Sometimes this sub makes me feel normal. And that's kinda concerning coming from someone who drowned 3 puppies in row.

I'm really happy to go to the office this Tuesday. There was some strong horny energy oozing out of everybody's pants during our last meeting that I hope gets even more intense after the weekend. On another note, it filled me with immense sadness to learn that my boss is getting married. I spent my whole weekend crying that my opportunity to eat his soon-to-be wife's ass is long gone.

Interesting thing is his fiancée is the least attractive of his exes (that I’ve seen). He rode the pussy carousel for too long, hit the wall and now he has to settle before his sperm gets too old or his balls get to saggy for a young fertile woman. CMV.

Being fat certainly decreases their chances of scoring with someone hot, but if they have realistic standards about looks and their complaints come from other issues about dating, I don't see why they should not complain.

Isn't having small boobs at least moderately corelated with being thin/petite. Like is it actually common for a woman to be fat and also have small boobs? Boob size is a matter of proportion. This woman, for example, would be considered small chested, but she is probably a C or a D cup. Her boobs have shape and stick out: https://theviraler.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/11/37-hottest-ariana-grande-bikini-pictures-will-you-drool-for-her-best-of-comic-books-4.jpg I don't think that men who say they …

How does this explain women who get turned on by movie stars they never met, or by men they know irl who haven't shown interest in them?

There's also the option of being single, but if being with men like this is preferable then it furthers my point about how this behavior is just accepted.

There are plenty of men out there that have no problem respecting women who they sleep with, and men who don't try to sleep with women if they would think less of her. Men who keep behaving that way do it because they know plenty of women out there think it's normal and just accept it. When I started showing the door to men who behave like the acquaintance's date, my pool shrank a lot, but the men who stayed were better quality overall.

Average height in Canada is 5'10, it's 5'9 or 5'10 depending on the source in the US. My husband is 5'8 by the way.

Not gorgeous facially, but seems very well trimmed and fit. Women like this don't struggle with men based on their appearance alone.

Men stick their dick in unattractive women all the time, I would probably need viagra. Not my problem that some men have abysmal standards. I'm not the one expecting men to date and fuck women they're not attracted to.

The average in North America is around 5'10. I've never seen a 5'9 dude struggling to get a partner.

People forget that "small" boobs aren't often small when paired with a small body frame. Plus, all the women they're using as example are fit and beautiful. A completely flat-chested woman with an ugly face wouldn't be seen as attractive. Shorter than average guys aren't unattractive either unless they're very short and have ugly faces. I bet most women would take an Oscar Isaac sans the fame and money over a 6'0 with a busted face.

Nope, not the point. She was blaming other women for his attempts to have first date sex, while giving him a chance. Why shouldn't men attempt to have first date sex when those attempts, whether successful or not, won't deter the women complaining about it from dating that same man when he's ready to have a relationship?

And this is exactly the problem. Women are discarded by many men as potential partners for attempting first date sex or having a history of casual sex, while men are just made to wait. A woman who is flexible with men who already proved being hypocrites can't really complain about the state of affairs. These men behave like this because they know their behavior won't bring any major consequences with the women they really want to date. I've had men trying to pull this on me. I stop dating them b…

Yesterday I was an asshole to a female acquaintance, and I'm not even ashamed. An acquaintance of mine went on a date with a guy who tried to sleep with her on the first date. She got offended at first, but gave him another opportunity and went on a few more dates with him without having sex. He admitted that her saying "no" made her more respectable in his eyes. I don't think that the point is that bumble/tinder are for dating only, but more like if they're trying to date it's because they're not trying to have casual sex with that same person. I personally didn't have a dating pool for causal sex and another one for ltrs. I just met people and with some of them I wanted a relationship and with others it was just sex. None of them from OLD though.

Both choose. When you follow the traditional script, women choose but only out of the pool of men who also chose to approach them. You might argue that women have higher standards for sex, but that doesn't mean men don't have standards or that they're sexually available to any woman who wants dick. The same goes for relationships. No person is available to all so the choice has to be mutual. Question to everyone currently in married/ltr, do you feel like you were the one who choose your partner …

Relationships are shifting from being milestones in young adulthood that need transition into marriage to just being a feature. This means that people that don't care enough about relationships or lack the qualities to be in one aren't forcing themselves to be what society considers marriage material. This means that your chances of meeting someone decline, but that whoever you end up dating is more likely to be doing so out of love/attraction and not to tick of a box in their long list of thing…

Nothing wrong with them, but there's nothing ironic about it. The purpose of those apps is having you swiping left and right so they can harvest your data and sell it to a third party, or show you as many ads as possible (not sure if Tinder has adds though). The people who are making money out of it don't care if you get laid or not. That's not their main concern.

