Explain - dude I’ve seen your post history and you’re in a dark place right now.

Ayy good for you (and I genuinely mean that). I do agree that some guys are SOL but I’d say that those men’s expectations are very far out of line with what they have to offer, which is a large part of why they’re SOL.

You say you’re low in these traits which shows me you have some sense of self awareness, which is already a sign that your social skills are probably better than you think. Have you ever considered that most of the conversations you’ve had with others just weren’t terribly interesting to you? Or is it that you just genuinely prefer solitude instead of being around others? Either way I’m sure there are many women similar to you, it’s just a matter of whether you feel it’s worth it to pursue them

I don’t see bluepilled people saying this either though.

Okay. So I saw this comment and I’m not trying to make fun of you or anything - I don’t think you understood the point of the original comment, which is that men who advise men in your position to “just hire a hooker” usually don’t think women have anything to offer besides sex. If you have a crush on a girl, you can approach her, but you have to have something to offer yourself if you want a shot.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/05/22 07:46 PM

What does this have to do with hiring a prostitute? Do you think the girl you have a crush on only has her pussy to offer and nothing else?

Humans are social animals and it’s been shown that we live much longer when we’re in healthy, loving relationships. No you don’t “need” to date anyone, but as a counter to your question about rushing things: why are you putting it off - are you afraid of rejection or heartbreak? Do you not have any potential partners? No one is saying to get married at 18, but hey if you want to, go for it. Life experiences in dating have helped me a lot, especially in terms of conflict resolution in both my car…

Exactly, men who say things like that basically hate women anyway, they’d never want a relationship because they’d find girlfriends to be “too annoying” or “needy”.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/05/22 05:57 PM

Hiring a hooker is not an end goal for sexless men - it’s palliative care at best. Prostitutes only provide the intimacy they agree to perform within a set timeframe, but most of the sexless men crave an emotional connection and a partner. In that case, those men can benefit from therapy and eventually a matchmaker (preferably a woman) if they really want to throw money at the problem. Objectivity and guidance are their best friends. For the incels/blackpillers, they need a lot of therapy before…

Plenty of people want families of their own, but I think the economics of raising kids is putting a lot of people off doing so. I think a lot of women think this is their “trump card” because the mentality is “well I make enough money to support myself AND the baby so screw you if this doesn’t work out anyway”. Kids also tend to ruin relationships - personally I think having them is miserable even if you have the money, so I’m childfree, as is my gf.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/05/22 04:31 PM
4

Nah I fully expect anyone to be able to support themselves as an adult, and wouldn’t date anyone who couldn’t. My girlfriend is a partner, not a dependent. Many PPD women think they’re somehow better than others because they make more money, which is classism, same thing with PhD ladies on here - idgaf about how much school you’ve gone through, you can still act like an asshole. There’s common decency and a lot of y’all are just as resentful as the incels/blackpillers
/r/PurplePillDebate30/05/22 04:23 PM

Actually no, it’s because of this exact smug ass attitude lol Those women aren’t intimidating, they’re outwardly rude and inwardly, a bundle of insecurities

This sounds like some negging bullshit, but I will say that being a likeable person will take anyone pretty far in life. I would take the attention you get at face value - if you’re getting approached, you’re attractive, doesn’t matter if it’s your face, body, personality or all 3, you’re attractive.

Feel like most of the shit talking PPD women are this mediocre looking, so this has further cemented my beliefs

18 is an adult and I’d say 18-25 are prime years to be dating, especially if you’re in college/grad school, so maybe the ratio of men to women (40% men enrolled vs 60% women) in higher ed has something to do with it.

When men and even hookup culture tell you that you "have to try to lock down a man by having fun early," I’ve literally never heard any men say this to women, ever. If anything, it’s other women who seem to tell women to have their fun and to never settle down unless it’s for the best.

Oh same, I do a fair bit of bragging myself but I’ll also admit the areas in which I’m not perfect. And yes attractive women get approached all the time - this girl saying she only gets “starstruck eyes” but no one hits on her smells like BS.

She also used to be a sex worker and is basically looking to get back into it lol I’m sure she looks okay but yeah, women on here exaggerate just as much as the men - Every PPD woman is a model with a PhD and a high paying career, every PPD man is a software engineer with abs who makes $300k/yr and can fuck 5x a day every day. The rest are incels and fat chicks /s

The answer they won’t give you is “I’m insecure and want attention and validation”, but this is par for the course for people in their early-20s, regardless of gender.

IME women go about it differently, but still do it yes. This is the reason “weekends with the girls” have a reputation - I met multiple bachelorette groups who were actively cheating on their partners when I went to Nashville a couple weeks back. Many women seem to think men are ignorant to more subtle social cues and assume that, as women, they have certain social intuitions men don’t, but we can tell when something is off too. Also remember that women are socialized “approach” men differently,…

I believe you 100% and understand this has been your experience as a straight woman. I’m just saying that attractive people, both men and women, tend to get this type of attention. I think a lot of men are unhappy with how their wives’ bodies change after pregnancy and thus they think they can covertly start an affair while she is occupied with child rearing, but I’d say there are also a lot of women who settle for “safe” partners and then look for something on the side when they’re also bored i…

This is true for attractive people in general - random girls DM me on Instagram in spite of my profile being set to private, my girlfriend’s handle linked in my bio AND me telling them I’m in a relationship as soon as they start to say anything flirtatious. Men have a reputation among women for being horny and lacking morals, and rightfully so, but many women openly admit that they find married/taken men attractive. Because men are forced to approach in abundance Even if you want “easy” sex, I still don’t get why you would approach women you’re not attracted to. Is it really worth it just to say “doesn’t matter, had sex” if you don’t even think she’s good looking?
/r/PurplePillDebate11/05/22 08:36 PM

Actually they wouldn’t, because then men would become attracted to women based on their personalities, as PPD women all claim to have done with their partners.

I’m not saying that PPD men don’t accuse PPD women of lying EVER, I’m saying with regard to this particular post, I don’t see the men in this thread saying “she’s lying”.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/05/22 04:35 PM
8

I don’t usually see PPD men say “she’s lying” - usually they tell other men to keep an abundance mindset and to forget about her because she’s not interested. PPD women usually confirm this because they’ll say “If I like you I’m going to respond” and that a lack of communication means a lack of interest.

