| 6 | Got Permabanned from r/offmychest for commenting once on this subreddit. How is reddit supposed to be a mainstream platform?Automod banning is pretty common in a lot of subreddits. It's a pretty dumb policy IMHO, but is allowed because 'subreddits can run themselves however they want' according to admins and I guess it can sort out trolls pretty effectively. I've tried to plead my case with mods from these subreddits like "Yo, look at my history, I'm not a douche-bag, incel, anti-feminist, or whatever troll, I just want to participate in this one conversation and share some facts on this particular post's subject."
