To add on to OP's explanation, imagine a woman's brain being powered by a hamster in a wheel. Women in general are terrible drivers. Every single time I've ever come close to getting hit by a car, there was either a woman or a taxi driver (obsession with getting from A to B as quickly as possible to maximize profit = reckless driving) behind the wheel.