I live over in Jersey City but spend a lot of time in NYC, I completely agree with you. We’re in a populated area, lots of commerce in many different industries, good looking people are kind of a dime a dozen in this whole area (not that they’re any less attractive)
/r/PurplePillDebate09/05/22 03:32 PM

Bigger population = bigger chances of there being hot people in said population. I really think this is location based but also sampling bias. Suppose I pass 100 women in a single day, if I see 5 attractive (or even if I see the same 5 attractive women every day - same office, commute, etc) it may seem like I see a lot of attractive women but in reality, it’s really only 5% of the women I saw that day. I would disagree with using his approach to dating per se, and would say instead that you need to continuously seek to improve your own life in any and every way possible. All of our relationships are not permanent, but the longest relationship we have is the one with ourselves. Improving “yourself” in order to get women is not actually “improving yourself” because you are externally motivated by women. Instead, I found that making a great life for myself - getting an education, financial stabil…

I don’t agree with AWALT, and I really only see it from RP on this sub. Women don’t want other women sizing up their partner. Immature teen girls might, but women do not. Again, generalizations about a whole group, and some women on this sub would disagree so you can’t just say “women don’t like this.” I agree that some aspect of that mindset can be immature, I also feel like people who can acknowledge that someone else thinks their partner is hot AND that their partner still wants to be with th…

Spot on my feelings about it as a man - I have a girlfriend now but there was a time in my 20s that I wanted to focus more on my career/education/mental health and could have actually used a healthy mindset for men doing the same. Instead MGTOW gave us a bunch of unhinged neckbeards ranting about “gold diggers” and “whores” and INSISTING they loved their lives and were happy people. Shame because could actually be a good movement without all the misogyny/women-bashing

Women don’t care about how attractive their partner is to other women There’s no distinction here - “most women don’t care”, “some women don’t care, - so while I get that it comes off thick-headed, please be careful with your wording. You see men out in droves saying “not all men” for this exact reason because when you are lazy and say “men do x, y, z”, the men who don’t do whatever behavior you’re describing are going to take offense to being lumped in with the others. If men make blanket state…

I’d actually consider myself a feminist in spite of what a lot of women on this sub would think. The problem is that there are so many different factions and differing views/beliefs across all of them, there is simply no way to agree with them all or have them agree with me. So I’ll disagree and say that fourth wave feminism does fight for and promote gender equality, but unfortunately the loudest of the group come from the aforementioned fringe groups within feminism itself, which tend to be ve…

If you pretended you were in a relationship where you clearly wanted pussy, yes that is deceptive. Which is why i said to not assume any sort of deception on the man’s part, because not every man needs to manipulate his way to sex. “Just like I dont care about women complaining about being used for sex” I’m still waiting for someone to explain to me how those two things are equivalent. Women pursue attractive men who have many romantic options the same way men pursue attractive women with even more options. Muscular men date obese women and like those women’s bodies, and there are women who like a man who is bigger and not extremely toned. It absolutely goes both ways even if its the exception for one overweight person to be partnered with a thin person; these relationships are definitely becoming more common as well. There are people, male, female and non-binary, who all have inflated senses of their level of attractiveness. By your same logic, if a woman doesn’t have a lot of money, she shouldn’t…

Considering more than 40% of Americans are obese, it’s no wonder instances of erectile dysfunction have increased. I think you can understand that some people do not have positive relationships in their lives and are quite lonely, and it’s also possible that those people are decent human beings who treat others with respect but just cannot meet anyone. So while you might call those men “desperate”, again, you’re not even distinguishing between “I’m so fucking lonely I want to die” and “ahh if I don’t get laid I’m gonna die!” because you personally don’t care either way. Lol you wish I cared about your lame ass posts, I just know your MO. You did the same thing last time to try and deter me from responding “my post is blowing up, my fellow feminists need me but my pride can’t stop me from responding to a man I have to prove wrong because of my inferiority complex”. Poor strategy

What I don't understand is that you want to dictate how women should respond (beyond basic legal issues), but you seem to think you're entitled to the interaction at all. I don’t think anyone is entitled to your time or an interaction, but like I said, there’s basic decency and responding appropriately. I get that you may feel the need to be on guard all the time as a safety precaution, I’m just pointing out that there are men who aren’t doing anything wrong per se in approaching, some may not e…

Plenty of people like attention and validation, so while flirting/compliments may be annoying af to you and women like you, it’s not that way for everyone, especially people who usually don’t get that type of attention. Not trying to beat a dead horse but you’re making a lot of blanket statements, and this is kind of exactly what OP is talking about, that decent men will often get treated like shit by women just for approaching, even respectfully. I also understand you can’t know whether or not …

Interesting that you think I’m close minded but that all you took from what I wrote is that this is about being right - this is exact why I mentioned that this is a debate sub because you’re not contributing anything new to the discussion. I simply pointed out a statistic related to the one you brought up, but also pretty clearly acknowledged your pain and experiences several times and you’ve been on a tirade ever since. Seems like you need therapy if this is how you react to such situations.

Oh I’m very open-minded, but you’ve demonstrated that you’re very closed minded yourself, especially in other interactions I’ve had with you. I’d love for some nuance or just something that isn’t “woe is me, women have it soooo hard”. And yet you’ll say that because I simply mentioned that men are also victims of sexual assault that I’m trying to make this the oppression Olympics or that I think men have it so hard, but that’s not it either. It’s an epidemic when compared to the number of men murdered by women for rejection them And just because this crime is perpetrated by some men does not mean all men behave this way. But whatever, you’re set in your ways and not worth the time or effort engaging with. Healing to you ma’am.

I’ve never heard of this either, but I have definitely seen several posts from women who said they were jealous of the attention that other women got from men even though they’re being catcalled and harassed, not that it makes any of that behavior towards women okay.

Lol so hyperbolic, and this is a debate sub - I acknowledged that women are sexually assaulted (several times) and pointed out that men are also, especially as a man who has been on the receiving of that from both men and women multiple times, so you’re actually being quite dismissive, but that’s fine. I get you, I’ve been called a misogynist and an incel on here just as often as all the Redpillers all pile on to call me a betacuck lol And yes location is absolutely a huge factor, I think too many men on here don’t have time/resources to travel around and gain different experiences.

Actually no, that’s not at all what I was going to say. You said you’d have to see it to believe it, I can’t actually show you, per se, just share my experiences. I’m in the NYC/NJ metropolitan area so my experiences can vary widely from wherever you currently live or have dated.

