There's no easy way for men to *unilaterally* verify women are empathetic. Even "woke" women can punish men for having feelings. However, as you suggested, when I was in school, a small number of women ("Pick Me's" as you called them) found ways to prove their empathy, and yes they got lots of male attention. Just as men are not attuned to what women are physically attracted to, women are not attuned to what men are emotionally attracted to.IMO this is because we're told that men do not care abo…

> but despite how great it was to be treated so well, there was simply no spark and I wasn’t romantically attracted to her Personally, I don't usually find nice (not romantic) gestures by themselves attractive, but they make me pay more attention to the woman who did it. That can make me notice something else attractive about them. Exception is for a gesture that increases her relationship value, such as demonstrating an attractive trait. By the way, I'm talking outside a committed relationship …

I am not a woman, and I don't know how women evaluate intelligence in the context of a relationship. I can say that it's not by looking at your grades though - I've heard women talk about how X man is intelligent despite not doing well in class.

Emotional intelligence (EI) also includes a lot of other skills, a lot of which are much harder for men (especially low-EI men) to gauge. This definition of intelligence is the subset of EI that a low-EI man can easily verify. Even if you don't know what EI is, you can still see that it took 5 minutes for person X to understand your feelings vs 5 seconds for person Y.

At a distance (or if you're a woman): You'll see the reverse harem. If she talks to you, a man: You recognize the sudden feeling of emotional safety. Like, you suddenly feel much more comfortable talking with her than other women. Generally, if my feelings change quickly, I assume I'm being manipulated. Then I go home and think about what happened.

I had a buddy (who was not a feminist activist, about as sexist as the average man) who dated a friend who could be called a feminist activist. I think their relationship was quite good. Average feminist women are much more complex and diverse than what TRP would have you believe, and I doubt you'd be able to tell them apart from average women. At least, I could not tell from: femininity, attractiveness, race, aggressiveness, hairstyle, etc. Remember, actual feminists (instead of TRP feminists) …

Intelligence means different things to different people, but from what I've seen, men perceive intelligence as the ability to intuit what's being said (or not said). Least intelligent: needs everything painstakingly spelled out Most intelligent: figures it out from a facial expression or even a pause in speech

> What outside of a women’s physical appearance do you look for in a women? Where she spends her time and money. Her education, her hobby, her appearance, her family, her pets, or somewhere else, etc. Things that I look for, but some of my friends don't: Emotional safety: Never trashes her friends/classmates/other men behind their back. Never denigrates <men with certain trait>/<race>/women/<people who use X product>. Bonus points for defending one that others are trashing. Integrity: No, I'm no…

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