You might be more in love with the chase than with the actual guy, so once you get to experience sex you might lose interest. It's also possible that after so many years of being told that you get attached after sex, you're subconsciously avoiding attachment by blocking your feelings. Or it might be anything else. There's so many expectations about female sexuality that many women simply don't risk it by sleeping with men they don't like that much, so the attachment actually comes before and not…

No matter how good your sampling process is, you have very little control over who decides to take your survey. I have a slight suspicion that this is a problem of response bias, where either partnered women or single men are overrepresented. Unfortunately, response bias is very hard to verify.

I knew two guys I suspected of being incels based on how they talked about women and their experience. One was unattractive, the other one was actually slightly above average. Elliot Rodger wasn't everyone's cup of tea, but most men I've known that look similar have girlfriends. Alek Minessian is average at worst, and looks slightly above average in some pictures. So to answer your question, they'd probably be able to get laid, but they'd still have highly unsatisfactory relationships.
/r/PurplePillDebate31/05/22 01:29 AM

That's because a huge aspect of what makes a butt attractive isn't the size of the glutes but the shape of the hipbones relative to the waist. Side-by-side her butt looks small : https://hollywoodlife.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/04/Sofia-Vergara-Jessica-Rabbit-Red-Dress-SS-vertical.jpg?w=300&h=400&crop=1 But her butt also looks good because she has a waist. Plenty of women with big butts don't have much of that.

If that man feels societal approval is more important than acting on his own natural desire to be feminine, then yes, he should force himself to be masculine. As for your next question, people see most masculine behaviors more valuable than feminine ones, that's why women are less likely to experience mockery for being masculine than women are for being feminine.

I dated several guys with whom I didn't have sex, but once I had sex or some kind of sexual contact for the first time stopped waiting for it beyond a few weeks. Namely because they know men prefer a challenge vs easy women, and because the woman likely gave it up too quickly to someone she liked in the past and it hurt her. The fact that the burden of not being easy falls on the woman is very concerning. I've had men tell me that they respected me more for not sleeping soon with them. Yes, you would think by 2022 we would be past assuming all women want relationships, but I'm still getting advice on how to be "wifey" and guys on tinder Keep telling me everything I need to change about myself if I want to be taken seriously. They think way too highly of themselves. That's the thing. It's not that they have a preference, but the fact that they expect you to change to live up to it.

And I'm ok with that considering I'm already in a relationship which is not my first one either. If my small pool was a problem I would still choose the small pool of men I want to be with than a large one with men I'm not attracted to.

Every woman is aware of this. We have a long list of names we get called for sleeping around . I've just never wanted to be with men who looked down on me for things that they happily did themselves and I knew that my preference for this wasn't any less valid than men's preference for well behaved women. The most ironic part is that I never had issues getting commitment from men I wanted. Many of the people who gave me their advice are still single or stuck in a toxic relationship.

Not to mention that with more free time people can now afford hobbies that might be incompatible with having many children. Also, women going to work and bringing a significant share of the household income means a huge financial hit if they were to leave the workforce to raise children. Children might be good for society, assuming they can fulfill the roles that society needs, but are terrible for individuals who ain't that interested in them.

There are several countries such as Hungary offering benefits to parents, the problem is that none of these policies seem to have a significant impact. celibacy is also increasing for women. This is a problem of social isolation, not old.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/05/22 11:44 PM

OLD is very visually driven, so the only thing people judge each other on is their looks. People who meet in real life have many way to compensate physical unattractiveness, but if someone is ugly in a picture, they will still be ugly to other uggos. That said, I'm pretty sure this was a thing before OLD, it's not like there were no chronically single people before 2010.

