Nah, just man up and earn something, anything. Just to entertain your fallacy, no need to start wars, there’s always one up somewhere in the world. Sign up as a “private contractor” and earn some money instead of crying.

No fucks given. I don’t care if somehow I or some guy have to use the women’s one either. Who came up with that shit anyway? It’s not like private toilets are gendered.

It’s just a matter of money, even after a man gets a vasectomy, in vitro is still on the table, right? Just no accidents or traps.

Maybe I’m a misanthrope after all. The life of that friend you described sounds great, he gets the fun times and nobody can trap him.

The fact people complain too much nowadays is annoying, sure. The social media echo chamber makes it sound much louder, too. But free speech is funny. So a bunch of people think removing basic rights from half of humankind is the solution to your “lack” of sex? Lol? Women never liked men by default, but you can make slaves say anything. Crybabies cry about it. Me, I never like people by default, I’m just polite but guarded. You should be, too. Nobody likes or respects you for nothing, deal with …

Touché. Or having to take care of women in general: relatives, friends, pupils.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/09/19 06:57 PM

There isn’t much to explain when it comes to incels. Fucking loser crybabies from the the snowflake generation. Back then, at least men went to war and took a chance. 50/50 you die in battle, or get some loot and then get a wife or hire some whores. And that was fine, men didn’t cry they didn’t get to fuck supermodels. Nowadays these obese wastes of air don’t even lift.

Women have it easy when they go for “any quality sex” and during courtship. Many take freebies men are willing to give away, too. And yeah, many guys are willing to sacrifice themselves and let girls go first during catastrophes blah blah. However, if they actually go after sex with specific guys, or look for good relationships, or worthwhile long term friendships, guess what, it’s not so easy after all. Social media made the proverbial neighboring green pastures look LUSH. It’s just different g…

Yeah, that’s also why lines of work like modeling, prostitution, drug dealing, hitmen are actually fucking hard. But the snowflake generation likes to belittle others from the safety of their keyboards, and that’s where incels come from.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/09/19 08:45 PM

I see. I do that too but I unmatch them quickly. Actually I unmatch 80% of my matches whenever the app allows me to see who liked me. Everyone tries to punch above their weight on OLD trying to strike gold.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/09/19 01:44 PM

Why are you swiping right on them? Unless it’s some app with interface quirks, you really shouldn’t bother.

Now that’s a good question. I wouldn’t try to marry or seriously date myself but casual dating and hookups would be just fine. Unless I were dealing with someone much higher value than myself. That’s not a stretch, I’ve just described my life. As for the dumbest answers, most people in the pillsphere have issues, not to the point of becoming incel, but there it is. Take into consideration we’re often dealing with the so called snowflake generation.

So much this. New, novel, morally controversial fields that can have practical applications, and are falsifiable, must be taken seriously. AI, speculative physics and math, infosec, futurology, the gaming industry, genetic engineering, all have objective goals and milestones. Gender studies don’t.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/06/19 03:09 PM

“Gender studies” usually have that SJW and radfem vibe.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/06/19 02:56 PM

I’ve already learned from your question why some women show themselves with no makeup. So they’re implying they want more than a hookup, eh.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/06/19 09:41 AM
2

If that’s true, the real reason is that half of men don’t get any.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/06/19 06:48 AM

Good one. Pretty much we’ll reveal our flawed thoughts. It’s impossible to think like the opposite gender given body and hormones change everything. Let me define what are the mission parameters first, then I’ll come back to this. LTR but no mention of monogamy, so there are two options.

/r/PurplePillDebate13/06/19 02:36 AM

I guess that’s similar to watching subcelebrities on social media. There’s always a bunch of people who are good at something, and the carefully curated feed focus on that. So everyone looks extraordinary except the viewer. Growing a ncount is a hobby, like any other. It takes effort, research, it’s not for everyone. It also comes with consequences. Funny how some people look at from afar and define their value as a person by their inability at someone’s else hobby.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/06/19 02:33 AM

I see your point. Notice those numbers mean low ncounts go even lower, and there’s a minority of with a high ncount. High ncount people are a vocal minority, and everybody lies, too. Half of RP is delusional, honestly.

The more I read this thread, the more it hurts. It seems like quite a many guys are just mild versions of “niceguys”, and couldn’t hold a friendly chat to save their lives. The worst part is believing they need to “endure” shit tests until she’s satisfied. Breaking news: she’s actually trying to get away from you. That’s s some interesting data. A large minority of the pillsphere has socializing issues.

Thinking... I actually saved that screen because I was proud of my “metoo” comment, that’s the point honestly. Ok, reading my logs again. I trust she wasn’t checking him out. She isn’t trashy or too forward. Guy invited her to meet, it seems like it didn’t work. On a second chance meeting, he claimed he felt... harassed. She denies it. Maybe he was negging? She does have a penchant for peculiar guys. Whatever game he was playing it was his loss, she’s conventionally attractive.

Except you don’t need to pass a bar or anything, you can just become somewhat decent at getting women.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/06/19 10:35 PM

Then you don’t know how a hot chick lives. They have a queue of chumps willing to pay, but not many guys she’s interested in, with balls to treat her like an equal. Paying isn’t taking the lead, you just want reassurance. Most waiters hand the bill to the guy, true.

It’s not even expensive. Do you want to win? The arms race is getting worse. Now people are hiring copywriters and editors to make photo collages.

Fun flirting is always on the table, I can’t speak for others. Now being adamant on not paying, let me see: Some were my platonic friends to begin with. For some, I’m exactly their type, on top of other traits. Some were flings and we mostly spent time hanging out at my place or common friends’ places. Mostly girls from the neighborhood, friends of friends, when I was younger. Some were from-online-direct-to-hotel hookups. Some live far away and there was sexual tension building up for a long ti…

I heard it’s good if you’re getting matches to begin with. Go nuclear and hire a pro to take your pics. I’m not a fan of Tinder but maybe I should try to make it work, it’s too big of an app to miss out.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/06/19 06:33 PM

You can separate them further but three is a number the human brain likes. Funny thing is, I took some pages from PUA and RP and tweaked it for my own use. Take the charlatanism out the former, the bitterness out of the later, and they aren’t so bad.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/06/19 06:26 PM

It’s great they don’t hold a monopoly.

I’ve seen some retarded suits, some flying below the radar. Merely being accused is damaging, even for common people. Some accusers go for that sweet out of court settlement, even small sums are profit. Yes, metoo is getting out of hand. If you guys, incels, RP radicals, think that touching random women when you take pics means you’re alpha, whatever floats your boat.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/06/19 06:14 PM
1

Some women don’t say it but think it. Some don’t. I agree we should stop doing that, and my idea of gender equality is leaving that historical baggage behind.

