I don't mind settling as long as I'm not being settled for.

I'm a decade younger so he knows settling down is not on my mind.

I could be.

That's what I'm wondering. Is it a common thing for men to settle down with women who just happen to be available at the right time and place?

I'll edit in more information. I'm not comfortable enough with a friend to ask that. A catfish would be the same

That's the most realistic possibility.

I understood nothing but "feminism made men late bloomers" out of this. But why would only men who have had the time to get their shit together be interested in me ? That's the gist of it. I act like myself, I don't know what would "speak and walk like a woman" look like. People don't mistake me for a man. I am independent because I have bills to be paid and my family is too poor to take care of them for me, not because a feminist on Twitter told me to be. Yeah, fear of rejection, shyness, socia…

It will keep growing, the recent events are fortunately not helping it at all.

All the men older than 30 I've ever given a chance to were completely devoted to me. I could hint at wanting something and they'd have it ready the next day. The men in their late twenties always had a spine. Is it some old age desperation ?

Food for thought, thank you. I've seen that kind of projection from men too, but you'd think they'd grow out of it by 30.

With the rightfully growing islamophobia, it's hardly a threat.

I thought it was being ugly but how would I be uglier to younger men than to men in their late twenties ? Younger men are lonelier and more desperate, why would they be pickier?

The only men ever consistently interested in me are in their thirties, boring and submissive. I get more interesting men closer to my age when I get rail thin but they're still always in their late twenties. What would attract men like that but not men my age ?

Yeah, do not marry a moroccan guy in a first world country. They're the worst.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