Everyone can BS all they want, but casual sex is like 70% ego based and 30% sex. Thank you.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/05/22 03:37 AM

Sexual "liberation" is only liberation if you compare today's world to the one from a few decades ago when virginity and chastity where fetishized in women. Women are still looked down on for having casual sex and the idea that their celebrated by the majority of people for doing it is contradicted by most studies on sexual attitudes and standards. Many women have casual sexu with the fear of being judged in the back of their minds.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/05/22 03:36 AM
2

Because the women who keep having it aren't necessarily the ones regretting it. Furthermore, people can have conflicting desires. Much of the regret for having sex comes from morality, but sexual desire doesn't care about that.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/05/22 03:32 AM
1

Good advice, but the problem is that many women (and men) still see sex as something that men do at the moral expense of women. Therefore, the feelings of regret would still happen. You're probably capable of doing this not only because of your rules but also because you can separate sex from your self-worth. Many women still base their worth on their ability to secure a man after sex, unfortunately.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/05/22 03:29 AM

Psychopaths most likely favor one night stands, but I'm pretty sure that most one night stands aren't had by psychopaths.

There needs to be some balance. Non-committal men are bad for women looking for relationships, but too much too soon can also come off as desperation, and not only in men. Imagine you went on a first date with a woman who started talking to you about ltring you. That would probably feel too much unless you had significant interaction with her before.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/05/22 03:20 AM
1

And the thing is, society keeps promoting this by putting the burden of sexual restraint on women. If only women are told not to fuck around, then the message many men receive is that the only women who are worth "respecting" are the ones who don't fuck around. They don't seem to feel bad about themselves for doing this because their respect isn't conditional on their sexual restraint.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/05/22 03:15 AM
2

Given how hard it is for people do admit shame, I'm afraid that lack of sexual enjoyment isn't really the most important reason. Lack of enjoyment can simply mean boring and meh sex. Boring and meh don't make an experience negative, just lackluster. I'm pretty sure that a perceived loss of self-respect is much more of a reason than women care to admit. There was another study on the matter, and the most common complaint was that the woman felt "cheap", "easy" or some variation of these words.

There's no such thing as properly masturbating. Some people are just more likely to become desensitized by this than others.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/05/22 11:47 PM
1

I got approached a lot back when I lived in Latin America. I don't remember the exact lines but it was usually some kind of compliment such as "you're beautiful". Here in North America men seem more likely to approach during an event or some kind of activity. And most of the time they do it in a friendly manner that's indistinguishable from women approaching be just to talk. I prefer this. Direct approaches generally turn me off.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/05/22 02:53 AM
4

I don't think it's physical desensitization as much as it is a psychological one. When you fear something, some psychologists recommend that you imagine the scenario over and over again until it stops instilling fear. I believe that imagining sexy scenarios in order to masturbate also makes them less appealing and normal sex less arousing after a while.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/05/22 02:44 AM

Not the kind of pleasure that I would feel without love. Also in animal kingdom animals also have sex for bonding reasons other than pleasure. Some animals don't even have sex for pleasure. Sure, but that's not relevant to how I feel about sex. You seem to view sex in a certain way and expect others to live by those same values. Some people just don't feel the way you do and no amount of reasoning will change that.
/r/PurplePillDebate23/05/22 08:53 PM
1

Cuddling and hugging isn't pleasurable in the way sex is, or do people also masturbate to show themselves love? Buying flowers for someone isn't expression of love because I buy stuff for people to show off my wealth. You really think there aren't people who buy and pay for stuff to show dominance, their status or anything other than love? You must be lucky if you haven't had the pleasure to deal with them.

/r/PurplePillDebate23/05/22 08:10 PM
1

I said it's not necessarily an expression of love. Some of us also have sex for the pleasure alone. I also bet that there are other people having sex for 1000 other reasons. It's up to the individuals involved to decide how they want to express love and how they don't. I don't know their individual motivations. For me it's the fact that I can separate sex from love.

I'm not sure if it is happiness that drives women be less likely to seek a relationship. Women are less tolerant of risk and if the woman who is single has had at least one bad experience with men, she's more likely to be deterred from pursuing another relationship/marriage. This is speculation, or course. There might be many other reasons that I don't know of.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/05/22 07:00 PM

Exactly, nobody should stay in a relationship they don't want to.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/05/22 06:56 PM

So many men have low standards and seem to talk about how they don't give a damn about anything as if they were proud. If a man is only interested in sex that's all the women he dates will bring to the table. Besides, I'm not sure what this has to do with what I wrote.

