Somebody finally paying you attention, that’s what you wanted, that’s why you commented You might be confusing me with someone I never talked about no body paying attention and never said I need attention. I do want the attention of women I want to date but that's it. At the bare minimum you could’ve said something like “well here are the things I struggle with” and probably had a good conversation with that person. You could’ve at least tried. Well sorry but I'm currently going through somethin…

I'm not say it's not saying women or other people shouldn't hate incels. I understand why they do and don't blame them. I'm talking about the level of hatred. If there were frequent attacks by incels I would understand but there isn't. There has been some but their pretty rare. Maybe I'm not communicating properly here. I feel like the level of hatred and fear is out of hand. People don't need to make random threads shit on incels, or comparing them to garbage. There's no need to imply that rand…

I never said there wasn't incel violence. But it's not to the level where you have fear some kind of incel attack or act like all of them might do something wrong.

Yeah you shouldn't take them seriously. Why would you? 4chan is the best example because there are alot of legitimacy mentally unstable who say insane shit. Are they serious? Should you treat them like they're legitimately dangerous or anymore dangerous then any other group with radical elements? Well I'd say no Also where are you guys getting the mass rape stuff from? Like I've listened to hours of interviews with incels of all different strips. I've been in a few incel communities and I think …

Look I know you hate incels but you have no proof this. This like saying Anons on 4chans would totally commit terrorist attacks if they could get away with it. Sure an insignificant amount might but it's not enough to blanket say they totally would if they vould get away with it or act like trolls are a threat to society.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/05/25 02:33 AM

Honest question what do incels do to make people hate them so much? The way people online talk about it you would think there an incel terrorist attack happens evey couple of months.

The best advice I can give you is that you just have to keep in contact a decent amount. It doesn't have to be daily messages just catching up with each other once a month or so. Also try to hangout when you can.

Granted I've never hide my feelings or whatever. But I can I tell you from personal experience it all feels the same in the end. The only difference is how much you'll miss that person but like I said a year or month later it's all the same. A rejection is a rejection. I think it might only make a difference if you pontional do find someone but if you only get rejected it doesn't matter.

Went to a board game night yesterday. It was at the same place I went to before with the same people more or less. This time there was a few teens and girls of indeterminate age who I think were from the tennis court outside the building most of them was not play the games just enjoying the cafe. I played a new board game called rock hard 1977 it was fun but I lost. It's still fun though.

Because of how low my self-esteem has gotten I've started thinking that it's better I don't interact with women. If I'm not charming, not charismatic, asocial, and apparently don't flirt I think it's better I stay away from the opposite sex.

I know what you mean but this very much a vibe thing that you have to experience to understand. There's a away women treat me that's different from how they treat men and attractive men in particular. It's not that they treat me worse in all instances but it's just different. I can see it whenever they interact with other men.

I finally finished Goodnight Punpun. It was really good but I don't know how I feel about the ending. Did Punpun really deserve for everything to work out in the end? I'm happy he was able to work through his oneitis but I think it should have been while he was in a jail cell. It just feels kind of fucked up that by the end of it that he's in a good place in his life surrounded by people that love him. Especially after the shit that happens in vols 6 and 7. It just feels like he got away with it…
/r/PurplePillDebate12/05/25 07:56 PM

Again like I said to the other guy. If we go via his premises your constantly sacrificing time, freedom, effort, money, etc... everyday. Personally I don't see the big deal. You spend a night with you gf and lose time to do your hobby that night. You can do it another. It's such a miniscule sacrifice that it might as not be one.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/05/25 01:26 PM

No I don't think that? Men aren't more toxic then women. They don't need humbling.

Okay but that's you interpreting what they're saying not what they're actually saying. They are in fact complaining about a personality. You're just reading between the lines.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/05/25 01:16 PM

Sacrifice freedom (you need to compromise and often just agree with her demands) There's noting wrong with compromising and doing it often. I still don't see the issue. Sacrifice money. Your money are not your money now. At best you can keep part of them. Annoying but whatever presumably she brings some vaule so I can get over it. Sacrifice time. You have much less free time now This is the part I never understand. This can be said about anything you do. When you get a job you have less free tim…

How are men not humble? While I don't believe that men are more humble on average or whatever. I don't think they're in a state where they need to be humbled.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/05/25 01:01 PM