Exactly - it “doesn’t count” unless the women meet his standards, and if she’s 7+/10, then it’s bullshit and it never happened. I wonder if the people on this sub ever go out. I had a tall, good looking British friend in college who had to do even less than me because he was handsome and his accent is an absolute pantysoaker for American women.

Dude I’m not even that good looking and I can remember several times that I’ve literally smiled at an attractive woman from across the bar and she came over to talk to me. So actually, you don’t even have to be the best looking guy in the room. You also seem to severely underestimate how bold/direct/horny drunk women are, and it’s not just “6/10 bar sluts”
/r/PurplePillDebate25/04/22 06:23 PM

Lol I’ve read a few of your comments, literally everything you’ve said is in no way trolling, you just state your arguments/points plainly (although the above comment does come off as trolling). This seems like tone policing and labeling - as soon as someone disagrees with what you’re saying on this sub, you’re labeled RP/incel/Misogynist/ or alternately a beta cuck/BP/white knight etc, depending on which side it comes from.

/r/PurplePillDebate24/04/22 03:51 PM

They’re reactive for sure but also cognitively distorted. So many posts from both groups show exactly how self-sabotaging both ideologies/mindsets are, and the subs themselves have become more of a place for these people to vent than to actually learn anything.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/03/22 01:56 PM
2

I think the safety aspect of it, as you mentioned, is a big part of it. Add to this that a lot of men (myself included) work out and try to get as fit as we possibly can to be more attractive, but it can also be really intimidating to be around someone so much bigger than you that it achieves the opposite affect. Also agree that men look at this from “would I have sex with her or not” whereas women would look at it from a more long term perspective.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/03/22 09:28 PM
1

I guess it’s sort of the connotation that so many women feel the need to say they’re not attracted to us, but I get what you’re saying. I think because women conceptualize attraction differently that men, the answers tend to skew a certain way as well.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/03/22 08:00 PM
2

Appreciate your transparency, I’m also demi. For me personally, I find a lot of women to be physically attractive, but I won’t feel comfortable getting into the sexual side of things until I feel a good emotional connection between us. So while I’d be one of those people that said 20-25%, I’d align more with what you shared past those initial stages of attraction.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/03/22 07:58 PM
2

I get you but this is kind of a pot stirring post for this exact reason - for most women, their attraction is based on a number of factors besides physical qualities. That’s why we hear a lot of women say “he’s good looking he’s just not my type” - if he was good looking and a firefighter, maybe you like that men in uniform, come save me- type; maybe you like a femme boy influencer-type, maybe you want a femme boy firefighter - who knows??? I’m not angry about hypergamy because men do it too - we’re all looking for the hottest, coolest, most compatible partner possible. I can’t own up to my own shallow preferences so I have to demonize men who are shorter than me and fall back on the “men are the biggest threat to women” defense and play the victim again. Statistics proved me wrong but I had to straw man this argument because I can’t admit it Height is a superficial physical characteristic, promiscuity is a behavior that strongly correlated with divorce and infidelity Lol You can’t change your height, but you can change your behavior.

They’re both ridiculous in their own ways, but at least n-count has some logical reasoning as a preference - I’ve already given you the statistics on promiscuity, infidelity and divorce rates lol being “afraid of breaking stereotypes” because your male partner is shorter than you is such a joke, and it actually is shallow because you’re ignoring every other positive trait he might have based on appearance rather than behavior. I like how the statistic is ‘people’ Are women not people? Don’t y’all want equality? If you won’t date a guy who’s shorter than you because you’re “uncomfortable breaking stereotypes” that’s entirely your problem - you don’t have an issue with his height, you have an issue with how you’ll be perceived as a couple, and you’re insecure about having people (probably other women) commenting on his height. His height is out of his control; conversely, the amount of sexual partners one has is largely…

Past behavior is a very clear indication of someone’s character, don’t act like you don’t hold men to the same standards. So hypocritical lmao For people who reported four or fewer lifetime sexual partners, the rate of infidelity in the current marriage dropped to 11%, while for those who had five or more sexual partners the number was nearly double (21%) Please explain how dating a shorter man poses a risk to your relationship’s integrity - is it because you have to “break stereotypes”?

Oh you don’t have to date anyone you don’t want to, but it’s complete bullshit that you’re falling back on “being afraid of breaking stereotypes” as a valid reason to not date short guys lol Just admit that you like taller guys, and it is shallow but at least it’s honest. If we judge person's attractiveness on how often this person is approached/successfully approaches, then by this definition an average man is NOT equal to an average woman, because their objective success ratio is different. The quality of the partner also plays a factor too. Given that 31% of men ages 18-24 aren’t having sex, any man who is able to have a consistently active sex life is more successful than 1/3 of his peers even if he scraping the bottom of the barrel for partners. this makes no logical sense. Might not make sense to you but it’s still happening Dating is a free market game, which means that if women do not find these men their equal, then these mer are NOT their equal. Again, this is my point - plenty of men have done their best to improve yet in spite of your insistence that men can improve their social skills and mentality,…

That’s the problem though - the women who are matched with these men also think those men are beneath them. This is what men actually complain about - not being a neckbeard and expecting to marry a model - offering exactly what women expect in a partner only for those same women to act like they’re still better than you.

Women often say they “know men only want sex”, so standards are really irrelevant here since women are just going to have sex with the men they want anyway, and apparently men are always DTF making for little resistance. The sex feelings (which, again, I have never had for a woman) spur a lot of commitment and so on Sex changes your relationship with a person - even in same sex couples. It’s an extremely intimate act that we only share with people we consent to, and that discrimination alone separates a sexual partner from everyone else in your life no matter how close you are with them. Just because someone is your best friend doesn’t mean living with them would be ideal for you, it likewise doesn’t mean you tw…

I mean go date women if you want, I really don’t care lol but to say that there’s “not much of a stretch” between a close family member/friend and a long term romantic partner is a pretty wild assumption on your part

Sex completely changes the dynamic of any relationship, even when you’re FWB, a hook up etc. I know you hate men but you said it yourself that you’ve never been in a sexual relationship with a woman, so you don’t actually know. Plenty of people show their true colors after they’re comfortable in the relationship and it’s not gender specific.