The job itself needs to be normalized and respected, because otherwise these women will be abused by the system, regardless of its legality. And if this job becomes normalized and respected, then it means that the stigma of women engaging in sex had ended, and the notion sex as a trophy for men to pursue will end too. Therefore, the demand for sex workers will fall considerably.

Prostitution is already legal in many places, not to mention that like weed, it doesn't seem to be something authorities are particularly concerned about unless it involves minors or actual slavery. The frustration doesn't come from not getting their dicks wet, but from the belief, real or not, that these men are undesirable. Paying a woman to pretend she wants to fuck you doesn't solve this.

This article, however, was about her relationship with Stamos and looks like nobody asked about her marriage to O'Connell so we don't really know how she feels about him compared to the former. I also find it amazing how much time people spend analyzing the relationships of celebrities we don't know based on an article.

I didn't understand what it meant to learn to be single before you try to mingle until I started seeing posts like this. For as long as you're afraid to be alone you'll be settling for bad relationships. I don't know the exact reasons of your fears, but that's something you need to address before you jump into another relationship. Also, stop using PPD because it might expose you to many unhealthy relationship patterns that you'll end up normalizing and putting up with. Good luck!

Despite the accusations of self-entitlement, women do have a tendency to suppress their own desires to other people around them can meet theirs, which isn't a compliment. That said, there's always compromising in relationships, which would make men pickmes as well to some extent.

As a woman, being a pickme, assuming you call that a woman who's always willing to put her partner's desires above her own, would be a one-way ticket to get fucked over by parasitotic men. On the other hand, it doesn't affect me when other women behave that way.

I don't see anything in this woman's short posting history about approaching or being a pickme. There seems to be an assumption that a woman who approaches can't recognize the subsequent lack of interest on his part and end the relationship, or that a man approaching automatically means he's attracted.

A lot of these women barely get any time because theyre women, their debt to society is consider paid and they can move on with life. Irrelevant. These women are murderers or big criminals at best, but still get men who want them. The amount of time they spend in jail is beyond the point.

Men admit they can be tricked by their dick and its attraction to BPD girls. Women pretend to have fool-proof misogyny radar, then defend the guy who punches them in the face regularly. Many of them don't admit it though. Men saying they want pleasant and agreeable women is much more common.

Marriage rates haven't fallen as much once you account for people marrying later and for people cohabitating. Promiscuous men too have higher rates of cheating and lower rates of satisfaction, and satisfaction in marriage decreases as the n count gap increases. This isn't a promiscuous woman problem only.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/05/22 10:39 PM

Promiscuity is usually a downstream effect for mental or substance issues. I don't know who is trying to perform an n-count calculus, when usually the red flags are right in their face I think the belief that n count devalues women is what drives people to see promiscuous women unsuitable for marriage. There are many other qualities associated with less satisfactory and stable marriages that some men here seem to celebrate such as having a significantly younger spouse, a big gap in sexual experi…

The thing is that this study was done to examine the claim that rampant casual sex among women was what drove marriage rates down by making women unmarriageable. The fact that most women, even those with high n-counts marry disproves this.

Most likely. The authors say there's causal relationship between number of partners and marriage rates, but with these studies it's impossible to establish causation. A huge chunk of childcare consists of mundane tasks that nobody is excited to do. The problem with these zones is the implication that people stuck in them are failures by the standards applied to their gender. Women are very often judged by their ability to get commitment from men just like men are often judged by their ability to get sex. Yes, these conflicting desires are often a huge factor in people's inability to find relationships, because the people they want to date or the circumstances under which they want to date do not exit. Two great examples are the man who wants to be provider but doesn't want to be judged by the debt of his wallet, or the woman who wants an egalitarian man that will pay for everything. There comes a point when you need to choose one or the other 'cause you ain't getting both.

Money takes time to be made and the more money you make, the higher the cost of opportunity of spending time one childcare. She violated his privacy by fucking in his room and overreacted to his invitation to have sex. He forgot that OnlyFans content creators are paid to pretend and that her talking about wanting to fuck her roommate is meaningless unless she also did that outside the context of her content.

You can judge them for whatever, as can they - it's a two way street. I've been trying to explain this to you during the last a few posts. Glad that you finally understood.

And the force of habit. People have a hard time leaving a situation that they're used to no matter how shitty it is.

I think people are bad texters in general, not just men. I have to admit that I'm guilty of this as well, even with friends.