Interesting. I wonder what circles you mean, and how often it actually happens.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/06/19 06:02 PM

Initial interest and approach. Match. This is the most studied part. Incels think it ends here. Texting, schedule a date. In person banter. Many guys are awful at this. Closing. Where, how, when. Many guys fuck up being too shy, or reading PUA, which thinks same day sex = alpha. If you don’t give advance warning, some women won’t hookup because they didn’t shave, shower, put on decent underwear. It’s obvious when you learn about it, yet so many guys push and push for that magical same day sex. Y…

I’ve met quite a few extro party girls who overcompensated and didn’t fuck more often than average, and women who were the opposite but did. I can’t stand extro party girls anyway.

That’s PUA and well... whatever works for you.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/06/19 05:03 PM

Sure, but then again I’m not always in the mood to slay. Build a backlog of matches or work to increase that number to your liking. You can and should spin plates too. Tbh hookups are pretty meaningless.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/06/19 05:01 PM
1

Okay... I’m gonna google that but making women pay is a bit above my paygrade.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/06/19 04:24 PM
2

Yeah it’s 5% for everyone, I have noticed that number too. That means you need 1 match/day/app, plus in person approaches. Use 3 apps, approach one a day, and there you go, a decent pool every month. 6 good shots a month is plenty, after that it’s up to you to close properly.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/06/19 04:18 PM

That roadmap is right here in the pillsphere, the best answer as of 2019. I take from RP whatever works but also BP, RPW, MGTOW, even incels and femcels get something right. If you’re into academics, most behavioral research offer insights, gaming theory, and gender relations (not radfem gender studies).
/r/PurplePillDebate12/06/19 04:12 PM

There’s also false thirst. Men are led to believe they’re thirsty even when they aren’t that much, and their value is measured by the quantity of pussy they get, even if they prefer quality, or other non-sexual pursuits in life.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/06/19 03:58 PM

I don’t see anything weird there. Pretty but manageable. I thought you meant subcelebrities, models and up.

/r/PurplePillDebate12/06/19 03:43 PM

I know what you mean but that has not been my experience. There’s plenty of MC to go around, some UMC is dtf too, specially in MTR scenarios. The other four factors don’t seem to correlate with casual sex in a positive or negative way. Few women are tradcon or RP.

80% of them are no competition, remember? The rest is a numbers game.

That’s an issue worth academic studies. I’ll keep adding to the reply. There’s a large and widening inequality gap when it comes to dating, at least in the western world. OLD is everywhere and it’s just a matter of time before said inequality rises in the whole world. It’s said a Gini index of 40- is needed for a country to be functional, when it comes to income. I’ve read somewhere the dating Gini index is 60+ for dating purposes, whatever that actually is. Many guys are just delusional. They r…

For the right guys, it’s a great time to be alive indeed. There’s a clear roadmap to reach that spot, anyone can google it. The competition is weak and most don’t understand how the system works, even RP.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/06/19 02:28 PM
10

I’m not saying you and those guys are going for the shittiest women but I have noticed several factors which correlate with shitty STR: Low class: LMC, WC, and lower Age, young is worse Trashy Extroversion Less formal education
/r/PurplePillDebate12/06/19 02:23 PM

It’s funny how the pre-modern world has two views on women. One blames them for everything: character flaws, curses, witchcraft, the original sin. The other sees them as perfect mythical creatures. And we mostly inherited all that shit. RP and BP are nothing new.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/06/19 02:04 PM
2

Ok, now I got OP’s premise. Yeah it sounds absurd. But two wrongs don’t make one right. Also, people will be people, always going down the path of least resistance. People should pressure for splitting but I know many men feel they can’t do even that.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/06/19 01:57 PM
2

Yeah, it’s an important issue of the so called OLD culture. It’s mind boggling how humans can lose perspective. A 5 or lesser 6 thinking they can LTR a chad used to be limited to women of low... intelligence. Now even otherwise smart women think such a situation is possible, just because chads pump and dump them.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/06/19 01:52 PM
1

Nah, some of them prefer to do it on neighborhoods other than their usual ones. As in vet it first, don’t take the risk of being approached by someone from the same circles. You’d be surprised how that works the other way around. 7s and 8s are the most approached ones. 9s can be fucking intimidating for most men, 10s are rare unicorns. Random approaches are still too slow compared to the hundreds of matches hot women get every day. Also, using an app gives them agency, instead of blind luck from…

That’s the first thing I thought too. I mean, you already know where to find girls: just follow him. Honestly, OP sounds like more envious of his brother than anything.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/06/19 10:19 AM
3

You mean splitting? That’s easy, but OP said “women paying for the full bill”.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/06/19 10:05 AM
3

There are many reasons to use OLD, even for models. Secrecy. It’s more discrete, just meet and hookup with someone outside their social circles. Quantity. They can pick from a larger pool. Being approached is a 1v1 game, apps allow them to text many guys at the same time. Schedule. They can find a way and time to see more than one guy. They build a backlog to fall back to when they want a booty call. Vetting. Lots of guys are clingy as fuck. Blocking them on an app is easy.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/06/19 09:59 AM
1

Yeah pretty much this. What do you mean by the last part though?
/r/PurplePillDebate12/06/19 09:21 AM
1

There will certainly be a way, maybe not pigs but something. Depending on how it’s marketed, it could be even a way to showoff wealth. Guy here and I would use it if possible. The mother’s looks are more important than doing it the “real” way.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/06/19 07:43 AM
8

What’s the percentage of introverted people in the world? 50%? There you go. People can have busy schedules, tend to hang around the same neighborhoods, and there’s a whole city out there. Women seem to treat OLD like lazy fishing, a passive process in which whatever they catch is better than nothing. It’s a supplement. Yeah, there are fakes and IG “models” gathering followers, and inactive profiles. Stacies chase mega chads, beckies go for chads, average women try to fuck above their league too…
/r/PurplePillDebate12/06/19 07:25 AM

Is that some kind of trolling trick question? Are you really not aware of metoo lawsuits? I don’t need to touch random women to have my share of human contact, but thanks for asking.

Now that will be a good one. I never really swallowed the RP as there are so many cringey things about it. But i don’t take the BP either. Infiltration. I have always made platonic female friends. On average, such conversations are more meaningful than guy talk. You need a very specific mindset to make it work, though. Platonic means platonic, a cigar is just a cigar. /r/PurplePillDebate12/06/19 03:59 AM

The example of the cup of coffee is irrelevant, who cares about that, I could buy a stranger a cup, guy or girl. The theoretical situation in which the woman asks you on a date is bullshit. Unless she’s way, way below your looks, or you’re mega giga godofthunder chad.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/06/19 03:56 AM
2

Fair enough but are you aware women initiating date plans are exceptionally rare? The only times I’ve seen it happen were when I went out with much older women back then. Or the few times women had much more financial clout than I. I honestly believe 99% of men will never see a woman foot the bill in their lifetime, except LTRs. Edit downvoting won’t change the fact women don’t pay, or pay once or twice in their lifetime. Cut the bullshit. LTRs don’t count.

