There's no one-size-fits-all age of consent, as everyone matures at different rates, but we have to draw the line somewhere. Simply saying that the age of consent is arbitrary is no more an argument for it's reduction than it is for it's increase. As for age differences, the difference in experience between a 16 year old and a 25 year old is quite extreme, and the 16 year old would be highly susceptible to manipulation and coercion. 16	Reminder, 50% of american college women qualify for having raped a man by feminist definitions, 7% admit using physical force. Feminists deliberately omit this information and therefore promote "rape culture" by their own definitions. Had women initiate sexual activity with me while completely passed out. We can either give them the power to dispense capital punishment or we can not give them that power. It would never be as simple as 'accusation -> life sentence', but there have certainly been cases of investigations and trials being held extremely poorly. One example is children being grilled by police for hours until they say whatever they want, such as in the McMartin Preschool Trial. Well the details of the trial are usually kept secret anyway, right?
