Notice that both OP and most of the people chiming in support all don’t know the difference between “you’re” and “your” 😂 Explains a lot

I liked response from u/rft24 That book is truly just about boundaries and essentially only being sweet and accommodating when the man has earned it. Don’t think that’s any different than any other relationship- people should only get the best of you if they give you the same energy. Being clear about what your standards are is important, men don’t do “hints” or meta messages. The second piece is enforcing their adherence to your standards by attention/sweetness (positive) and lack of attention/…

View them differently not after RPW but after dating one. I’ve always been attracted more to “bad boys” but after coming to terms with the fact that my emotionally abusive upbringing essentially drove that attraction, I reformed lol. It’s so frustrating when people call a woman a “gold digger” when she expects to be properly courted. A true gold digger takes the gifts and runs, doesn’t give a hoot about the man and most men would be able to see through her act after a few dates! Women who care for their partner and are interested in a LTR and make their own living aren’t automatically gold diggers just because they hold more traditional views. As someone else has mentioned, women select mates. So it always surprises me when …

Oh GOD. He’s too poor for a proper ring and it’s somehow her fault??

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