The whole pick a color thing is weird. We don’t know how the world actually works, but we know relationships aren’t what they used to be in the 1950s. PPD is often a battle ground with different sides calling names, throwing the kitchen sink at each other. Then there are the crazies using it as a soapbox to preach. Still, I’ve managed to pick up good ideas. I believe we’re just pawns in a game, social systems (and even dating apps!) being much powerful than us. I don’t think there should be a ge…

While I firmly believe the Pareto principle applies, the fact the 20/80 thing in dating is backed up by only one OkCupid “study” is embarrassing. It wasn’t even a study, it was an attempt at shilling the app by claiming “low tier men have a chance too, so go ahead, send messages.” That was back then before you had to swipe in okc.

The easiest answer is tradition, women were not supposed to care about men’s looks, and they just kinda kept on. They care. Of course it doesn’t happen all the time, and much less often than incels think. But I’m certainly not treated the same as average. Hell, I can recall even a female teacher who gave me grades I didn’t deserve, and I didn’t even ask. That talk about cereals is nice and all but I wouldn’t trade my current connections for, say, dozens of shallow hookups.

Some people see others worshipping (or virtue signaling) parents so they take longer to come to terms. Or they never come around. I began to realize they don’t know shit, and their “be nice” talk is worthless, around 11-13 yo. I went through deep personality changes, figured out life is brutal, and noticed I was being treated better in life because of looks.

You overthink. I threw some stereotypes and you came up with long, detailed replies. That mental process doesn’t help with hookups. If you’re so set on that, gun for 4s until you make it. It really isn’t that special, though. Try some medium term stuff too. I can’t really convince 7s to ONS but they agree to all sorts of MTRs, fwb, casual dating. The point is, even though they don’t demand an exclusive LTR, they won’t have it unless I reassure them I agree to see them for some time, and there’s …

I can guarantee you fwb isn’t determined by looks alone. Overestimating looks is incel mentality. You’re straight edge because you’re predictable, you’re following a recipe. Let me see if I guess it right. You belong to a minority, you don’t grow facial hair, no tattoos or piercings, your haircut is “safe”, you dress safe and trendy. Maybe glasses too. You worry about what others think, specially whites. Hmm, so you’re already in therapy. Insist with your therapist on this specific point: you’re…

You overestimate casual sex. At least you already know you’re seeking validation. It really isn’t that fun, it’s mostly an ego thing, and IMO not worth the effort. Semi casual, casual dating, fwb, are vastly superior. You sound straight edge and not someone fun. The fact people orbit you means nothing, you have money. If you don’t have at least a couple traits signaling you’re adventurous, women won’t casual you. It’s a whole skillset: looks, social skills, mindset. That’s also the reason you ca…

These fucking dumbasses can’t get one thing right. Looks helps one get one foot in, and hookups. Good looking people are treated better in life too. But it won’t sustain any sort of medium and long term relationships. “Woe is me, I’m ugly” is just an excuse not to do anything. Some of them aren’t even ugly. They’re mental patients.

Incels are delusional. They worship women way too much. Here’s some fun facts: Pussy is nice but not the be all end all they think. It takes way too much effort to bang hot girls. If a man is unhappy because he can’t get the woman he thinks he deserves, much darker issues are beneath the surface. Getting pussy happens, the hard part is keep getting it. And nobody wants to be close to entitled people, so it’s a chicken/egg situation. I agree 100% a cute girl really into you is better than a hot g…

I can see how a focus on public mental health could be a good thing, but don’t drop shit on strangers. If the government decides to do it ok, but I won’t take part in it. The most I could do is paying taxes for the common good. As for school shootings, here’s how we deal with terrorists, we shoot them to kill. Ayn Rand was as a bit too much but her ideas can work for the right kind of person.

That’s a really good question, and as expected, lots of broken people around here. Yeah but life doesn’t work that way. Just as RP likes to mention women don’t know what shit men go through, the opposite is true as well. The only few examples I can think of, in which the woman will literally fight and shoot if needed be, is a police or military woman with a civilian man. Maybe a mma fighter too. Life isn’t nice and I’m just telling the truth. If you can claim shit like awalt, figuring out the condom issue is a tough one isn’t that hard.

Just like a cult. It’s a shame, it could be reshaped into something rational.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/06/19 05:38 PM

I can think of at least two common scenarios in which it fails. Most places in the world still slut shame women, so they don’t keep condoms handy. Only extremely assertive women go against the flow, and tbh I can’t recall any, ever. Yeah, too much passivity. Women prefer aggressive men for hookups, so it can be scary to insist once they’re almost doing it. Catch 22.

Someone was roasting the OP and yeah, pretty much spot on, you’re a sociopath. That’s fine but deal with it. You don’t give so you don’t get much in return, what’s so bad about it? As for dating, I just deal with it. If I want to have sex on the regular and have a larger pool than the women who get interested by themselves, I need to act. It’s a choice, you can decide it’s not worth for a while and take a two month vacation. Just don’t be entitled.

If you mean just looks, I don’t need to think too much as my standards tend to be high. For casual and plating 6s are hot enough, specially if she’s my type. For M/LTR I stick to 7s. I don’t pursue 8s and 9s, if they somehow become interested, good. I tried 5s but that doesn’t work for me.

There must be some balance. Being somewhat witty and pleasant is a positive, not something one does only to impress women. Yes, for some people who aren’t naturals, it takes more effort. I don’t know about Reddit but I could turn it on its head and claim you extros are retarded too. Why do you go around talking about nothing? I can’t really think of a definitive answer, that’s above my pay grade. Maybe I’m going through a cynical time in my life, living through the end of a marriage fairly recently. Meh. IMO it’s like this: Men like to gloat they’re super virile and down to fuck pretty much anything, therefore they tend to say a majority of women is attractive. Women tend to be defensive as most don’t want to be seen as slutty, so they claim most men are meh. The above mostly applies to public discourse, just put people in a secluded place and things change.

There’s an abundance of MC men who can provide a stable and comfortable life. UMC is doable in theory but harder. You really have no idea of what UC is, and can’t tell class from money. Also, why is this sub so focused on class lately? MC and higher care about class for marriage purposes; in other news, water is wet.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/06/19 02:37 AM

Diminishing returns sound about right. I can’t really complain and I know I’m in a fortunate position. RP is ok for naive, clueless guys but as they reach a comfortable outlook, they should really try to figure out life on their own terms. And I don’t mean MGTOW.
/r/PurplePillDebate07/06/19 09:38 PM

For casual casual I just check if the girl isn’t trashy, fat, or somehow dangerous. For casual dating it’s the above plus being skinny, my type, having a decent sex drive and an ok personality. For medium/LTR/fwb of any kind it’s the above plus being smart, a pleasant personality, a good face, and some cultural literacy. If I were looking for marriage, it would be all of the above plus compatible values, intellectual curiosity, and good cultural literacy. And I must like her smell.