Ignoring the loser argument for a minute. I've never fully understood this idea that you're sacrificing anything by getting into a relationship with someone. I always see people sight freedom but from perspective I wouldn't loss any freedom by having a gf. You might lose time but that's the case with anything you pick up really. That new thing takes up time but I can't imagine new random hobby would have more weight then a gf or bf. This just seems like people who have relationship trauma tellin…

What women? There's no specific demographic I can give you And what is the problem then? Criminals are attractive sometimes The problem again isn't that they are physically attractive. The issue is that women, yes even one's who date criminals, will go on and on about how appearance isn't what matters and that it's what on the inside that matters when attracting them. A guy will see that and see that the same women go for horrible violent criminals. It looks contradictory. If women emphasize mor…
/r/PurplePillDebate12/05/25 01:28 AM

I don't think the problem is that a sizeable portion of women fuck those same criminals. Sure there would be men crying foul about that but it wouldn't be as many as it is now. I'm not saying you are one of those women but I know those women exist and they seemingly exist in quite a large number.

I think conservative men are just going for whose chemistry they mesh with, no matter what politics they might have. I don't think most men care about women's politics except if it becomes an argument starter and something a couple can't get past. Bingo! This could probably be said about men in general. I never see men bring politics up as a deal breaker. As long as the politics doesn't cause constant arguments they don't care. Yeah some red pill guy will go on the internet and complain about fe…

How would I get four female friends?
/r/PurplePillDebate12/05/25 12:10 AM

They don't love liberal women they just find them physically attractive. The politics are irrelevant because that's something they can talks about after cumming. Basically stop giving people the benefit of the doubt in how much of their behavior is thought out.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/05/25 11:42 PM
3

It's not a conscious decision on their part so I can't imagine they could explain why it happens.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/05/25 09:57 PM

I mean if you're attracted to them sure though you're just one woman and we don't have cloaning technology yet.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/05/25 09:55 PM
1

I mean they're bi so yeah they can date men. If a man is bi dating men will probably always be faster and easier then dating women. It's just a matter of willingness if anything. If we're talking numbers it's probably over 60% of them could successfully date men. I think most men would agree it's not hard to find men to date. At most I see gay men complain about commitment issues but that's it's.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/05/25 09:40 PM
1

Do you mean how many of those men could date women?
/r/PurplePillDebate11/05/25 09:12 PM
2

Yes and? It has nothing to do with population levels it's that those are all negative traits for men to have and they heavily effect your chances with women in general. If a guy is one of those things it would be hard for him to date women. If he was all three he's basically doomed.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/05/25 09:05 PM
1

By choice or by necessity.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/05/25 07:41 PM

Honestly if a guy is bi, short, and autistic he should probably just exclusively date men.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/05/25 07:34 PM

I mean from men perspective it's not one criminal. I've see something like this happen online before and I would imagine every guy has irl examples of women going crazy for a criminal or violent man.

I had breakfast at a dinner yesterday with mom for mother's day since I'll be working today. She mentioned how she was happy I wasn't going around chasing girls and getting the pregnant like my cousins. My mom's a teacher so she hears and sees alot of teen pregnancy. Plus more then a few of my cousins got girls pregnant in their teens or early 20's. Apparently all my cousins (I have alot of cousins) but two have children. So she's happy I'm not like them. Shorter then me since I'm 5'9 that's not to hard to find I either like girls that are skinny or girls who are chubby but not to fat. This is one of those things that's hard to prove. Someone should just show me a pic and ask if I think she's to fat. I like small breast. The smaller the better tbh. Same age or younger. If they are older no more then 4 years. There's hope it's just not around Punpun himself. We see other characters grow. They have step backs but they get through it somehow. But when they get involved with Punpun it's he sucks them into his world of misery and stagnation.

Actually I don't think it was supposed to be causal sex it just kinda ended up that way. The sex was the goal but I don't think it was supposed to be causal that's just how it ended up. But yes I would say any skills you have that make you good at sales or interviewing would translate well to attracting women. Regardless of wheatear we're talking long term or short term.

The context is that after jerking off to his neighbors having sex he, seemingly, buys new clothes in roles in a driving school and tries to pick up women while there. While doing that he lies completely about his name (using his neighbors name instead) and life in order to fit in and get laid. It works in the end. There's more stuff that happens after but that's drama. <image>

Of course it wont immediately improve your sex life. The whole point of de-centering sex and relationships is that your lacking sex life would no longer be such a catastrophic issue for you (or anyone else who does it). That part was mostly a joke. It's always hard for me to feel too bad for couples on Caleb hammer because everytime I just think they choose that person. The same situation will happen with the genders reversed.