Men complain about women and relationships (or lack there of) more. On this sub and platform (as in Reddit), yeah I’d probably agree with you; and I understand where women are coming from when they have legitimate complaints about how sexism does still persist as with reproductive rights (or lack thereof) among other issues. Men complain more. Way more. How and about what? Men complain about how annoying women are, but that’s about it - we’re raised to expect nothing but also take responsibility and be providers for women. Women take offense to everything and call it misogyny and sexism. And nobody is winning except for the rich lol If women were truly winning, we wouldn’t still be debating reproductive rights and all the other “oppression” you supposedly face…but even if those issues get resolved y’all will just fi…

Men and women’s sexuality are very different - women are turned on mentally, men are turned on physically. This is exactly why so many women find so few men viscerally attractive, because they need to see how the man interacts with people and conducts himself in order to feel completely attracted and want sex - it always takes time for women to build attraction save for the very narrow sliver of men who fit one particular woman’s archetypal partner. For a man, a woman just has to look good enoug…

I think porn is okay in moderation as long as it’s not hurting your sexual health (erectile dysfunction) or negatively impacting your relationship with your partner (i.e. you’d rather masturbate to porn than have sex with your partner, etc), but I’d say it’s best to avoid it in general, maybe once every so often.

Even if you have a micro penis, you can probably find a woman who likes you for you and with good communication, have a healthy sex life. Is any of that easy? No, and if that’s your situation you do have a steep hill to climb, but we can only play the hand we’re dealt. Might as well do the best you can, and try to have a sense of humor about it.

The issue isn't money, it's looks. If these women were hot, guys wouldn't mind that they also have jobs. Unfortunately I agree. How does this give a false sense of hope when I’ve pretty explicitly advised that one improve their life as a single person without any expectation of being in a romantic relationship? This is exactly why I said to prioritize your career and also to learn to be a good person - because then you’ll actually keep people in your life and build some sort of network. How healthy are those relationships and how long do they last? It sounds to me like you haven’t ever truly met a magnetic person who was not only attractive to women but also respected by the men in the room. Remember that times are changing and performative (“toxic”) masculinity is largely being rejected by both men and women.

My advice is to prioritize your future pursuits/career/goals first and foremost. A common saying is “have 3 hobbies: one that pays you, one that keeps you in shape, and one that you enjoy” - ideally have a career that you like, which also affords you time to do the things you love outside of work. So far as adjusting attitudes: generally speaking, women fear for their safety around men. Approach them knowing that much of their behavior, especially that tough girl “boss bitch” attitude, is a fron…

The two very much mix up - if you aren’t a good person others will see through it at one point or another, and there goes your relationship. Then again, some people will always be offended no matter how polite you are.

You can be confident without being arrogant; I think the way you present yourself can have different effects on different people. This depends on 1) your audience and what they consider to be confident vs arrogant and 2) whether they are men or other women. I realize that is sexist but it is absolutely a double standard women face. Sometimes reading text can come off a lot more arrogant to the reader than is actually intended, and I think aligning yourself with FDS is automatically going to put …

Subjective and that’s monogamy, not chastity. Talk about non-arguments lol If someone is married for 10 years, then widowed and they remarry after their spouse dies, that person is promiscuous?
/r/PurplePillDebate06/01/22 11:19 AM
3

And so why is that significant? I don’t see any difference between 1 and 2 partners, you’re not a virgin anymore so it doesn’t even matter by religious standards.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/01/22 01:37 AM
2

So what about having 2 partners makes a person promiscuous?
/r/PurplePillDebate06/01/22 01:03 AM

I already answered that several times, your inability to count or comprehend is on you. You haven’t refuted any of my arguments nor have you made any of your own. If you don’t see a difference, how many people does a person have to have been with for you to consider them promiscuous?
/r/PurplePillDebate06/01/22 12:17 AM
1

“I don’t see the difference” is just ignorance - how is there no difference? One is clearly much larger than the other. You haven’t articulated a single point so you’re not convincing me there isn’t a difference, anyone who can count knows the difference between 5 and 20, which I told you was 15. So again you’ve made no argument and just want me to jump through a hoop for you. Keep trying
/r/PurplePillDebate05/01/22 11:15 PM
1

Oh she big mad now lol “I don’t have to explain it” means you have no reason or you’re too afraid to share your reasoning because you know I’ll respond to each point. So you’re the one making the non argument, you have literally no argument at all, and your inability to see a difference doesn’t negate the difference existing.

It’s very smug - the question was “At what number of sexual partners would you consider somebody ‘promiscuous’?” If you can’t understand the difference between 5 and 20, especially in the context of the question, maybe retake math and reread the post. Someone who’s has only 5 partners by age 40 has had less than 1 sexual partner per year, while a person the same age who’s had 20 partners could have slept with 1 new partner each year for the past 20 years. There’s a world of difference between th…

You’re genuinely wrong. At the very least, you recognize one number (20) is significantly higher than the other (5), so yes, there is a difference regardless of how large that differential seems to you. Just because you “don’t care” about someone’s n-count doesn’t mean you can’t recognize promiscuous behavior or what an excessive amount of sexual partners is, even by your own subjectivity. Maybe in your case it’d have to be hyperbolic and someone will have had to have slept with hundreds of peop…

Its subjective dude. That means if it matters to you, if doesn't have to matter to me. maiden has always meant virgin, Maiden is derived from the Proto-Indo-European root “maghu” which just meant “young person” of either sex. unmarried meant virgin People have been having sex out of wedlock for all of human history, so this means many “virgins” have had sex but never married.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/01/22 05:23 PM
2

The word 'virgin' derives from a Latin root (virginem, nominative virgo) meaning "maiden, unwedded girl or woman", somewhat equivalent to "young lady" as an alternative to "puella" meaning "girl". The meaning of "young woman in a state of inviolate chastity" is recorded from c. 1300.

