The second one isn't setting anyone up for a date. Its called Starbucks Pay It Forward. It's a program where Starbucks gets customers to pay for the next person's order. However that doesn't mean you can't do something nice and "pay it forward" which can be viewed as a positive thing. I still thing the program is stupid though.

Well its pretty awful to think that the OP is practicing on a woman who is in a relationship, but it does sound challenging because it soundd harder not to be friendzoned in this instance. Maybe if the OP can be clearer like "she is not committed to her current relationship"' or "she is using me to vent about her boyfriend" Still, if you want someone or something, you should go for it. In the end, the girl will pick the better man (I hope).
