29	Can bullying shape violent fantasies? If you are harmed that deeply and repetitively, you would want them to pay. Anyone would. However, we are taught that our only salvation is to be able to fight back. When something bad happens, there is no support network to pick us up... there is no out to express all the pain and frustration. You just internalize it and, too often, it continues on and on and all people want you to do is go see a therapist and swallow pills, eventually. It was as surprising anyone saw what was going on as much as it was getting savagely attacked in the first place. Always knew things got dicey there when gender came up, but that was over the top. I'm so pissed in retrospect and wish I could have come up with a better response on the spot, but it wouldn't have mattered. Nothing I said would have mattered.