Actually I think the gay one might be more common then we'd like to think. The amount of women that sight that or something similar for why they'd never date a bisexual man shows that the fear is there they just think they're safe dating a straight man.

You can’t be like “it’s okay that im a sexist because….” That’s not how it works. I mean seemingly that is exactly how it works in the minds of surprising amount of progressive women.

Okay then not discrimination. But you do realize the argument that it's no worse then women rejecting men for being short isn't good right? Like sure it's not immoral but so what? That doesn't mean that short men shouldn't be frustrated or annoyed that women reject them for being short.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/05/25 05:20 PM
1

Just to make sure is your argument that since bisexual men (might) have it as difficult to date as short men that it's fine for women to have the standard that discriminates based on sexuality?
/r/PurplePillDebate06/05/25 05:07 PM

Fair enough I've just never heard a not bi phobic one. Op couldn't even give one. All her reason were bad. Dose that mean she should bi men? No but she should stop justifing it.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/05/25 04:23 PM
8

Does it make me straightphobic or homophobic then? It depends on the reason. The reasons op gave for not datinf bi phobic men are bi phobic. If you said I wouldn't daying a gay man because the idea that a man is only attracted to men gives me the ick. Then that would be homophonic.

Are you saying “bi people shouldn’t be allowed to be upset”? Or shouldn’t be allowed to talk about it where straights can hear us? Yeah that's what she's saying basically. Bi people shouldn't complain about being rejected for their sexuality. Also I'm bisexual myself so I don't agree with her but that's to be ex…

She means as opposed to straight people dating bi people. She's making an argument that it's okay to reject someone for being bi.

I am using common sense. There are people I would reject but aren't necessarily not interested in. I know women experience this as well because they talk about it. What are you not understanding about someone rejecting someone simply because of something minor that dosen't mean that they aren't interested and would be in a bad relationship.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/05/25 03:38 PM

Why are we assuming the two people don't like each other? Just because you're incompatible in some way that doesn't mean you dislike the other person. There are women I like well enough but I wouldn't date mainly because I'm not sure we're compatible. But I doubt the relationship would be bad just not amazing we might break up in a year but whatever it wouldn't be terrible.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/05/25 02:33 PM

Okay I was kinda with you up until this point. A woman rejecting a guy for any number of reasons dose not equalit to the relationship they could have had being an unhappy one that's a silly and rather pessimistic way of thinking.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/05/25 02:24 PM

"how do we fix this issue?" You can't it's broadly not possible. Maybe someone in the next 30 years will think of something but no one here will come up with a workable solution.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/05/25 02:03 PM

She's trying to say that with all the examples of how bad some relationships are the men who are romantically unsuccessful should be happy that they're not in one of those instead of unhappy they aren't in any relationship at all. It's not a perspective I agree with. Everytime I see someone say this it always strikes me as somewhat privileged. Unless we're talking about literal abuse telling someone who has never been in any kind of relationship that they're lucky they aren't in a bad relationsh…

Ice spice is a female raper who is famous for being attractive and her songs being very explicit. She's also, as far as I'm aware, and proud hoe and has lots of songs about that. She's very famous. To the point where there are thousands of videos of kids as young as 7 singing along to her songs. I don't really care about rap but every now and then I see videos about the black community being brought low by women like ice spice. These videos are usually made by black men.

I've started wearing my patterned dress shirts and I've been getting compliments from my coworkers. What I've noticed about myself is I'm more likely to keep doing something if I'm given some kind of compliment about it. Sure if I like something I'll wear it regardless but I'll have more incentive to wear something with tbe postive feed back. If I tried something all I got was crickets or negativity I'm likey to stop unless it's something I really wanted to try.

/r/PurplePillDebate27/04/25 11:16 PM

Honestly if I think about my everyday life then the answer is nothing. But thinking about my struggles when it comes to dating I think what needs to change, not necessarily what I want but what I think is needed is changing my personality as a whole.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/04/25 06:32 PM

Yeah just say Yeah I had this kind of thing happen to me in high-school all the time and my answer was always yed (if it was true).
/r/PurplePillDebate27/04/25 06:25 PM

I went roller skating last night and I'm not sure how much I enjoyed it. I liked it and it was fun to a certain extent but there was way to many people. There were cars double parked in the parking lot and parked on the grass outside the roller skatting rink. Usually it's busy but not that crazy. It was better then going out to some club I 100% don't belong in. But there's something about being in highly social environments where everyone comes with their friends or partners and all the regulars…

