I don't understand what social roles have to do with effective suicide methods. 2	Instead of having "feminism" and "men's rights," why isn't there one civil rights group that works to solve inequalities suffered by both genders? I wasn't attempting to assign blame, just offering a suggestion as to why this happened. I agree that if a feminist place clearly states that they care about men's issues, then they should allow for that kind of discussion. I tried to raise male issues in a feminist space and was accused of "mansplaining" and told that male problems took a back seat to women's issues But what is the point of raising male issues in a "feminist space"? That could be seen as derailing the conversation. I'm not at all saying men's issues are invalid, but in a space that's meant for feminism, men's issues aren't necessarily the relevant topic.