Lol I feel the same way about you. There’s no difference between someone who’s only had 5 sexual partners and someone who’s had 20 sexual partners? That is such nonsense lol And this does come off as gaslighting - you’re trying to deny reality in an attempt to have me question the very definition of “promiscuity”. Maybe in terms of a person’s ability to do their job, manage their life and finances, etc, the number of sex partners you’ve had “doesn’t matter”, but in dating/relationships it absolu…
/r/PurplePillDebate05/01/22 04:41 PM

Exactly! If you’ve had 20 different partners by age 20? Yes, that is promiscuous. But if You had 20 sexual partners by age 30? Even if you didn’t lose your virginity until you were 20 years old, that’s ~2 new partners per year. Now if 5 of those partners were in one night/weekend, there may be an argument to be made, but that’s usually not the case.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/01/22 04:39 PM
5

Actually there are about 15 partners’ worth of difference, and at least 15 different life experiences (via being sexually intimate with another person) between those two people. You can’t tell me that someone who has had sex with only 5 people is no different than someone who’s slept with 20, that’s literally absurd lol This comment just comes off as gaslighting or a cope to deal with dissatisfaction with the number of partners one has had. Promiscuity does say a lot about people - there are hea…

there isnt and there never has been, its always been binary--virgin, ot virgin. “Virgin” originally meant a woman who had never been married. “Promiscuous” by definition is is used to describe someone who has many transient sexual relationships, or can be used to describe an in selective or indiscriminating approach (such as one’s sexual partners). Having sex with one person no longer makes you a virgin, but hardly makes you promiscuous, even if the decision to have sex was made hastily. Repetit…
/r/PurplePillDebate05/01/22 04:25 PM

Exactly - how the person carries themself is more indicative of promiscuity, because even someone who has had very few partners can still be constantly seeking sex - they’ve simply been unsuccessful in finding multiple people who wants to sleep with them. Just because someone hasn’t had a lot of partners doesn’t mean they aren’t promiscuous, would always remain faithful in a relationship, etc.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/01/22 03:48 PM
6

I think the person’s age factors in - supposing that woman were 25 and had sex for the first time when she was 18, that’s less than 2 partners per year, which I’d hardly consider to be promiscuous myself. Then again, she could have racked up 4 partners in a wild weekend out, would that make her more promiscuous even if she had the same total amount of partners? Well I’d say that depends on the pattern of that persons behavior - if it happened only once and they regretted it and never repeated th…

the idea that theres some difference between 5 and 10 or 20 is just bizarre to me By your logic, there wouldn’t be any difference between some who slept with 5 people and someone who slept with 20. I’d hardly consider someone who’s slept with 5 people to be promiscuous, as the average number of partners for American men and women is ~7.5, so that’s even below average, but likewise 10 is above average and could by definition be considered promiscuous. The number of partners one has had is persona…

How so? Women not being in agreement about what constitutes “a physically attractive man” means that men are constantly chasing a moving target. The hourglass “slim thicc” look on women may be the most universally appealing, but women like Ashley Graham still have millions of followers; the same cannot be said of any male celebrities as men are NEVER the object of desire. Thus the threshold for women being physically attractive to heterosexual men is much wider than the inverse.

Again, we’re in a pandemic and OLD has been the predominant form of dating for most people anyway. But yes, some women do still approach men, in public, in person, even if you and your friends don’t lol I’ve been approached in person several times this year and have gotten DMed by random women on IG, I see other women approach friends of mine all the time.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/12/21 09:23 PM

Again, women also approach men in person. Less frequently than men approach women, yes but it’s still happening and will continue to happen. Online dating is more popular than ever due to COVID, but still, women approach men too. And I already moved past online messaging, the Bible and any other superfluous nonsense your brought up Women who send DMs don’t approach men in person What? “Shoot your shot” means you’re approaching someone you think will reject you, doesn’t matter how you do it: online, in person lol some women approach men, regardless of gender roles, religion or whatever other conflating factors you want to bring up lol DMing someone and expressing interest, “shooting your shot” - it’s all approaching someone for romantic/sexual interest, and women physically approach men in person as well. You’re wrong
/r/PurplePillDebate27/12/21 06:37 PM

DM’ing someone is not an “approach”. If you’re not walking up to someone in person that’s not an approach. It is shooting your shot. “shooting your shot” is approaching someone, you’re just moving the goalpost and trying to use semantics now because you’re wrong and even admitted as such lol Some women approach men, has nothing to do with gender roles and way more to do with the individuals and the circumstances, get over it
/r/PurplePillDebate27/12/21 06:24 PM

Christianity has been on the decline for 30+ years and church membership is lower than its ever been. Women DMing men is still women approaching men, and yes, women do approach men in public too. COVID has decimated a lot of industries like bars and clubs over the past 2 years which will highly restrict face to face social interaction.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/12/21 05:50 PM

And before written word or religions, biology/evolution dictated those gender roles. And regardless of those cultural differences or your own personal biases, modern women are already approaching men (and women and non-binary people depending on their individual sexual preferences). Millennials and gen z are far less religious than other generations, so those that aren’t religious don’t care about what the Bible or any other religious text says about gender roles or sexuality.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/12/21 05:14 PM

Gender roles are culture specific and the Bible isn’t the oldest religious text so whether you’re being sarcastic or not, you’re still wrong either way.

Biology and evolution preceded religion, and if all religious texts disappeared today, in 1000 years biology/science would remain constant and follow fixed patterns and systems as they have, but people like you would have a new deity to fixate on and use to support your agendas. I don't owe anyone commitment and live in a time when a man can have any damn thing he wants without commitment (and all of the worst parts when committing) Yes but if you, like many men on here, are unsatisfied with your romantic life because you can’t find the type of partner you want, you really can’t have “any damn thing” you like. Do you just swear off them altogether because you can’t trust what a woman tells you about her past experiences?

Hell, you women KNOW we judge you on this. I am a 32 year old man lol And for sure, you get to have your own preferences, I’m just saying that it makes sense because women are damned if they do, damned if they don’t in this area. Plenty of double standards that negatively affect men too, but the Madonna/whore complex is one that negatively affects women and men too. Don’t you see how this creates a chicken-or-the-egg scenario though? Women are judged for having past sexual partners, no matter how few, even the women who only had one sexual partner their entire life, and they are either prudes or whores. Because so many men react poorly to information about their past, many women tend to lie about previous partners in fear of judgment. Then when these same women are honest with men they feel they can ultimately trust, and those men still slut-shame them, the…

The notion that Gen Z is more sexually conservative is completely wrong - the most extreme views, the ones that rise to the top of TikTok/Twitter/Tumblr/Reddit get the most engagement and attention. The issues I take with FDS are that it teaches women to be classist (“My bag is worth more than your car”, referring to people as “peasants”, meanwhile some of the most essential job pay dogshit), racist (use of “pickmeisha”, I’ve seen a lot of them fetishize black men), and that’s not even getting into the rampant transphobia and their obsession with porn induced erectile dysfunction/demonization of sex workers. Moreover, I’ve seen how clique-y that sub can be and how they all dogpile on anyone…