She'll explain that she looks past appearance and goes after men for they're virtuous qualities. Obviously she wants to find a man physically attractive but emphasizes t…
/r/PurplePillDebate26/04/25 06:02 PM

Actually part of the reason the conversion didn't end so well was because after telling her that I need to change my personality and her getting upset at I guess my wording or the idea of it. She started suggesting that I could change my appearance. Wash my hair, change my style, wear cologne, clean my facial hair, etc... I then got annoyed because I do these things, aside from the cologen, that is. She then got pissed that I thought she was implying I didn't groom myself. She was just giving ge…
/r/PurplePillDebate26/04/25 05:42 PM

No I trust her judgment on that alittle more then most other people. We're pretty close so her telling me that is like my bestfriend telling me that. Like I straight up have to wonder if she thinks this way how do other women who don't even know me half as well feel.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/04/25 05:23 PM

I had a, uhh, heated discussion with a female friend of mine about dating a few days ago that didn't end very well. I asked her the "How do I make myself want to make friends" question. I honestly didn't expect her to have much of an answer since it's a silly question. Which then made her ask why I wanted to do this. Which lead into a conversation about how I want to meet more people to meet more women. This conversation went on for a few hours and went down a couple path ways. Some key take awa…

/r/PurplePillDebate26/04/25 02:49 PM

So if you met a man that had the "personality of a woman" you'd fall in love with them? No probably not, I mean I guess I can't know but the answer is probably no lol.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/04/25 01:30 PM

I'm explicitly not finding those things but you asked why I keep trying and those are my reasons. I get that you think friendship is enough but it isn't for me.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/04/25 01:28 PM

The gender matters because I prefer the personality of women lol. Idk what you want me to explain to you.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/04/25 01:27 PM

They are definitely not good enough. I'm speaking from experience. All my close and emotional intimate friendship have given me a deeper yearning for romantic and sexual companionship.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/04/25 01:25 PM

I prefer women sadly and guinually I'm probably just never going to love a man.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/04/25 01:20 PM

Why this person must be a woman? Because despite being bisexual I prefer the general personality of women when it comes to these aspects. even if you find a woman, she might break up or divorce And if I have a friend they might move to a different country and we'll lose touch, or we get into a really bad argument and stop talking to each other. All relationship of any kind can fall apart and personal experience has taught me that once someone has left my life I'll never see them again. But that'…
/r/PurplePillDebate26/04/25 01:19 PM

Becauseb I don't hate women.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/04/25 01:08 PM

Because I have an internal desire for companionship. I realized last year that I really want to be apart of a team. I want to life my life in conjunction with another person, and I want to give someone my all and get the same (or at least close) to the same treatment in return. I sadly have a preference for women, but they don't have a preference for me so thing's aren't going so well.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/04/25 01:06 PM

No offense taken I have some awareness of how women view me.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/04/25 07:05 AM

Strange how that works. I would figure there has to be some commonality.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/04/25 07:00 AM

I think part of my problem is my unwillingness to conform to usual social rules. I've never really viewed myself as any kind of non-conformist. I've always just done my own thing and other people just thought I was off or weird. Which confused me as a kid because as far as I could tell I wasn't doing anything that different from anyone else. Granted I'm not good with social cues and subtlety so it's possible people were doing something different but I couldn't tell. Anyway that's all to say when…

think about it you don’t really want to live with anxiety for life do you? Generally I don't care as it doesn't actually affect my life all that much. I honestly only now started considering that I might have social anxiety since it's not something that would occur to me to talk to anyone and not doing so doesn't negatively effect my life normally. If your anxiety is debilitating, maybe you can start with small talk. “Nice weather today” “How’s your day” etc to cashiers or people you pass by. I …

Thanks for your reply and you do seem to understand where I'm coming from. The people in the post you linked are doing thing I've noticed. Eveyone has advice about how to talk to people (though I often find it vauge). Suggestions on what to do when you meet people. I leave my house I just don't have a reason to talk to people. Like I went to a cafe and then walked through a park today. Did I have the opportunity to talk to anyone? Yes in as much as there are people outside yeah. But is there reason for me to do it? Was there any organic way for me to do so? The answer to both was no. So realistically I have to make opportunities. Think of things to say (that's not a compliment since those never lead anywhere), and come up with reasons to do so. The issue i…
/r/PurplePillDebate24/04/25 04:48 AM