Indeed it looks like the female version of a clueless guy trying to jump from incel to mega chad. For the OP: It takes a long time to internalize change, and there’s a cap on how many tiers you can move up. Your can never truly leave your upbringing behind. From a RP POV I’m probably mistaken, sure, but I’m not leaning any color. I’m just taking whatever works. Last year, a friend and I were in the process of ending our marriages, so we were late comers to dating apps. We weren’t actually planning to go maximum quantity, it just happened. I’m not sure I understand that correctly. Are you saying that dynamic gives RP women the illusion of power? That’s exactly what I don’t want to give them. Cold approaching makes it look like the woman is a catch, and roles are set early in a relationship.
/r/PurplePillDebate07/06/19 02:07 PM
1

Are you okay? Most of my friends, close or not, are UMC, so I’ve been around their relatives and acquaintances enough to know quite a few fancy themselves UC. Some think they’re on par with nouveau riche, which isn’t the case. A few even think they’re accepted into old money, which is laughable. At which point exactly I wrote discussing class is not possible, and should be reserved for UC?
/r/PurplePillDebate07/06/19 02:01 PM

Pretty much this. I’m not even oh so hot shit and what you described is exactly what I do, and the reason dating apps are so useful for my style. Why would I take risks if I can just do my own thing, pick my targets, and “warm approach” women who are clearly interested? “Oh but real men cold approach! I can only cum if they do it!” Not my problem. Some RP and PP women claim only extreme masculinity and cold approaches can moisten their pussies. I won’t do that, never had to, and never will.

Everyone is insecure deep down, isn’t it? You seem to think he MUST approach you. If you want him that badly, do it yourself. Someone mentioned he doesn’t need to. That’s mostly correct. He has options, so if you snooze you lose. Also, it’s a workplace, he might not think it’s worth the risk.

Hell no, I wonder who made that shit up. Differences can be interesting but I can’t help but feel exhausted by my opposite. I don’t care about partiers, family oriented, and professionals, and they don’t care about me either. High ncount sticking to high ncount.

Lots of comments about corporate life requiring men to be married to keep climbing. Okay then, but I can’t relate. On the other side of the career/hedonism spectrum, my main peeve is people nagging me on social gatherings. Specially old people if they try hard. I mean, yeah, marriage has its advantages but I’m not interested, drop it please. Most other people drop it when they bring it up, I disagree and don’t drop eye contact.
/r/PurplePillDebate07/06/19 10:45 AM
1

Both sides have a point. You mention keeping wealth in the family, which is indeed the historical behavior that defines UMC. The other side is claiming a lot of people on this sub fancies themselves old money, which is also true. I highly doubt more than a handful subscribers is actually not nouveau riche or prestigious professionals, and chances are they’re just lurking.
/r/PurplePillDebate07/06/19 10:15 AM

What the actual fuck is that, incel delusion? Why would 100 FB friends be more important than my best friend? If I had to choose, I’d sacrifice way more than 100 “friends” to keep my best friends.

Ok, answering the main question. You’re doing it wrong, OP. You’re negotiating with them instead of having sex ASAP. They believe they have leverage on you. Well, they actually do, now that you took that route. Once you have sex, they don’t have that power anymore. That’s when you present the fwb arrangement, or you know, “let’s see how it goes“. If you can’t persuade anyone to have sex ASAP, I think it’s called beta bucks.
/r/PurplePillDebate07/06/19 09:38 AM

I believe OP is right on that issue. Plenty of women have busy lives and are fine with non oficial status. That takes care of the exclusivity issue, too. Sure, deep down we hope for a LTR, but if ain’t broken don’t mess with it.

If people go out of their way to insult you, then you do meek shit and become the punching bag because you’re the easiest target. Figure out which is it.

Then hang out less often. Or develop fuck-you-too tactics, like pointing out it’s irrelevant because they don’t get to fuck you anyway. Women need to start developing some game and frame. Don’t be a passive ass choosing among whoever approaches you. Be very obvious when you’re interested. Be decisive and opportunistic, don’t be a prude when you really want a guy.

That’s the hunch I’ve always had about RP. They mirror radical feminism. Are both 100% wrong? No. Is that how adults solve problems? No.

Quite a few good replies on this thread. I don’t feel much sympathy for other guys either. We’re supposed to be adults and try to navigate life, not breakdown and go “woe is me, m’lady, muh pussy, awalt”.

I know, q4w. Guy here, 5’9 and it’s hardly an issue. I can recall maybe a handful of missed opportunities. I went out with a few taller girls in the past, it’s a bit weird but hardly cringey like incels put it.
/r/PurplePillDebate04/06/19 05:44 AM
2

Not really, and that’s tldr. I took an interest on RP and the manosphere 15 years ago, they’re not entirely wrong. But they’re too bitter and I’m the kind of guy who has always had female friends, even a lesbian. So they can’t be 100% right either. They’re a mess of cause and effect, correlation and causation.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/06/19 08:35 PM
2

I’ve never thought about the projection that kind of guy has. That pretty much nails it. They truly think women and chads take up on any sex offer. That’s how incels come up with imaginary ncounts at hundreds.

This. The problem of the pills subs is, so many guys claim they can’t get any, then they turn around and name themselves pussy specialists.

Clever. You know, things we know deep down but never consciously thought about. Have an upvote.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/06/19 03:04 PM

I guess. I was actually thinking about that as a counter to the incel concept of hitting the wall really hard, or 30-45 as the age range when it’s too late for women. Some of them do end up in happy relationships, and looking at them in public, most people can’t tell both the man and the woman were sluts.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/06/19 11:09 AM
1

Lol that thought has never crossed my mind. I don’t actually pursue 9s as I think it’s a waste of time but it’s worked a couple of times.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/06/19 10:59 AM
1

Proving? I can see how a 9 can be intimidating so not many guys will approach her but why would their ncount be much lower? If you mean a 6 marrying a 9 chad I don’t quite believe that’s the majority. Most 8 and 9 guys can pick better than that.

Average to high n women are less tense and more likely to enjoy whatever time you spend together. They’re more realistic and don’t think sex holds deeper meaning. But they can also be jaded and have hidden anxieties.

Go after lower status women, as low as it takes to get dates. Ask yourself if that’s fine. If not, improve yourself. It’s like jobs, it’s no rocket science.

I mostly don’t care but I can’t tell how much of an outlier I am, or maybe the pills subs cater mostly to low value, insecure men. When sex is no holy grail and low quality sex is pretty easy to get, there’s no need to obsess about it. It’s just like ordering fast food, it’s crappy and why would anyone write essays about it? The cognitive dissonance pisses me off since I was a kid, though. They want women to have more sex, then they want women to have less sex too.
/r/PurplePillDebate02/06/19 04:29 PM

I believe that’s mostly true but not as in a contest or race. It’s a power dynamic similar to playing card games, and checking who is more likely to fold.

