The technicalities are not what's important here, it's the principle that matters. It would be unnecessary procedure that serves no point and mutilates the child without its consent. Exactly the same as circumcision. For me, this is a non-issue, I don't live in US where it seems to be an often performed procedure. Jews do it for religious reasons. | 6 | Please don't hunt me down and kill me for asking this, but...No, all the teeth, not just the milk ones. You can have prosthetic teeth to replace them so you can eat. Can be done under sedation so there's no trauma in your memory. Of course removing them would not guarantee lack of dental issues (gums would still be there), just as circumcision does not prevent all the issues you one have with their penis. Would you be happy if your parents said "oh well, I don't want my child to have all those dental issues, let's remove his/her teeth completely just because it may happen"? Brushing requires much more effort than keeping your penis clean too. Anyway, I shower every day and I hope you do too. While showering, I do not pay more attention to my penis than I do to my armpits, I use some water and gel and I'm fine.