Okay that's okay advice, though I've personally found that the "people don't get the opportunity to talk about themselves" style advice is just wrong. But that wasn't my question. I just want to actually desire to talk to people as opposed to no where I am at best neutral towards it.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/04/25 04:36 AM

My issue is I don't want to and I really can't think of anytime I can. There isn't any organic way for me to do that and I don't really want to. I can tell you that it extremely rare for people to come up and talk to me. So I have to make opportunities. Hense the question of how to get myself to do it.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/04/25 04:26 AM

I alread try to out effort into talking to people. 99% of the time it leads no where. But that wasn't my question. What I mean is how do I make myself want more friends? Like how do I get my brain to want to talk to random strangers?
/r/PurplePillDebate24/04/25 03:59 AM

I want a gf. Dating apps don't work for me and all the irl dating advice that isn't some variation of "cold approach 100 women" comes down to building a larger social circle where you're regularly introduced to new women. Even cold approach involes practicing on random people. But in conventional social discourse, many women in that situation absolutely start moralizing and conflating that awkward man with a sexual predator (despite sex predators often being charming). /r/PurplePillDebate21/04/25 10:54 AM

I would normally agree with you. But I'm trying to be realistic with myself. The vast majority of women don't find me attractive or at least not attractive in a sense where they want to date or sleep with me. Maybe I've just been acting like a guy women are actually attracted to when really I should act as desperate as my situation demands. I need to cast as wide a net as possible and that will include dating women I consider unattractive or at the very least only very slightly attractive.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/04/25 06:49 AM

I've been considering it for a while now but maybe I should try to date women I consider unattractive. While I think I'm honestly fairly average and I don’t think I have high standards. Maybe I'm just wrong on all fronts. Maybe instead I should just try dating women I consider unattractive. If women in general don't consider me attractive maybe that just mean I should try with unattractive women.

But there is probably a subsection of those men that still have to get rejected 99 times before they get a yes. The men who keep going despite the odds are indeed persistent. Of course you or I might say those men aren't really "successful" if they had to get rejected that many times but OP might disagree. There is also something to be said about how success br…

I was at my job putting some shoes on shelves and a lady and her friend walked past me and ask how my day was. I forget what I said exactly but she told me that at least I was alive. This lead into a short conversation where I questioned how much one chooses to live and wheater we have free will or not. All the woman said in at the end was that she never thought about it like that and that was interesting. She seemed to ultimately be an optimist I suppose and her friend was silent the whole time…

I've also found networking events and singles nights good when I've gone on stints of not being invited to parties. I have signed up for Single events they're just hard to plan around my job, expensive, and some are just scams. I'm also not suggesting per se you do anything. Nothing really, I largely view being male either indifferently or negatively. I don't hate being male I just dislike all the gendered expectations that come with it. Alot of it feels like alot of effort for no rewards aside from the occasional thank you. Yeah it's better then having periods I guess but that's about all. In comparison to the worst treatment a woman could get being an invisible touch starved ghost is slightly better.

You shouldn’t be waiting to ask women out till they indicate interest. I actually agree but I also feel more comfortable doing it this way. Also I have very real fear of creeping some woman out and I want to avoid that if I can. But realistically I and everyone should just ask out anyone you're interested in. Usually I get rejected, but I don’t understand why people think being rejected is such a big deal. It's not about the rejection. Though I do view rejection as a waste of my time and energy …

Where are these women being asked out? How would I know? They just say it happens everywhere. Are they average? Which means 37, 5’4”, 174 lbs? Again how would I know what random woman on reddit looks likes? I guess they're average looking 20 somethings normally.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/04/25 07:56 PM

Women say they're being approached left and right. I regularly see women say that guys approached them, asked for their number, asked to take them out, hit on them. That and everytime I run into a woman she's always seeing or sleeping with someone. A large amount of what I think about women's experience or perception of men comes from what women say.

Well that's because they don't think you have to ask out 100 men to get a yes. They think at worst you'll have to ask out 5 to 10 men. Your chances are way higher then your average guy.

Why would anyone expect men to behave differently? It's just how things have always worked. You try over and over again. Sometimes you change your approach and hope that yields any results. You keep this up until you get a gf. This is how it has worked for 1000's of years. Well that and arranged marriage. But I imagine those had similar issues. Since this is how it's always been people expect men to just do the thing they're expected to do.