I mostly agree with that idea. Some people sound so childish and naive, saying “don’t get her pregnant”. Yeah, right, incel, not everyone is celibate, okay? Accidents happen. And because accidents happen, I’m pro choice. Ideally, children should come to the world fully wanted and planned, but if that’s not a certainty, then opting out should be a possibility.
/r/PurplePillDebate02/06/19 09:25 AM

I think we’re actually agreeing on that. Those nutjobs are all about feeling they belong. The cause in itself is irrelevant and can change on a whim.
/r/PurplePillDebate02/06/19 05:36 AM

I do. The so called beta traits are not just about money, which I don’t have anyway. But being too nice hurts your chances. That puts out friendship vibes, and the girl might feel motherly. Some sexual tension is necessary. It’s a balancing act. My goal is to hookup on the first date, so I can’t be too nice nor an asshole.

It probably gets buried by “woe is me” and awalt. The pills subs, manosphere, femcels, are not entirely wrong. First date with no physical contact usually means no interest from either or both parties. It’s not always a logistic possibility to have sex on the first date, so second one is ok. Nowadays, I stick with apps so most first dates end up with sex, not counting catfishes and the like.

/r/PurplePillDebate31/05/19 05:54 PM

Mostly it doesn’t work IME. There are those women who truly are platonic and they don’t become real close friends. The other kind ends up wanting something more. I let them make the first move, lest they think ”he’s just another guy”.

In that case, I’ve met two. Ex-wife but she has some mental issues. Still qualifies. Main fwb qualifies. I’m always running some low level game regardless but those two are safe harbors. It’s probably not a coincidence they were platonic friends at first, and already knew most of my shit. They also made the first move.
/r/PurplePillDebate31/05/19 08:02 AM

Not trying to stir up a movement or anything, it’s just obvious it doesn’t actually help. Do you know anyone who got laid by liking random pics?
/r/PurplePillDebate31/05/19 07:36 AM
3

Whatever works. I just have better things to do than trying to police plates. One issue is, it’s hard to tell whether they’re telling the truth. 100% of the kinda normal women I know spin plates too. The others have psychological issues, clinically diagnosed. You can’t win either way.
/r/PurplePillDebate31/05/19 01:27 AM
6

If not even Geralt could lock down Yennefer, Triss and others, what makes you think you can? Honestly, it has dawned on me from a young age, it’s much more efficient to spin plates with several cute/pretty/hot women, than trying to lock down one 9/10.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/05/19 11:33 PM

This. Pretend I upvoted it 10 times. Some high SMV people are just bitter other high SMV people can do the same thing they’re doing. If one doesn’t like it, date low SMV people, their ncount tends to be lower for obvious reasons.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/05/19 11:26 PM

Virtue signaling or a “niceguy” to begin with, but what would you think of a guy moving into your neighborhood, and saying he isn’t a terrorist or a sexual predator?
/r/PurplePillDebate30/05/19 11:21 PM
19

That’s why I never ever “like” posts from women. Maybe if it’s clearly academic or not related to beauty. But it’s easier to simply refrain from hitting that like button. As for the utopia of “all men could run a month or two of attention strike”, just google the tragedy of the commons. That explains most of the lack of leverage men suffer from.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/05/19 11:18 PM
2

Yes but my opinion is biased. The only sample I have is a girl I went out with. She was secretly a part time camgirl, and also a 9/10, and had a good personality. The average pro camgirl sounds... off.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/05/19 06:44 PM
5

I was reluctant to consider that possibility, since I see porn in a mostly positive light. But I’m starting think it might be somewhat true. That’s specially the case when I go for too long with more extreme porn, it feels like normal porn and sex aren’t exciting enough. The good news is I tried to cut on its use and I felt much more normal in just a week. So it’s not like it’s irreversible, just gotta be aware too much crazy porn might cause issues.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/05/19 06:00 PM
1

Not being that way is a pretty obvious thing to me. I just find it weird some guys feel they need to mention their SO rules their relationship. As for being an outlier in the pills subs, that’s very much so obvious.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/05/19 05:27 PM

Yeah, blanket statements and if someone disagrees, say they’re projecting.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/05/19 04:53 PM

/r/PurplePillDebate30/05/19 02:57 PM

Uh? Don’t you think I don’t pay because I can be picky? Since when bald and fat qualify? What I meant is, it’d be interesting if you ever were attracted to a guy who refuses to pay.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/05/19 12:15 PM
1

I see. That makes sense, even if I don’t think that’s a good plan. I’m already missing out because I refuse to pay, but you seem to be missing out even more. It’d be a pretty funny battle of egos if you ever met a guy with my mindset.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/05/19 12:03 PM
5

It’s not so much a matter of respecting men who can get sex, it’s more like secretly despising men who can’t.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/05/19 11:59 AM
1

Are you a former femcel with insecurity issues? Do you really think the guy paying for those 3-4 first dates will fulfill you spiritual void? It’s baffling you say you’d rather be alone forever rather than either: -date a guy who won’t fold -settle for a 4/10 I’d take a bullet to save people close to me but I won’t pay for even one date when I meet random women online.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/05/19 11:40 AM
1

It’s hard to draw conclusions on that. I see online as two distinct groups. Women I have somehow vetted by virtue of chatting for months or years with no intention to meet, after which I can tell they’re not basket cases, and then I engage in casual dating and see where it goes. Hookups from apps and I have no plans to see them again but there are exceptions.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/05/19 11:21 AM
7

I have a difficult time relating to that. I’m very nonsense and refuse to even pay the bill when I date, I always split and it’s a pet peeve of mine. The rest just follows naturally. Don’t like it, walk. I also find that kind of claim suspicious, I have a hunch a lot of guys pretending their partner rules the relationship are actually abusive.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/05/19 11:09 AM
1

Fucker. For a long time, I’ve had a more ambitious outlook in life but that was kicked out of me over time. Maybe I was living someone’s else desires and never wanted to lead anyway. You can only tell which you prefer if you live it. I’m far happier spending time with women I’m truly attracted to, rather than trying to herd cats and make groups of men cooperate.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/05/19 10:12 AM

You need to figure out what you want first. Conservative or progressist guy? Marriage or whatever works? Kids or not? Let the guy have more power or equality? Housewife or career? One obvious hint is absolutely do not take the pills subs seriously. They’re food for thought but a train wreck if you try to apply it IRL.

Meh, both sides are wrong. Of course you can’t say awalt is literal, but radical feminists are just being lazy and unfair when they accuse aaaaaallllll men, too. It comes to a matter of expectations, it seems like, reading comments, many would be couples are really not on the same page. The early relationship rose-tinted glasses are an issue, too. Don’t let your fwb or gf go easily then, if you’re getting along. I’ve heard nowadays, even those are getting harder to find. Hookups seem to be fairly easy to get. It’s sure much better with some kind of connection, but I usually have fun anyway. Maybe being picky helps.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/05/19 12:17 PM

Yeah, that shit seriously scare me. They become someone else entirely. They change so much not even facial recognition tech would work on them. I’m still trying to figure out a pattern I found. Actually good looking girls made a point to let me see them with no makeup whatsoever, yeah I met them and whatnot. Whereas ugly (relevant) women tried to catfish me.