I live in an extremely progressive area and have a lot of feminist/ far left leaning friends who are women. Absolutely none of them behave the way women on this sub and FDS do - not even the content they share to social media is even close to being as contrarian and adversarial towards men. I understand that many women feel the need to “vent” about their experiences with men, but it seems that online and especially on Reddit, women’s solidarity centers on insulting men.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/11/21 05:08 PM

I wonder the same thing, although I’d suspect it’s because the sub tries to make itself look like a dating advice sub. They know men look at the sub, especially the men who hate FDS, so they purposely post the most insulting content possible. Right but your study is from 2009; also, while women can’t agree on which men are attractive, evidence from the study I linked (which is from 2018) shows that women changed from their initial rating to mirror the social rating (how their peers rated) the attractiveness of men’s faces. So while women may not be in total agreement on who is attractive, they are influenced by social dynamics from other women when it comes to which men they find attractive.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/11/21 10:37 PM

And you’re getting it backwards. Are women attracted to him because other women are or are women attracted to him because he has traits that the majority of women find attractive? You’re confusing the two. Science actually says otherwise.

They were more useful in the past when survival was a day to day challenge Even in the past these traits’ utility had their limitations - socialization and language weren’t nearly as advanced in the time period you’re describing, so much of their appeal wouldn’t have even be applicable then. Also, it would be far more useful to have someone who could avoid conflict and instead gain the support of others to grow your tribe, rather than someone who tries to protect through intimidation and aggress…

I’ve addressed this in another comment - Are these actually useful traits to have? Being “tough” does not require one to be cold or stoical at all times and therefore won’t always be useful, even if you want to go the hyper-masculine/evolutionary psychology route and say that men needed to be ruthless killers to protect their tribe, a lack of empathy doesn’t make you a good leader and stoicism doesn’t make you some brilliant strategist, especially if you have to know how to prioritize the needs …

Wrong. So many WOMEN consider the traits I mentioned to be desirable in men. That's why men try to be tough and stoic. It's due to wanting to fulfill the expectations/desires that women place. So are these traits a strength because some women think they’re attractive, or because they’re actually useful traits to have? Being “tough” does not require one to be cold or stoical at all times and therefore won’t always be useful, even if you want to go the hyper-masculine/evolutionary psychology route…

The type of people who seek out huge age gaps are defective and generally incapable of functional and healthy relationships due to their personality traits. They don't make good long-term partners, and that's generally why they're single at much older ages. No one is pushing for age gap relationships between two legal adults to be criminalized. You are right, but feminists really seem to hate it when older men date younger women, and make a lot of assumptions about both people - that the man is a predator who is grooming the younger woman, that the women dating these men have internalized misogyny or are victims of systemic sexism such that they need to date a man they don’t want to be with in order to have financial security. This is insanely true, and largely why I avoid even trying to debate people on this sub anymore. It's more about being honest in a relationship really. No fucking around, being hot and cold, Why are all the strategies about how to manipulate men then? No? Have a good day. I doubt I’d ever hear those words from anyone on FDS lol There is such overt man-bashing on that sub, and while I do get the need to vent about how much dating sucks, I can’t support hating on and dehumanizing the group of people you’re trying to start a relationship with - it’s literally what TRP does and they suck too lo…

Because I used to date abusive men and I don’t. Read a book about abuse and the toll it takes on your cognitive health. It’s not a joke. I’m very sorry this happened to you. I have an undergraduate in research psychology and have actually read quite a lot about abuse and it’s effect on cognitive health, so it is not a joke to me. I also apologize if anything in my previous comments seemed to disregard this or minimize the extent of your experience. Just because I disagree with you on something d…

What about this from the FDS blog and that’s directly available on the About page: Keep your options open, always. Instead of women desperately pursuing a relationship with a single male, you maintain several which are beneficial to you in different ways. Although, at this stage, you shouldn’t allow sexual access. Go on dates where you’re likely to encounter a lot of male mate competion. Sporting events are at the top of the list, but this can be any event or activity where men are likely to b…

I’m physically fit, look after my aesthetics, have an engineering degree, and work a pretty cool job. I have dreams, goals, and hobbies I am passionate about. Good for you - did you need FDS to accomplish any of that though? I understand the sub’s proclivity for encouraging women to put dating second to a career and lifestyle that is best for them, but that makes up such a tiny portion of the types of posts on that sub. Despite it all, I’m sure nothing about me would be desirable to you, and tha…

I have nothing to offer men who don’t see me as valuable We all can’t help who is attracted to us, my question this whole time has been: how does FDS actually make you more valuable as a partner? Even from a personal growth standpoint, what about that sub makes you a better person to be with as a result of what you have learned there?
/r/PurplePillDebate28/03/21 10:00 PM

why are women getting blamed for strict standards They’re not, and I think you should go back a reread what I wrote because I have no issue with vetting out partners who aren’t good choices for you, nor for having higher standards. I also never said that men were being “forced” into dating women who follow FDS - I simply asked why a HVM would ever want to date a woman who follows FDS since the women who subscribe to that sub hold very negative views of men, and employ manipulative and emotionall…

I don’t want to “attract” a man So what is the purpose of Female DATING Strategy then? And what do women who follow FDS have to offer as potential partners?
/r/PurplePillDebate28/03/21 09:11 PM
5

Cutting out the bad ones is great, but what about attracting a HVM? And “there are no good men” is a fucking cop out because redpillers pull that AWALT bullshit all the time. And again, what about following FDS makes you more attractive than women who don’t?
/r/PurplePillDebate28/03/21 09:01 PM

Let me ask you this: what advice/strategy has FDS given you that has gotten you with a HVM or your ideal partner? And what did that person like about you because you followed FDS but wouldn’t have noticed before you ever started following that sub?
/r/PurplePillDebate28/03/21 08:51 PM
6

You still haven’t answered the question though: what do FDS women have to offer as potential partners to HVM? We’re not calling into question their humanity or whether or not they deserve respect or human decency, I’m simply asking why any HVM should date a woman who subscribes to FDS’s beliefs. Voluntarily, of his own volition, why would a HVM want to pursue a partner who uses FDS’s strategies? A more accurate question would be: what about these “leveled up” women makes them such amazing partne…

