Yeah both seem normal for me too! I agree it isnt a helpful term at all. If you were only experiencing "reactive" within a relationship that's seems a bit sad to me :(

I totally agree on that this has bullshitty vibes and sounds like a great term to use to justify trying to have with someone who isnt into it, which is obviously gross. I have to say though (as a very busy person in a brilliant long term relationship with a HVM who I fancy the pants off) I am often really mentally up for sex but fucking exhausted and would not be assed to go through with sex so cannot imagine getting physically aroused. Also, often I am just pooped and we're cuddling and i don't…

Huge red flag! Any idiot can say whatever they think whenever they like. Lacking tact is not something to show off about!

My partner's been a sweetie. I enjoy all the quality time and he's done loads of cool projects round the house and supported me with mine. He makes me laugh all he time. He's also supported me to quit smoking! Nothings perfect but he is a dream! In fairness we both still have to work a bit, but it's been a massive lifestyle change for us both and is been a threat to his earnings.

It's been fine to be honest. Were in a really lucky position where we both have to work a bit and we have a bit of space in the house, so it no so bad for us to be honest. It's been nice to spend even more quality time together. He has done loads of cool handy projects in the house and garden and I'm really proud of him. We have bickered slightly more but we can see that for what it is! As per usual, when we bicker we start laughing about it and sort it out within a few minutes. Nothing is perfe…

Ok so what you need to do is master the art of being warm and pleasant without actually engaging with anyone. Be positive and friendly but don't speak about anything personal. Identify good topics for individuals e.g. gardening for Margaret, cooking for Paul. If people talk start talking about personal topics, listen and be appropriately friendly and empathetic and then move on to a more comfortable topic. Don't aim to make friends with these people , just aim to have pleasant interactions with …

Preach. I have to say I now aways casualy and conversationally tell men that I would never sleep with a man unless it's a long-term, exclusive repationship commitment, WAY before sleeping with them is even on the cards so it doesn't seem like is about them. I say this because that's how I feel and what I want, you do you obviously. I find its a good way of showing there is no chance I'm even considering we might have sex in the near future. I often imply that I think it's grotesque and cowardly …

I personally don't wear make up and if I do, its very minimal. Men don't take any interest in me unless that's actually what they like, so if a man says that to me once were dating/in a relationship, I'm fine with it as it's obviously a true/redundant statement If I was wearing makeup on that occasion or frequently - I would take it differently!

I can only offe a personal story. have been in a very similar situation and have to say, despite appearing to make positive steps, he NEVER came good on actually getting his shit together to be able to move in. In the end I basically facilitated it and he was still dragging his feet. He also seemed lovely and was right in lots of ways. I broke up with him, for this reason and others, and you know what? He STILL hasn't moved out or changed his job!!! I am not going to tell you you should leave be…

Hard yes. Sometimes they will also treat you well intermittently, likely to get what they want from the situation.

Really interesting point. I had always considered myself anxious-insecure style and was always a pick me, but I'm now in a great relationship with a great man and I can see we're both definitely securely attached to eachother. Not really sure what to make of that or which came first in all honesty - it feels like it was a bit of both to be honest!

In my experience, I often find that the most eligible women I know are single, and I think it's because there are very few men around of a similar status/quality. Not just in terms of being really good looking with a good career etc. I mean in addition to that being funny, interesting, kind, etc. I know a good 5 single women who are amazing catches for all these reasons, and I don't know even one single man like that. Understandably, thee women have no interest in dating someone entirely unsuita…

In terms of physical appearance, these men looked 'cute' when young as they have hyper feminine, baby like features. The effect of aging on attractiveness is more pronounced on this sort of face for men.

When he texts you e.g. about making plans, a discussion, don't directly respond to what he says and in you reply say that he can call you to discuss (and whe youre free). If you want to be less direct you can set this precident at a time when you could reasonably be too busy to text e.g. just say "call me after work x". In person, i tend to say to men that i prefer when men call me, or explain that I a man obviously isn't suitable if he always texts and never calls
