of hs, first yr of college. The kid is 28 yrs old now, doing great. The impact to career was terminal. For all the trips, Frankly I would not hire a guy that was doing this. I filed a custody case, lost, paid both legal bills, flew to calif about 1x/month for 14 yrs, moved to Calif for 3 yrs, flew him to NC in the summers. pretty much cost me most of a $1mm He is 28 now and doing great, we have a great r-ship, talk almost every day.... She tried the same with husband #2 got him for more than me. Then she had 2 colossal strokes at 48 yrs old, permanently living in rehab/assisted living at 60 urs old.