What your looking for is someone with gynephobia which is probably very rare. Most men who "avoid women" are not gynephobes. They still go out and live their lives like normal they just don't go out of their way to be around women, work in industries of majority men, keep conversations with women short, don't befriend women, etc... They don't go to the lengths you're imagining.

I wonder the same thing. I sometimes think I bait for manipulative women but I've never met any irl. I figure maybe I'm just not social enough and I don't approach enough women Maybe you have a similar "problem". Toxic women are still women so they expect you to do the approaching and heavy lifting in the early stages of a relationship. They also still have all the same standards so if you aren't attracting that many "normal" women you aren't going to be attracting the mentally ill ones as well.

I think it really only matters for long term relationships. But for hookups and just starting relationships of any kind it matters little.

I will never understand this response. I'm not even the kinda of guy that obsess over women like "bad boys" but all you need to do is go outside to see that empathy and emtional intelligence have noting to do with getting into a relationship or hooking up with anyone.

Book club? They don't care if you read or listened to the book. I've looked into bookclubs. There might be some at my local library I have to check more closely. Other then I looked into ones on meetup but they're always to far or it conflicts with my work schedule so I can't really do them. Is there a venue for rollerskating where you live? Yeah there's one like 20mins away. I go occasionally but not constantly. It's an whenever I feel like kinda thing.

Why do people recommended cooking classes in order to meet people wheatear it be for the purposes of dating or making friends? As far as I can tell a class is a one time thing where you pay $60 go to some place for an afternoon learn how to make a dish and go home. How is this suppose to lead to "meeting someone"? This is a genuine question. Is this suppose to be an instant connection thing? I don't really get invited to things or make connections easily so the idea of going somewhere meeting pe…

Two important pieces of advice from you local dateless loser. Don't marry someone you've only known or been dating for a year and discuss your financial situation with each other before getting engaged. Show each other your bank accounts, know how much debt you each have, and look at your savings account. Financial problems really strain a relationship.

Do you ever feel like your life is like a play. The actors, setting, and script change but the overall events stay the same. Maybe the writing is a bit more subtle or overet but the samethings keep repeating themselves. I've been feeling like that this past two weeks. I thought I learned my lesson and was making progress but nope. Same shit new place and actors.
/r/PurplePillDebate31/03/25 09:47 PM

When I say gender roles I mean things that men and women are expected to do. Not necessarily things that are men or women are only capable of because of their biology or things that are just natrually easier for men or women to do. So saying men natrually tend to be stronger then women or that women tend to be more flexible isn't really about gender roles imo. Sure women can be very strong and even stronger then most men with enough training (and drugs) but natrually if they just exist in the wo…
/r/PurplePillDebate30/03/25 11:45 AM

Kinda but not really. Gender, for the most part, is just sex so realistically it's linked to your biology. Gender roles are a mix of both soical convention and biological influence. I would say if something is predominantly biologically influenced it has nothing to do with gender roles. Of course there's a debate to be had over how much influence biology has over anything. But that debate will rage on for all entirety.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/03/25 11:43 AM

Men I guess? But that just feels more like a component of biology. That's like saying child birth is a female gender role. Not really as it's a part of biology that men can't really do. Both things are just the consequences of our biology and aren't something I would consider a "role".
/r/PurplePillDebate30/03/25 11:10 AM

You're just wrong, I don't know a better way to say it. You can have a theory of mind and still struggle with dating and feel highly anxious.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/03/25 03:55 AM

She just mean these men don't view women as people.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/03/25 03:39 AM

The more I workout and build muscle, the better I feel. What dose this have to do with male gender roles?
/r/PurplePillDebate30/03/25 03:24 AM

Seriously what are you talking about? Theory of mind (ToM) is the ability to attribute mental states to ourselves and others, serving as foundational elements for social interaction. Having a theory of mind is important as it provides the ability to predict and interpret the behavior of others. Okay you just mean they don't see them as sentient thinking people with their own feeling, opinions, and free will.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/03/25 03:23 AM

Being free How is that a male gender role? Love being able to walk where I please. Being physically capable. How are either of these male gender roles?
/r/PurplePillDebate30/03/25 03:06 AM

Is that a gender role?
/r/PurplePillDebate30/03/25 02:52 AM

I think the assumption is that said men will eventually develop these traits with time (aka, fake it till you make it). But I ask myself how common this process actually is. True, we can't know how common the process is as there isn't really a way to test this or truly know it.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/03/25 02:13 AM

