If someone plainly weaker than I tried to fight me, I would not use full force. There are of course different standards when it comes to men fighting, and that is exactly what this sub is about. I'd also point out that I am not arguing for the woman in this clip, merely stating that he shouldn't have gone full throttle on her.

I don't know the events that led up to this, but I would have continued to try to find a peaceful solution as he does in the beginning of the video. Whatever the situation, there is almost always a better way out for all parties than to just hit each other. I fully understand that she instigated the confrontation, I also can't blame him for defending himself.

What started as a shove, ended with her unable to stand (unless she's faking, which I wouldn't rule out) I'd call that escalation.

I completely agree she was being a bitch, and deserved to be put back in her place. However the use of excessive force is very rarely ok, and even more so against someone who can't actually defend themselves.

Idk I would of just restrained her, or use as much force as was necessary. There was no reason the escalate the violence, there rarely is even when evenly matched

Just saying, isn't there an argument that given that he is plainly a lot stronger than she is, the way he responded was way out of kilter? I get that he should be able to defend himself and she's a bitch, but that doesn't warrant a full takedown.
