1	Itching to leave home, but worried that everything’s gonna crumble. Seeking advice Yeah. My dad is collecting aid, but that money isn’t really going towards the house. He has a “project” he’s planning to work on and devoting the money towards that smh. Idk if they’d be willing to downsize. He firmly believes that he profits more being self-employed than working under somebody (which he’s proven otherwise numerous times). Crazy thing is that my dad is a very smart and skilled blue collar dude, so him finding work would be a breeze. He’s just stubborn and lazy. Also, my mom mentioned a convo she and my dad had once. I caught up w/ her on campus later and apologized and she said it’s fine, just “needed some time alone”. Told her I’d meet up w/ her after class.