Like the other guy said Alice can be a confrontational go-getter or is laid back and non-confrontational. She will still want the confrontational go-getter she'll just want that in different level and ways depending on her personality. There is no winning scenario for Bob unless he get's lucky and finds a woman who likes his personality.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/03/25 02:08 AM

That's okay but what does that have to do with other people the man isn't trying to sleep with being dismissive
/r/PurplePillDebate28/03/25 11:19 AM

The thing is even if you say it in a nicer way like "I wish I could experience sex and physical intimacy. It's an important part of the human experience that I crave and just being able to negatively effects my mental health." Even if you witre all of that it will just get dissemed off hand. People are weird about sex and the desier for it. If you just say you want physically intimacy which, yes includes sex. People will say that you're just lying and are just trying to use women for sex.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/03/25 05:01 AM

It's not that they don't wanna It's that it would just be shamed even harder
/r/PurplePillDebate28/03/25 04:28 AM

/r/PurplePillDebate28/03/25 03:00 AM

Experience probably and it's probably not wrong. Like I think she can find what she's looking for but it's going to be extremely difficult. She's asking for alot just from dating the only guys who would agree to that are extremely lonely men. But even those men would rather have sex.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/03/25 02:57 AM

Look man I get you but you understand that your not really the kinda guy I'm talking about in my post right? Sure you never "tried to attract women" but you do so realistically the question is boradline pointless to ask you. Guys like you will be fine regardless so I'm never really worried about them. Like I'm more interested in the guy who can hangout with people but still struggles then the guy who dose or doesn't and still finds sexual partners.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/03/25 01:38 PM

So then you just never struggled in attracting women?
/r/PurplePillDebate27/03/25 01:20 PM

What does this even mean? He just means change the approach after being rejected. So if just going up to a woman and asking her out immediately dosen't work do the small talk and flirting thing.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/03/25 01:00 PM

This is why I tell men to stop listening to women Men give this kind of advice as well. Honestly my question can be directed at red pill tier advice as well. The rest of your comment doesn't really answer my question and it's just more advice that would make me ask the men following it if they find it personally useful. Who cares about the theory if it isn't working for that person. I want to know wheater it worked for them (the romantically challenged) or not .

One bad experience with a nice guy and they will never date a nice guy . Plenty of experiences with toxic guys and they keep dating those guys again and again . When I read shit like that I do wonder where's my chance. There are women who constantly date nice guy's but they seem less common then the one's who date toxic one's for some reason.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/03/25 01:23 PM

I hate to defend this lady since I hate the term "nice guy" and how it's used. But if we're being charitable she means she was dating a guy who is insecure, multiplicative, and controlling. Very much the stereotypical male feminist, well the negative stereotype of them anyway. What she will do, or at least claim to do is date guys who are "kind". Idk man I can agree it's ridiculous and maybe dosen't fit the definition of affordable, fair enough, but I personally, as a FA male living in the US find that liveable. Maybe if you have 2 kids it's not but that's still a maybe. I know someone who makes half of that and has a one kid and she's struggling but very much making it through life. I think rent is to high but I don't think it's to the point where someone making 75k a year can act like their poor.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/03/25 11:30 AM

Women will struggle to find guinuan relationship's with someone who truly cares about them and who they are attracted to. Of course this is speaking in generalizations and there are men who have stuck trying to find guinuan relationships and women who struggle finding anyone into them. I think both of problems for men and women when it comes to dating can be blamed on gender…

Working retail for three years has really lowered my expectations of your average person. It really seems like most people can't read or lack basic observation skills. Also I learned that if you give people the idea they aren't responsible for cleaning up after themselves they will just make a gaint mess. I don't know what it is about shopping that turns grown adults in to messy animals but you would think the people that come to the store have never cleaned or picked up after themselves in thei…

True it is amazing. Guinually probably one of the best manga out there about a terrorist.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/03/25 09:05 PM

If anyone here reads manga I would recommend Dandadan. While I don't think it's the best thing ever like some people seem to, I will conced that it is a quality manga. It's art is great, it's monster designs are interesting, and the characters are great 4 volumes in. My only real complaint is that the fights don't feel as engaging as the character drama which is a shame since it is a component of the series though it very much feels like it's not the focus. If you told me it was orginally planne…

Depends who you ask. I would say no but I'd understand someone saying they are. There's a clear threshold in my head between the two. I like chubby girls but not fat ones. The difference is arbitrary honestly just a feeling.

That's not a redditor thing I see it everywhere. I think it's one of those silent majority things. Like if you gave guy a chance to speak about their preferences for or against tattoos women with tattoos alot would be against.