Any man that waits a few months to truly get to know his partner sees her human value and connects with her on a mental, emotional, and social level. How is this any different from regular courtship though? And why do FDS women need to be manipulative and abusive towards potential partners in order to get the types of relationships they want when countless other women got into happy, fulfilling relationships with men without FDS, and without having to manipulate their partners and treating them …
/r/PurplePillDebate28/03/21 08:35 PM

I am struggling to understand how men are getting forced to be with women who provide them no value? Right, so men are voluntarily pursuing women on their own accord. So, given FDS’s manual and advice, why would any HVM voluntarily pursue a women who follows FDS? What does she have to offer that is also high value to a HVM, especially if her regard for men is so poor, and if the way in which FDS advises women to treat their potential suitors is manipulative and abusive?
/r/PurplePillDebate28/03/21 08:08 PM
4

Or it could be that, just as feminism isn’t a monolith and neither are women, men also have different desires from their partners depending on who they are as people. We’re not debating whether or not HVM see women as people - if he’s HV by FDS standards, a key component of being a HVM is respect for others regardless of race, gender, etc, so that wouldn’t make any sense. He would not be HV if he didn’t see women as inherently having value because women are people. It was phrased rudely, but OP …

But does that mean every woman he encounters has value as a potential partner? OP made some nasty comments about mental illness, but did ask what an FDS woman would offer a HVM in a relationship, and it’s a valid question. If FDS subscribers are instructed to follow a manual that tells them to essentially make a list of demands and cut off any man who doesn’t meet said demands, where is the reciprocity? Why should a potential partner have to jump through your hoops for YOU? What do have to offer…

Interesting you’re responding to this comment thread but not to my other comment where I challenged you on why it’s okay to be wary of someone with a high n count, was hoping to hear from you on that. But speaking of prostitution and travel, I’d recommend you check out Australia since therapists can actually recommend sex workers to both men and women there. So yes, there is a market, even if the market for female prostitutes is much higher. Plenty of horrible people are capable of “faking love”…

I don’t want to turn this into a discussion regarding whether it’s justified to be judgmental on this is issue. Well I do. Still waiting to see one good answer. You raise a lot of good points - I’d say one valid reason you can be not necessarily “judgmental” but wary of a partner’s n-count is for health/safety reasons. Average number of sexual partners for men and women in the US is 7.2, so if you’ve slept with more than say, 30+ people, man or woman, I’d say that’s something to be concerned abo…

I imagine this is more of a safety issue for women, since a woman may initially approach a really good looking guy but then change her mind when she realizes she just likes how he looks and there’s no chemistry between them. Should she change her mind, now she risks the man becoming violent because he’s confused - “Didn’t you want me before? WTF?” As many women here have noted, many men don’t take rejection well, so the risk isn’t really worth it all the time. I also think a lot of women like to…

Very true. I’d argue that what people post to the internet reflects their inner thoughts and that once you get past the superficial “niceness” people display in public, you’ll start to see a lot of those views. That’s where I really think people that post to those subs will have the most trouble - because being in a committed relationship requires you to drop all pretenses and show a person who you really are, and that’s when all that bitterness will come out. Nope, there’s plenty of argument there. If you trash women on Reddit all the time, stop dating women. If you trash men all the time, stop dating them. If they’re so terrible why do you bother with them? Because you want sex? Obviously it’s not working out for you.

At least FDS has self-awareness to go with their curse. How? FDS and pinkpillfeminism both do their fair share to attack “pickmeishas” in the same way they talk about men, just less frequently, but that’s hardly self-awareness, it just crosses into r/notlikeothergirls territory because FDSers and pinkpillers seem to think they’re better than both. My suggestion was more that you should forgo relationships altogether if you really hold such a terrible view of women, but oddly enough, you may be the closest anyone has come to changing my view, albeit in a very horrible way, as I can see the desire for sex being a motivating factor if that’s all you want. So yeh that may not describe you at all, but it’s emblematic of TRP and MGTOWs. Liking the idea of it and experiencing it in practice/real life are two different things. I absolutely agree that hurt people will hurt others, but I’m not advocating that they isolate themselves, but rather, that they should just date their own, or not date at all if they think the opposite sex is such a terrible group of people. A more effective route for both groups would be for them to see a therapist, determine the root cause of these negative feelings towards the opposite sex, and to find a way to work through those negative views instead of posting nasty comments to reddit.

Gotta say I agree with you - it’s honestly just depressing reading comments from both sides, which yes, is sign I’m taking these complaints to seriously and should spend less time lurking in those subs lol

You are exactly the type of person I’m describing in the above post lol

I didn’t attack anyone as person, I literally quoted both an r/MGTOW user and an r/FemaleDatingStrategy user. Both made sweeping generalizations about the opposite sex, so there’s no “ad hominem” - I didn’t say “well you beat your wife so your argument is invalid”; I pointed out that their views of one another are toxic and disrespectful, and that you cannot build long lasting, healthy and meaningful relationships with the opposite gender if you spend all your time posting about how bad they are…

Then you don’t, IDGAF. The point of this post was to change my view, and thus far, no one has, including you.

Here’s the full comment: “At this point, men are so fucked up with their perversion, possessiveness and unending entitlement, I’m not positive WHAT is going on in their minds. One can say I’ve been cursed with heterosexuality lol. So until my body stops craving male companionship and dick, I’ll keep my standards and guards up as high as the ceiling. If me being his “possession” in his mind means he treats me, my family and my friends like royalty, protects and raises his children right, and supp…

I think these redditors all cross the line of “venting” and have ventured into something far worse - they speak in platitudes and stereotypes about the opposite sex and use that as an excuse to make really nasty comments. I don’t see how that builds positive relationships, or how you could ever have a healthy, respectful relationship with the opposite sex if that is your view of them.