2

What do you mean, do you think women never approach?
/r/PurplePillDebate28/05/19 03:50 AM
4

That’s just selecting one personality trait, based on old gender roles. Also, it’s a woman not having hmm, eggs?, to approach the guy and blaming him instead. I’ve been in situations like that. Now, women don’t usually go for cold approaches but they make it very, very convenient. Then the boldest one wins, and the losers call her slut and fat.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/05/19 03:36 AM
2

Are you okay? I’ve seen some giga mega 10/10 chads in action and it was still a rather tame escalating game. Not even the lamest PUA would claim that shit would fly.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/05/19 03:23 AM
1

Those people in the pics, whatever floats their boat, but I wouldn’t go to meetups except at gunpoint. Also, that’s a pretty weak ad hominem. If they dressed up to take pics, whatever posted here would be more valuable?
/r/PurplePillDebate28/05/19 02:56 AM
11

Not much in today’s world. They want feminism and chivalry at the same time.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/05/19 02:45 AM
2

That takes balls. Saying “I’m wrong” is the hardest sentence ever.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/05/19 01:57 AM
2

Yeah, I was reading it has something to do with incels being banned from Reddit altogether. RP isn’t entirely wrong but some guys use RP flairs and just repeat “woe is me” all day. Some ideas are obviously right. Work on oneself, improve game. Beta bucks. The frame is ok too, the shit tests. Just like you said, shaming women will backfire, but don’t let them shame you. There are quite a few toxic ideas from radical feminists floating around.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/05/19 01:51 AM
1

You said unattractive but now I’m recalling something unusual. Last year, there was a girl who wanted to video call me to check if I was catfishing her or something. She was wearing no makeup (for real, not natural makeup), and made it a point I saw it. She’s also the hottest I can realistically get in years. Think small time car show model. Counting the two from my previous post, for some reason, the hottest wanted me to see them with no makeup whatsoever. No idea what kind of pattern that is. …

I mean treat it like a priority, Quickly swipe left on anyone who doesn’t look short. When you arrive at a place, scan for them. Let go of anyone who doesn’t fit. Fast.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/05/19 12:54 AM
1

Yeah, keep telling me I don’t exist. Not everyone is looking for the perfect prudish woman to marry, not by a damn long shot.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/05/19 12:39 AM
1

Not depressing but a lot of the casual stuff tastes like fast food.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/05/19 12:32 AM
2

Now we’re talking. Other than looks, game, and being decisive and opportunistic, there’s also the “being a buddy/partner in crime” factor. All things being equal, women prefer less judgmental men, that’s obvious. It’s unbelievable RP thinks they can go around saying “women are whores and need to be controlled” and then get casual sex easily. I mean, you just told her that’s immoral, now you want her to do exactly that. Pick one.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/05/19 12:19 AM

Really? Interesting. It’s a game of targeting audiences.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/05/19 12:02 AM

Why don’t you target short women then?
/r/PurplePillDebate27/05/19 11:52 PM

Damn right, casual sex is a lot about taking opportunistic shots. Trying to change her mind is reserved for giga chads. Either that, or you’ve been on her sights for some time, you just didn’t know it.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/05/19 11:48 PM

That sounds right. A lot of men insist they know it all and the women you described are desperate, though.

It’s a tough world and I can’t think of easy answers. We live in a time when people are on an arms race to the bottom. Filters, angles, Korean makeup, surgery... to impress people you will never satisfy anyway. I can’t even even tell you to toughen up an soldier on. You see, your post made me think about my dates from the last year. Two of them come to mind. The first one was a girl with a “I don’t care about makeup” attitude. Ok face. Good lay. Crazy. The second one has this interesting approac…

It’s not like society can’t stop talking about it, right? Pretty big hint there.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/05/19 10:42 PM

Yeah, when it’s time to pay it’s chivalry, other times you want equality. Pick one. Have you ever thought many guys don’t pay because they figured out it won’t work, right there at the first date?
/r/PurplePillDebate27/05/19 10:27 PM
1

Yes but I’d then work on it. Yes, baggage is different for men and women.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/05/19 10:20 PM
2

It really is a matter of perspective. It seems it doesn’t work for a lot of people. OLD is tiresome but I’ve never liked bars and clubs and whatnot. I used to meet women doing mundane shit like work, school, groceries, gym, the neighborhood, and of course vacations and friends of friends. But nowadays it’s so handy to find people I’d never meet by chance, so I’m sticking to it.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/05/19 09:40 PM

Lifetime, long time... I can immediately tell when it’s going to work. It’s obvious and overwhelming. But since it it happens 1% of the time it doesn’t matter. I concede your example of ice cream or something lesser like that could be nice. Maybe I’ll try it sometime. I have zero interest in women who think men must pay though, there’s always someone willing to split, why bother with “queens”?
/r/PurplePillDebate27/05/19 09:24 PM
3

Beta bucks something something. Fixed.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/05/19 09:15 PM

Things change. If men can finally not pay by default, then why would we do it? It’s not like I’m so young but plenty of cute younger girls are splitting.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/05/19 09:13 PM
1

It’s not a matter of money, you convey a message depending on who pays.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/05/19 09:04 PM
2

I’m not paying for shit, end of story. It seems most women who expect otherwise can sense that so we simply don’t meet. You wanted your equality, now own it. I recall the last two times I paid for something it was cheap, and it was actually to get away from them with no fuss. One time it was a cup of coffee, the other it was some bottled alcohol shit. Both of them kinda catfished.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/05/19 02:47 PM

The saddest thing is, most replies on this thread are basically telling the guy to hold a fart forever because that makes him look better.

Go for coffee dates. Both of you can bail easily. Change venues if it goes well.

It was a broken bone. It sucks but opioid withdrawal must be worse. I figured I wanna bang this girl now and I can’t hide my issue, so might as well own it. Fuck people, if they don’t like it they can walk. But according to RP we don’t exist or are just making shit up.

Girlfriends aren’t therapists obviously. It’s pretty funny seeing a bunch of guys online flapping around “muh masculinity uh can’t show weakness”. When you are unapologetic, you can make all sorts of shit work, like your example of talking about being suicidal. I have opened with all sorts of crazy shit, and some girls have approached me with even sillier pretexts. /r/PurplePillDebate27/05/19 01:09 AM

There are people who want the same, it just takes some work to find them. Don’t let them go when you find one.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/05/19 12:57 AM

This. I’d completely forgotten about wealth transfer. I’d also be completely fine if marriage changed to a system I couldn’t have illegitimate children but could still have modern fun.

Trench warfare was a pretty bad example. That’s the kind of thing you should avoid being experienced with. As for marriages, not sure about them. I guess it’s not for everyone. Experienced btw.

Hell if I know. It used to be a contact between families, and often the woman was adopted into the men’s family. There used to be a set of rules to follow, mostly in favor of the husband. Nowadays nobody really knows in the western world.

