You trying to draw a parallel between having a medical procedure to drinking/driving and having accidents tells me a lot. This sub celebrating the overturn of roe might just be the last straw for my sub here.

Sure have whatever expectation you want, but how reasonable are those expectations. If OP is a kid in high school, I doubt the girl he's talking to would have had multiple abortions. If he's a 32yr old guy and the idea of his girlfriend having had sex before is throwing him off, thats pretty bad.

You can want circumcision to not be the default, and also NOT celebrate women losing control over their bodies and a year of their lives. You know those are not mutually exclusive right? Just makes people look like a bunch of snowflakes wanting to make roe being overturned about them. You can think women should have control over their bodies and also want circumcision of babies to end, but do not dare compare these things like they're equal. Makes us look really dumb.

The implication of this post (and all these posts celebrating women losing rights) is that having a say if you're circumcised is the same as having a say if you have to carry a fetus to term. There is absolutely no link between circumcision and carrying/delivering a baby.

None of what you said below 'women to not get pregnant' applies because the court has already stated that birth control is next. Men are not oppressed in any way in this society, you need to stop trying to be such a victim. Rights are a game of addition, not subtraction. Because it's not about equality, it's about controlling women. R/mensrights is leaning into blatant misogyny if they seriously go this route that we should celebrate anytime a non-man loses rights. How far does this go? Handmaid's tale? Mensrights and MGTOW would absolutely love that dystopia.

But the only people who view it as killing an unborn 'baby' are religious zealots even though the bible is explicitly pro abortion. So you want to equate a circumcision when you're hours old that you don't remember, to being forced to carry your pregnancy to term even if it means you're going to die, even if it was conceived from rape/incest? You're not thinking critically about this. The way to get more rights is not to try and strip rights away from others, it's a game of addition.

Keep up the good fight man. I have a 2 year old son and I couldn't imagine him being kept from me for any period of time at all. I think some women downsize just how attached guys are to their children and it's disgusting anyone would ever maliciously keep you from seeing your kid.

The wife only had the child 4% of the time, in this case, so my best guess is that 96% of the time the kid has it great. The only difference from this situation and what were used to seeing is which parent has 90%+ custody
