I probably dress in the top 1% of men, I get a lot of compliments for my attire. Eye contact is something I'm actually working on, but honestly I don't receive a lot of eye contact. I don't think I'm terribly ugly, probably a 6-7 facially. But being short and Indian-looking does drag it down.

You are working with a scarcity mentality. Yes, exactly. This is why the whole title of the post is how do I develop an abundance mentality. It doesn't matter. No one can change your race. What doesn't matter? Of course you can't change your race but there is race-based advice, like if you are black, stay away from your stereotypes and dress and talk well.

Okay, but that is a cop out answer. Of course it's practical and intelligent for said Indian man to move out of there. Thus increasing his SMV is tied to a unique approach based on his race. If a white guy in a town in Alabama can't ever get laid, you wouldn't ever think it's because people there are racist.

Dude 5'8" and white is practically no disadvantage at all...of course it's not as good as a 6'3" model with thick wavy hair but you are definitely not starting with any significant handicap. Yes to all those things, but it's really frustrating to me to see my skinny, poorly dressed, but tall and white friend go to a party with me and receive a lot more attention. I am already approaching maximizing my own SMV as much as possible, but I don't like when all the data and my personal experience show…

Thanks for the advice. On the path to becoming a doctor, yes. If you know you can't rely on your looks to get you women, you better be rich or powerful. They will never love you for who you are. Is there anything you can do for it except generally raise SMV? I agree, which is why I made this post to try to determine the best way to do so. For an average white guy, just lifting, dressing well, and working on game may be enough to make him happy with where he gets to. For a short Indian guy, perhaps those things may not be enough IF e.g. you still have a thick accent, live in a rural area in the south, etc etc. So I'm trying to determine ways to increase relative SMV as well.