Kinda. If an incel is looking for a mom and goes “woe is me and it’s all your fault”, yeah, that won’t work. When it comes to mental or emotional issues, men judge much more, I’d much rather half-tell women than most guys I know.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/05/19 11:45 PM

I may or may not be telling the truth. Some women like it in social settings. OP is posting about a relationship.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/05/19 11:37 PM

I’m telling them, and I don’t even have a clinical diagnostic. OP sounds like he does and is somehow managing to hide it from a girlfriend for 2 years.

Why not? I have a general pessimistic outlook on life, I can’t suddenly change my tune. I try to make it somewhat funny. Also, it mostly works.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/05/19 11:12 PM

Nah, I go deeper if they wanna listen. Say, I’ve been reading about BPD lately... There’s a huge difference between “well who is normal when you look closely? lol” and “I’m an incel, I hate women, woe is me”.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/05/19 11:04 PM

They’re a vocal minority that can’t get “hate the game, not the players”. We’re all stuck with society, deal with it.

I believe marriages that work are indeed exceptions, not the rule. It made sense as a contract in the past but it’s way too hard to shoehorn it in modern life. People just follow the old recipe and then wonder why marriages fails so often, or at the very least, lock up people in a cage of sorrow.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/05/19 10:55 PM
7

Wtf. How have you managed to hide it for so long anyway? Of course you should tell. I do tell even hookups I have issues here and there, but in a cheerful manner.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/05/19 10:42 PM
3

The fundamental issue with RP is they insist women aren’t people and should never reach equality. It’d be easier if they just admitted they would lock up a harem if they could. As for the orgies, yeah sure I’d take a dozen 10/10 women if I could, what’s so hard to admit?
/r/PurplePillDebate26/05/19 10:32 PM
1

There are so many flavors to choose from too. Some are open relationships in all but name. Some are those the only exchanged messages are “hey Friday?” “What time and where?”.

Casual sex. I’m usually not interested enough to go beyond casual dating, and when I am, the woman is not. Just the usual drill in the present day dating. Never going to happen. Not only the situation you described is demeaning, no sex is no deal.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/05/19 09:52 PM

These pills subs are a fuckup fest. Sure, I can imagine he’s been going through a rough time in his life, recent breakup and whatnot. But that’s his problem. Nobody owes him anything. The fact he tries to rationalize and argue instead of excusing himself says it all. Even his friend tried several times to defuse it. As for the incels/RP, anything anyone ever says is white knighting? Is that really what you think? Men are always right? Guy is a chump. Plenty of fish out there, why bother wasting …

Drunk rant warning. I’m still sure most RP/incels are mostly not functional and don’t go out much. They obsess with exclusive 10/10 pussy while being as far as possible from the kind of men who could realistically get it. My situation is a bit weird. I pretty much gave up on traditional harems and I’m just ok with sharing some cute/hot pussy. I have better things to do than policing my casual dates and fwbs. I meant resentful of the game, not the players. Too many misconceptions around but it’s nobody’s fault. The fuckzone concept sounds about right. Too many women insinuate a relationship while I look at them and think “yeah right”.

/r/PurplePillDebate25/05/19 04:15 PM

Gotta remove their biases first. They seem to obsess with pussy, which is nice but not that great half of the time. “Female behavior” is probably the same as other human behaviors. We’re part of systems we can’t even begin to fathom. We know gender dynamics don’t quite work like in the 1950s and not much more. TLDR I know I don’t know, and RP thinks they do.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/05/19 03:20 PM

Things aren’t as dramatic as your opening post. I highly doubt gangbangs are the norm. RP has this circlejerk of every woman with ncounts in the hundreds but I don’t think it’s that easy for the majority to reach it before their 40s. There is some truth that they go for chad, and these guys are the real deal when it comes to ncount. RP says women compete for them, right? So it’s not like average women go out every single day, gotta score a chad first. Yeah, hot women have it easy but I bet they’…

The nature of relationships has been changing for centuries, led by western developments. Also, a lot of the so called common sense, now and in the past, is bullshit. The RP is one among the many attempts to find a new understanding on how shit actually works. Unfortunately, like someone mentioned above, it’s mostly a bunch of autistic weirdos who got it all mixed up and can’t tell correlation from causation. Still, some of its concepts could be starting points for serious studies.

Do you really think BDSM, powerplay, a D/s relationship, is the same as an abusive relationship with some age gap added?

Guy here. The clinging part is interesting, I suppose most men other than manwhores begin with a tendency to get clingy when young, probably because it’s relatively hard to get sex. Your take on RP projecting sounds correct. Unlike what a vocal minority of women virtue signaling might indicate, women in general don’t value sex highly because they can get it easily. I suppose I had an average ncount before OLD. I can’t say I wasn’t at least somewhat clingy, I hope I wasn’t cringey. Then it has su…
/r/PurplePillDebate25/05/19 12:48 PM

Not obscure at all. The pills crowd obsesses over sex because they don’t get any reliably. Most normal people miss companionship, cuddling, smiles, some nice texts. It depends on the mood, really. I’m just having a melancholic day and certainly not missing sex right now, but the other stuff. “Nooooooooo, it must be all about sex, nothing else exists!” say the pills. At this point arguing with them feels worse than a job.

You’ll never know if she doesn’t want you to. If she does tell the truth, it’s usually because you’re a chill or laidback cynical guy. Most hot women who enjoy sex don’t have low counts. Most people don’t keep accurate tabs. So why bother worrying? Shut up and dance.

Also, for guys who actually get something out of dating apps, a couple hookups a month isn’t unheard of.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/05/19 06:38 AM
1

Because there is a thing called competition. You gotta make her “settle” for the night/month/whatever. Do you always buy the best you can at a decent price, or do you sometimes buy things because it was correctly marketed at that time? Don’t you pick from the first page on Google most of the time?
/r/PurplePillDebate24/05/19 04:37 AM

I was thinking a bit outside Reddit and the pills subs. The academic debate keeps mentioning social constructs, and gender roles. You know what sucks balls? A lot of men don’t truly want to chase ass all the time, but peer and social pressure says otherwise. Men are pushed from early teens to play a kind of Pokémon game, in which they are supposed to run madly after any woman.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/05/19 04:29 AM

Who said anything about smashing guys. The thing is, if you don’t make your attempt so obvious, not only you can save yourself some effort, chicks dig it.

From the trio of classic dystopias, I think both 1984 and Zamyatin’s “We” are intolerable. BNW however, what really made me think was their happiness. Manufactured, conditioned happiness, kept afloat with chemical aid, but there has never been a society so thoroughly happy IRL, so maybe it could be an interesting experiment.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/05/19 04:10 AM
1

That’s more precise. I didn’t mean acting like a player 100% of the time, but a guy can’t be a dufus and keep parroting “muh pussy gimme” and expect it to work.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/05/19 04:03 AM

The human brain is a mystery indeed. I know a bunch of people, family included, which went through the same shit and environment I have, and they have struggles I will probably never understand. They just complain life is unfair and to me, pieces just kept falling into place. Our formative years weren’t that good. Maybe I’m the defective one from the batch. I just texted my ex about the movie and she was like wtf, Olivia! Remember the scene in “Her” when the gaming npc calls her fat?