It's a cyclical thing for me. My sex drive is higher at times than that of my partner and I'm the one initiating sex when that happens. It hasn't caused any problems in the relationship. I'm not sure how higher is male sex drive on average, but I can confirm that mine sinks when I remember a sexual issue from the past that enrages me or makes me feel anxious or embarrassed.

Being a woman also means that you'll get shamed for exercising those options, so you'll have to select one guy and hope that he'll give you his commitment. If you sleep with him and he refuses to stay you'll be seen like a failure, and you'll be seen as even a bigger failure if you don't manage to get married by your early 30s. At the end of the day, a man's commitment is a woman's trophy that's used to measure her self-worth. Being a woman might be great if you're attractive and don't care abou…

Men forgo easy sex with prostitutes because it is looked down upon and dangerous even if it’s legal. So prostitution is looked down upon and dangerous, but fucking unattractive women you know nothing about is not? By the way, prostitutes in countries where it's legal have lower STI rates than the population whole.

I don't doubt that, but the prevailing narrative is that men would fuck anything because they like sex so much, evn women they're not attracted to.

I'm not destroying a relationship to make a point. I just think if your behavior can be a reason for someone to break up with you so are your standards. Most men wouldn't keep dating women who keep complaining about short men or broke men even if these men lived up to that woman's standards. You just think that men are justified to have n count standards, but believe that I'm not justified to judge them because of that. You need to make these assumptions about a stranger on the internet and the …

Getting with someone you're compatible with and someone whose behavior or values you won't resent. Compatibility reduces conflict and reduces the chances of having to compromise at the expense of your priorities. Being honest and sorting all small conflict right away before their cumulative effect hits you hard is also a must. If your partner said something you're not happy with, don't wait for the next fight to tell him.

In Western countries were prostitution is legal or largely goes unprosecuted just a small minority of men use their services. If men just wanted sex for the sex that number would be higher. Also, if a man constantly talks about women as if they were conquests, says he likes almost any woman, but only goes after women who he needs to chase even if the women who propose are decent-looking. A man who spends an inordinate amount bragging about the sex he had and constantly looks for validation from …

/r/PurplePillDebate30/04/22 09:47 PM

I find this hard to believe because: a) he's a man and only women do baby trapping and b) you're a woman and only men have sex with women they're not interested in. The only explanation is that you are a man posing as a woman. CMV.

From MacMillan dictionary: a refusal to show someone the love or kindness that they need or expect A refusal to show some the attraction or interest they expect counts as rejection. A Chad not wanting to approach you because he doesn't like you is rejection. Please go and read a dictionary.

Not being approached out of disinterest by the man you like is a form of implicit rejection. The man in question expresses rejection by not approaching. It's less painful, but the reason for this is the same as if it was the woman saying "no" to a guy.

Most of my dates have happened spontaneously, which means that we mostly hung out within a group with a group of friends and eventually ended up going out as a couple, just the two of us. Therefore, I usually don't remember who asked whom first. That said, there have been occasions when the ask has been explicit. I remember asking two guys out and they rejected me. Most of the men who explicitly asked me out ended up getting rejected as well. For many men, this dynamic isn't even about getting s…

I'm betting not. Plenty of women have said this, but none actually would destroy their relationship before the wedding, especially if he's a high calibre guy. My partner once criticized a co-worker who was rumored to be very promiscuous. I told him that I've probably been with more men than she has and that if this was a problem to him there was the door. I lied about this as I think she was much more experienced than I was, but I wasn't willing to put up with that kind of crap even if my level …
/r/PurplePillDebate30/04/22 08:06 PM

From the convo they've been dating some time and it looks like he might be proposing soon, so.... That would give me even more of a reason to lie up. By the time you propose, you have probably been dating the person for a long enough time to see incompatibilities and present problematic behavior. If there was a problem in this regard then the man should have left ASAP regardless of n count, if there have been none then the man wants to know my n-count out of disgust and not because of any practi…

Yeah. I'm all for women waiting to become comfortable before having sex, but waiting just to get his "respect" is a losing strategy unless the woman is comfortable dating men who feel no accountability for their sexual behavior and expect to be constantly gatekept by women.

I'm honestly incapable of not caring if I come across as a creep, so it's pretty much an inescapable problem, because real social confidence is a consequence of real social competence, not a result of delusional self belief. You don't need to be delusional, there are people who can't give a fuck about what others think of them even when they're aware that they've been rejected.
