huh? of course anyone can speak that way. it's just words. everyone speaks like the people they were around when they were growing up, more or less but look at the name, the association with black people is why people look down on it. that and classism

I didn't say all black people talk like this. It really depends on who you grew talking to and the present context (do you speak with the same grammar and vocabulary with friends, parents, and at work/class?). I'm sure that kid still speaks "perfect" English at job interviews etc Also this notion that ebonics is some regressive form of Real English is misguided. no lol that guy is a racist long story short, it exists because most black people got here by kidnapping from regions that spoke different languages and were kept at the margins of mainstream US society by law until the 1960's, and for years after that by housing, loan, and employment discrimination

Just adding this on, I lean far left (against tyranny and private property etc), and the people running around being violent and interrupting talks are a minority of the left. The typical leftist is just someone who believes the working class is exploited and would like to take non-violent action to improve this situation.