That sounds exhausting and horrible. I have no idea how you live like that. If I hangout with my 3 closest friends twice a week I get exhausted and need a break from them.

I do better 1:1 and I only really have one extroverted friend so it works out for me. If you sit me in a large group of people, say 10 people, I'll just stick to the one person I know or alternatively just find a nice quite place to sit and eat.

Since I've been thinking alot about mixed gender friendships lately. I wonder if other people have a greater desire friendship then I do. Like even in my most lonely I never wanted a large group of friends. I've always just wanted basically one person to talk too and hangout out with. Having a small group of 4 or 5 people to talk to on occasion is satisfying and the only thing I feel like I'm missing is a romantic relationship. I don't really place alot of vaule in loose aquaintances or none clo…

It did happen natrually. I natrually talk about sex that is apart of my vibe. Pretty much anyone who's known would tell you that conversations about sex are just part of hanging out with me.

You seem to think a lot about whether you creep women out or make them uncomfortable which probably clouds your vision of what flirting looks like. I did a fea years ago but I don't as much anymore. It could still be clouding my judgment. But I think really it's that I don't know what normies think flirting is. Like I didn't really try flirting growing up. I just talking to everyone more or less the same. Sometimes I would tell some girl she had nice tits and sometimes I wouldn't. I never consid…

Part of what inspiring my epiphany is having multiple women be guinually surprised I struggled dating. I've had three explain that they'd think I'd make a good boyfriend and I've had alot compliments on many different aspects of my personality. Idk, being told explicitly that a girl thought about having sex with me but because of her own reasons decided that would be a bad idea so she rejected me and having that same girl explain that she feels safe with me fucked me up.

On the brightside about my life I don't think I make women uncomfortable. Well maybe I do but that appears to an overexaggerated worry that I have some what gotten over. On the other hand I think my problem, well one of them, when it comes to attracting women is my personality. I mean in more of a wholelistic sense. Like my overall vibe is wrong. Not bad wrong just weird and that throws new people off. Then even when I get closer to a woman I think I'm clocked as this sort of sad, helpful puppy …

The guy who they're trying to push as the next male sex symbol Wouldn't that require men to care about him? Wait or dose being the male sex symbol just require women online to thirt after him? I guess the second option would make sense.

An annoying aspect of arguing with people on here is people assuming I'm talking "Chad" or "Tyrone" when I never use these terms. I say men women are attracted too, and I just mean men that women are attracted to. It's vague because despite how black-pilled and cynical I am I can acknowledge that there is some variation in attraction. Sure there are certain traits that are going to be more attractive to most people. But that dosen't mean every woman want to date a blond haired, blue eyed, jacked…

The issue is that all the things you “don’t need any more of” are things that will be MORE abundant in a relationship than sex. I meant I don't need more of in a platonic sense. So if you don’t need any more time with women to enjoy talking to, hanging out with, cooking and cleaning and watching TV with, you don’t want a relationship. First of all cooking and cleaning with women is not included in friendship. Not that I would be against doing those things with my friends (I run errands with one …

Some men who want to fuck a woman but otherwise don’t care about her or her personality don’t like this, because they’d like sex, and don’t want the rest. This is, idk reductionest I guess. I could be wrong but it seems like you're saying that the only reason a man wouldn't want to be friends with a woman he's interested in is because he only sees them as a sex object. I'm speaking from person experience here and I can tell you that it's not fun constantly being a guy women like being friends wi…

But I do think it’s inevitable that women will struggle, like men, to find a partner who will value her as a person, care if she’s upset, go out of their way to make her happy and have good boundaries and the ability to communicate them in a way that’s productive and reasonable? Absolutely. You forgot who they are attracted to and is attracted to them. They can probably find men who check those boxes but they might not be attracted to those men for one reason or another.

Last year I was "single" the entire time but going through another slut phase. All those women I was dating were also telling others they were single. Yeah I don't want to gate keep the word single because technically neither you or those women are lying. But when I say I've been single for 10 years I don't mean it the way they're probably thinking it.

One thing I have started to really internalized that I need to me skeptical whenever some normie tells me their relationship status. I've known way to many "single" people who sure aren't in committed relationships but have fwb, casual hookups, frequently date and sleep around. Sure these people are "single" but they're still sexually active so they aren't single in the same way I'm single. I literally knew a guy who told me he was single while hooking up with a cowoker of ours who is obsessed w…