I recall that exchange and I agree very much so. Honestly, there are some incompatible pairings and I’ve been myself in one. But other than that, most men are doing it wrong. I basically agree so no CMV for OP. The issue is gender roles are built up on everyone no matter how enlightened we learn to be. Women are more entitled in western society in the present day, the end. That doesn’t mean they don’t suffer from abuse and oppression but it is what it is. They expect a set of behaviors from men, and that’s kinda fine, it’s called culture. That can change over time but currently, they expect the unexpected , 99% of them. OLD is brutal but it has taught a few lessons. There’s only so much patience a woman or anyone can have. So when it’s time to decide who she will date this week/month, anything can be the deciding factor. Everything else being equal, it’ll be confidence.
/r/PurplePillDebate22/05/19 09:40 AM

Meh... IG is a good example. Don’t like anyone’s shit ever. That makes her curious. Slip into DMs when you feel you’ve got a decent shot but keep calm. Don’t be thirsty whatsoever. You’d be surprised how many girls actually reply and agree to meet.

Drunk rant but that’s exactly what I think since I was a kid/teen. Not judging or being that guy but jesus... it doesn’t make any math sense except for wealthy families who need a way to keep the money in the family. It’s impossible to make it all fit in game theory.
/r/PurplePillDebate22/05/19 08:53 AM

Never heard plating is related to that but it makes sense. I still don’t like TRP but just as many things in life, sometimes they have a point. So what I try/aspire to do since I was a teen is “female plating” as a male, kinda. As for the couple shit, and how to strongarm the girl to at least concede on one point, I guess I’ve managed to convince my fwb I won’t buy her shit, the colateral being I’m her type, and clearly better looking than anyone we know fitting that type. Nah, check the previous post. What you describe is true up to a point but it’s a fantasy mostly. The leader they could never get. People can’t fake that shit.

/r/PurplePillDebate22/05/19 04:21 AM

You could turn that around. I’m only with women as long as I get what I want from them, be it sex, companionship, friendship. Honestly, I treat guy acquaintances/semi-friends like that too except no sex.

The last thing I bought for a woman on a dating setting was a cup of coffee. That happens like once or twice a year. The rest of the time I make it a point to split. I don’t even drive anymore so I’m not driving them around, I don’t give them gifts. If they don’t like it they can walk.
/r/PurplePillDebate22/05/19 12:35 AM

That wasn’t picking on you or anything, just kinda fed up with the “woe is me” crowd. That’s the thing, there usually is a market even if the guy isn’t giga mega yardlongdick Chad. Just gotta pick your battles.

Something out of Black Mirror or dystopias like 1984.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/05/19 05:09 PM

Blue spectrum is a new one, never been called that before. And I know what you mean. I’m more on the insidious side, not only when it comes to Reddit pills teams. Women are hit harder sure. Men have more options given what do they call it again, “looksmatch”. However a glance at the wall sub shows a bunch of people posting carefully curated pics, more or less celebrating nothing, because they didn’t slay pussy then, boohoo, and they don’t slay pussy now.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/05/19 10:52 AM

OP wasn’t asking exactly for this but here it goes. The trick is to gauge how much people love or like you and love back just a little bit less.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/05/19 10:02 AM
3

Well well, before reading all those posts I was sure the wall existed. It’s rare I actually change my mind just reading a sub. You know what, it’s not a fantasy but a fallacy. For somewhat successful men and up, it’s sure a table turning event when they reach the right side of 30. But the majority, the average jaded guys getting ever fatter and more wrinkles, they think they’ll get young women by some sort of sorcery? Dream on. The wall hits both genders.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/05/19 08:17 AM

Which part of “any improvement is better than ‘woe is me’”you don’t understand? Maybe he’s happy with average girls, it sure beats sitting around crying “woe is me”. Average girls literally aren’t even bad.

He could become decent. “Woe is me” isn’t better than doing anything at all.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/05/19 04:57 AM

Having some muscle, fixing that shitty posture, and changing to manly looks would do wonders. Ditch the shitty glasses too. No idea who he is but it’s an example of a guy who doesn’t even lift.

I was laughing for real at the replies above, they’re correct. People can get away with lots of shit if they look good. Then I can relate with the awkward phases in life. It’s still life on easy mode, though.

Don’t know about him but I’m the guy who never pays for shit, otherwise it’s a hard next. Some girls are down to such arrangements.

I don’t know him or his work, and dating and just casually seeing each other are different. But let’s not be incel style tight asses, she’s hot enough to casually date.

Whatever works, right? That kapow guy is funny. Sometimes he’s right but other times, ugh. So I’ve been doing things that don’t exist... for him maybe. BP is delusional but they don’t hold a monopoly.

TLDR I don’t even know what I’m doing. I just message them randomly and slay. There were quite a few times all I had to do was paying for my own coffee and bam, slay. Shrug. Downvote ir you will.

I find it hard to believe such stories are common to begin with.

TLDR Who said it’s any random guy? Girls have a hard time to get commitment from the guys they actually want to date. Those are the guys who don’t need to giving a flying fuck.

Goddamn, that’s spot on. I recall all the endless wandering around in packs and people were in much better shape, being fat was a terrible thing. It was also easier to hookup with hot girls as they couldn’t reach as large an audience as they can nowadays. Nobody mentioned landlines? It’s hilarious by today’s standards, everyone would know you were getting calls or lack thereof, and sometimes family would pick up an extension and listen to your call. So you had to think quickly and be on your toe…

Honestly? People can’t do math, most of them, and have selective memory, that’s why they think they can’t any. In the age of apps, guys who can actually get hookups (reddit jargon: chad or chad lite) can reach that number within a lifetime. Not that it’s anything special but it’s doable. Say, over 35 years, that’s like 30 partners a year, not hard if the guy isn’t picky. Oh and if the linked material is PUA, don’t fall for it, that’s not how you get any.

Maybe not 100% but it looks like 80% of them are just doing it all wrong on dates. Can I steal your quote about children speculating on adulthood? This sub has some good points though, some guys are just so dumb and romantic it hurts to watch. IME 90+% of women split and they better, or I’m walking. Pro tip: it also depends on one’s image, don’t look like a provider.

Maybe you really want that, who knows. Maybe you just want internet strangers to bless your plan. Do you want to smash a girl a day that badly? Not judging, maybe you actually do. Is it worth changing your career over that? I was a late bloomer too albeit not as late as you, just 3-4 years late to the party. If you get 150-200 matches a month IMO that’s enough, just move on faster, most of them matches won’t get you laid. Hell, I can’t deal with my 50-60 matches a month, I just goof around with …

It only helps if you’re already getting some matches to begin with, say, 3-4 a week for a man. I’m planning to pay to see if the quality of my matches will go up.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
