This is what Lundy Bancroft was talking about in his book. Everyone who subscribes to FDS should definitely read or listen to it. All men benefit from violent men. I really did not like how Reaux used her family’s mental illness to paint everyone with mental illness as over reactionary. Just like it was said in the NEET episode that blaming autism for that man’s actions is offensive so is trying to blame mental illness for your family members erratic behavior. Not everyone with mental illness or even the same exact mental illness will act the same way.

I resent the idea that these women who are beautiful are just incapable of a conversation, or are so brain dumb these men are now miserable. Just say you chose someone who was incompatible personality-wise, but you were the shallow jerk who ruined an innocent woman’s life. Don’t diminish her intelligence and character because you chose someone who you knew was not right for you. I don’t even feel vindicated for these men failing. I think that’s just another way for women to cope with such self-effacing sacrifice that they believe they’re matyrs. I had this complex for so long. You think if you stand up for everyone and take all this abuse that someone will reward you with love and affection, but instead they just use your blind devotion. Libfems feel so self righteous about their eQuAlItY that they’d sooner see government-funded brothels than true female liberation.
