Lol you're right, I read that wrong. My bad.

Why make a new post then? Sounds like you ran from the old thread just to rehash the discussion here where you could control the narrative more. You described yourself as a "predator" in another comment lol that scans.

This reads like "Hi I'm rich and I just don't understand, why is everybody so poor? I mean c'mon if I can do it, it must be really easy. Try harder guys!"

What would be truly magical is after countless times reaching out to Reddit, OP finally finds the perfect advice that cures this. "Insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results." -Not Albert Einstein

Hope it helps! I have listened to the podcast since '12 and always enjoyed his essays and stuff on This American Life. He's written a syndicated advice column since the early 90's iirc. He's literally seen and heard it all.

If you want something easy and actionable right now, start listening to the Savage Lovecast. Dan Savage consistently gives the best relationship advice I have ever heard. I credit a lot of my TRP reprogramming to him. It may take a few episodes before you hear a caller you can specifically relate to, but hearing all the other kinds of love pains that people create for themselves can really help put things in perspective for you.

Save it for the therapist, bud.

Awesome! Good luck! Your GF seems like a sweetheart and is a shining example of how wrong TRP's characterization of women can be. Remember this the next time you're in a panic waiting for the other shoe to drop. Edit) Don't give up, it takes some people months to years to feel progress in therapy. One of the biggest benefits is having someone to vent to who is obligated to focus on your issues but isn't your GF.

Ive made literally dozens of posts here but I still dont feel better Bro, you need therapy, not Reddit. Like seriously, if it's money that's an issue search for "sliding scale therapist" in your area. Stop coming here and go get professional help.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
