treating everyone like shit, drove away all his friends, cheating on and physically abusing his girlfriend Either you've never read anything about The Red Pill, or are deliberately ignoring integral parts of Red Pill philosophy. Cheating is not Red Pill. Abuse is not Red Pill. Driving away friends by being an asshole is not Red Pill. Treating people like shit is not Red Pill. Red Pill is, at least partly, being up front about your wants and needs. It's about being true to who you are at a biolog…

We don't care about the work. We don't care about the script. We don't care about who wrote it. We don't care about the genders of authors of a work we don't care about. We use a metaphor from the movie because it accurately represents the message we're trying to convey, of waking up to harsh reality. Why should anything about the authors affect what we use? Haven't you ever heard about works being seperate from their creators?

I never said anything about what he should/shouldn't have done.

It was a joke. You have absolutely nothing to apologize about. I think you handled the situation a lot better than many men today would. You made a statement, and when it was leaked you stood by it. That's worthy of respect in my books.

What I was trying to get at is that I'm not comfortable being abrasive. I've seriously improved in the "I am the main character of my own story" idea, I'm just curious to hear opinions on whether this is enough. Have guys had serious success with women without negging, etc.

To those who haven't warped their identities around games, it's easy to say "A game from time to time is okay!" But to people like you and me, one game is like telling an alcoholic "Just one drink man!". It's not good for us, and will do more harm than good in the long run. Another point is that every hour not spent on games is a potentially productive hour gained. So keep up the fight. I've shelved a 1000$+ computer to focus on myself. You're not alone.

FWIW, he mentions that she was speaking Portuguese, and the quotes are translated to english.

This is the most important thing. Unless she's already really into you, an "I love you" will only kill any potential interest she has for you.

If you're worried about TV affecting her negatively, you can Not let her watch TV, keep her interested in other things like drawing, board games etc. Let her watch old movies. There's quite the treasure trove of RP men and women hidden in 1940's - 1960's movies.

Nah, we've just had issues with people pretending to be stereotypes of either what they think we are or what they think we dislike in an attempt to make us look bad. It's made us a bit jumpy.

I really don't understand this mindset. They pass by thousands upon thousands of men, and when 0.1% of those men are offensive, they cry:"Help! Help! I'm being oppressed!" This is just as bad as assuming all Muslims are terrorists, and it needs to stop. The actions of individuals do not define the group. Certain men are assholes. Certain women are bitches. Doesn't mean we need to generalize EVERYONE by the vocal minority.

If you have a woman who's known for sleeping with lots of guys, and another who has only slept with one, which is the worthier investment? Which will be the more stand-up person? Which will be less likely to screw you over just for a higher SMV guy?

This is EXACTLY what I fought against to learn TRP. It still boggles my mind how wrong this statement is.

Judges throw ridiculous cases out of court all the time. Why was this one the exception if not for the fact that coffee should not be able to give someone third degree burns. Also: male hamster? Really? Stop trying to show how alpha you are.

The coffee was well above just "hot". McDonald's at the time didn't want people getting refills on their coffees, so would make it extremely hot so the customer wouldn't finish the cup until their meal was done.

How did you get the job with your shyness? What quals were they looking for? Is it painful to work as a bartender if you don't have the best social skills?

Just wanted to say: Thank you for approaching such a controversial subreddit with such a humble attitude and open mind. It's really refreshing for someone to be open to other points of views. In my view, TRP, in particular their view on women, is a generalization. It may not hold true for every woman, but if we average all women, almost all will have these traits. Even if they suppress them, they are there. That's just my view on it however. I know a lot of other RedPillers hold a much more extr…
