LTR is friends with a co-worker who has high SMV. How to handle jealousyHaha in fairness she did say how difficult it is trying to talk to him due to his height. | /r/askMRP | 03/12/19 08:45 AM
LTR is friends with a co-worker who has high SMV. How to handle jealousyHonestly mate, I ask myself the same question lol. But ultimately, I enjoy her company and she adds value at the moment. Fair enough you feel this scenario crosses a boundary, but I just see it as a shit test. Don’t get me wrong, I have boundaries and will walk if she crosses them (spends one on one time with this guy, puts herself in compromising situations etc, sees him outside work etc). Boundary setting is subjective to each individual, and I guess we can agree to disagree on this one. | /r/askTRP | 02/12/19 10:05 PM
LTR is friends with a co-worker who has high SMV. How to handle jealousyYes, if a plate plays these games or shit tests early on, you drop. But you’re comparing plates to LTRs - two very different ballgames. There’s more complexity and nuance in an LTR. A decision to drop an her like you would a plate if she shit tests is a ham fisted approach that doesn’t apply here. Shit tests and small moments of disrespect are an inevitably in LTRs, and it’s your responsibility to respond appropriately and assert control. That’s why we say that LTRs are the red pill on hard mode… | /r/askTRP | 02/12/19 09:52 PM

Is this a right opportunity to set boundaries and inflict dread? (LTR)Sorry I should have been clearer. Option b involved cutting ties with this girl, but utilising the story to inflict dread and boundaries. Edited original comment for clarity | /r/askTRP | 19/11/19 06:51 PM
Main things i took from the red pill.I completely agree with you on being vigilant rather than anxiously on edge. I’ve recently reached the stage in my ltr where I’m hyper aware of all the minute signals and facets the red pill teaches us to look out for. My problem is I get get caught analysing them as they happen, rather than remaining present, which counterintuitively leads me to break frame. I guess this is where mindfulness can help - i.e. observe, but don’t get caught up in your thoughts. Ironically, after I posted my earlier… | /r/TheRedPill | 28/10/19 09:27 PM
Main things i took from the red pill. This is certainly part of the problem. My social life has dipped in the past 6months and I haven’t gamed women in a long time. Recently moved company too. My old team was a very alpha male environment. Lots of heavy nights, funny stories, firing jokes at each other - worked wonders for building frame and channeling masculine dominance. Enabled me to run soft dread on her too by light heartedly recounting moments when I got hit on by random women - she simultaneously loved and hated it. My new te… | /r/TheRedPill | 27/10/19 01:27 PM
Main things i took from the red pill.Point 9 hits home hard for me. I’m currently in a 2 year ltr. For the first year she viewed me as her alpha - listened intently to what I had to say, referred me as her ‘rock’, laughed at all my jokes, accepted my teasing in good faith etc - I could do no wrong. Now she frequently ignores or doesn’t engage with my comments, is scornful and dismissive of my jokes and rolls her eyes condescendingly at my teasing. Clearly I’ve slipped up - broken frame, become too invested, oneitis etc. It’s a remi… | /r/TheRedPill | 27/10/19 12:46 PM