From what I’ve observed, MGTOWs and FDSers both claim they don’t need the opposite sex, and many people who post to those subs emphasize how they just “use” members of the opposite sex (MGTOWs claim to use women for sex, FDSers claim to use men for expensive dates, dinners, etc). There’s a lot of disrespect in both of those approaches IMHO, and the users’ comments often reflect that disrespect. I also did not use the word “hate” once in my post. I did, however, emphasize that both groups trash t…

Does this assumption come from that study out of North Carolina where the researchers interviewed 74 men and concluded that 1 in 3 college men would rape women if they could get away with it? Because 74 men out of 3.5 billion is hardly an adequate sample size to generalize to the populace at large; lots of researchers have a problem with this study for that exact reason. Even if you’re referencing that study, “I believe all men would rape if they could get away with it” is your opinion, there’s …

You’re generalizing about an entire populace of people - quite literally half the population of the earth - and how can you speak for all men? What vested interest do gay men have in keeping women safe to protect their own honor? Are they looking to keep women as warbrides to rape? I find it very hard to believe that every man you encounter in the world is a raping, sexist oppressor, especially since in the US, less than 10% of men attempt or even commit rape, and less than 30% of the total popu…

Closest I’ve found to any sort of positive space for men has been r/menslib. Admittedly I’m kinda leery about this sub but I’ll give it a chance; r/MGTOW has some warped individuals on there lol

I’m sorry for your experience but I highly doubt that all that happened was you told your friend you thought some girl’s butt looked good and then, through a series of unfortunate administrative practices, you got expelled. Yes, there are people who play the victim and over-exaggerate - recently, there was a group of girls who got a boy expelled by saying he had sexually assaulted him, then later the girls admitted they had lied about the assault because they didn’t like him - it horrendous that…

That’s fucking awful man, I’m so sorry. I do agree that many men are wrongfully regarded as oppressors and predators, and that there are women who take advantage of their perceived vulnerability in the eyes of others.

Thanks for sharing and I’m very sorry for the experiences you’ve had with both your mother and ex wife, they both sound like dreadful partners to the men in their lives.

Men did “everything else” because women were never afforded the opportunity to go to college, work in their desired fields, or pursue many of the same interests as men until more recently. Historically women have been disenfranchised and regarded as baby-makers, even with how you’ve framed them. Men definitely hold the cards in terms of physical advantage, but women as a populace are every bit as intelligent and capable as their male counterparts in most other walks of life. And there is very li…

Lol I agree that most men have a physical advantage and certain jobs that require physicality cannot be done as well by most women. There are exceptions in that there are perfectly capable female firefighters, police officers, etc When you say women function under the protection of society, are you saying that because women aren’t physically capable of stopping a man from hurting them and this other men (in uniform) must protect them? Because I don’t see how not being able to overpower someone l…

But there are lots of selfless people in the world (both men and women) who give up their lives for the benefit of others with no expectation of anything in return. What evidence/studies do you have that prove women never develop into higher stages of morality?

Lol “random kids who try to do things that they can’t and cry when they fail” - what exactly can’t women do? You say women are not responsible enough to take care of their own needs but there are plenty of single women who do just fine on their own.

Have a pretty close family friend who is an attractive 20 yr old woman. She is interning with a great company in her desired field and would have absolutely no difficulty finding someone her own age. Her boyfriend is 53, works as an electrician and most women wouldn’t look at him even once let alone twice. It was definitely shocking at first, but he is a nice, normal guy otherwise. She is happy, says he treats her very well, and they’ve been together over a year. So while this is just 1 anecdota…

Lol you’re correct, but this works both ways and gets us nowhere collectively - you and I still can’t agree or even agree to disagree on this because we both pulled the same shit. If we’re discussing beauty standards and expectations of women, OP was talking about how men cheat on or leave their wives when they get older, and that men, no matter their age, lust after young women. I realize men have a reputation, but they don’t expect to be dating 22 year olds until they die (some yes, but rarely…

I don’t feel like women complain about unrealistic beauty standards so much as they seem to want to be acknowledged for more than their appearance. Women are regularly reduced to the measure of their appearance, in spite of their achievements or success in life. For instance, you’ll see criticism of female entrepreneurs, scientists and politicians focus on how “unattractive” they are, even if these women may be very good, well educated and highly successful people. I also think women are looking…

Yes I do deny this actually, because just as women can have nuanced approaches to love, attraction and relationships, so can men. I’ve been in a committed relationship with a woman, seen an attractive woman in public, acknowledged that she was attractive and gone about my day without even a second thought and been perfectly happy coming home to my girlfriend. Plenty of other men can and will say the same, they’re in committed relationships/ happily married and their partners aren’t instagram mod…

It’s great that you’re faithful to your fiancé but that’s anecdotal, And you are one singular person. I’m sure plenty of women are happy with their male partners and still notice other attractive men but don’t go out and cheat. There’s nothing wrong with finding someone other than your partner physically attractive, it what’s you do with those thoughts and feelings that counts. Plenty of men never leave their partners because they saw an attractive woman out somewhere. OP makes it seem like men …

I wasn’t talking about your relationship either???? In your comment you made a lot of assumptions about men - basically saying that we are superficial to a fault and “hypergamous in terms of looks”. This seems to be your view of things, but you are self identified as a “gym thot” so I don’t imagine you’re a man or know it’s like to be one. I’m a man and have no clue what it’s like to be a woman, so I don’t speak in platitudes about women or try to assume what they think or feel, or ascribe a hiv…

Making a lot of assumptions here - it’s as if you think men cannot actually love and care about any woman romantically unless she adheres to certain beauty standards. I realize there are a lot of dudes who are shallow pieces of shit and fit your description, but I would also say that there are plenty of men who love and respect their partners for who they are. We’re also allowed to notice that other people are attractive and still stay with our partners and not cheat - don’t women do this too?

TRP mindset is so warped and downright misogynistic it’s a wonder any women associate with them. But with the way women on FDS talk about men I’m also surprised that any of them are even attracted to men lol I get it: there are a lot of shitty guys out there and some of them approach you, nothing wrong with rejecting someone you’re not interested in, but it’s something entirely different to spend your time trashing men, and the sub seems to pride itself on being “amoral”. I don’t see how that mi…

Also can’t wait for this to get posted to FDS or Dark Female Triad where all the men in these comments are “fragile” or whatever bullshit they like to make fun of us for lol

You don’t have to care. The people with the most fulfilling love lives truly care about and respect their partners and approach relationships from a communal standpoint rather than the adversarial one you’ve chosen to take. Seems like you got played/cheated on by some guy you really liked and are now bitter and unhappy and have to present this intensely apathetic exterior so that you feel like you have some edge over the men you want to date. You try so hard to project this apathetic attitude as…
