This struggled with this shit growing up. It always got to me and actually brought me into a pretty dark mindset. It really fucked with my confidence. TRP taught me to treat this as a shit test. Agree and amplify. Don't let it consume you at all, and be proud as fuck of who are.

I should definitely speak up, its one of my weaknesses. I grew up with a shy demeanour. Probably why I ended up on this sub aha. I've improved a lot in this aspect since working with the new grad. I still struggle with expressing my opinion on technical details though.

Yeah I know this is the reason. But it just sucks that the manager isn't trying to offer me the same opportunity. I would think that I'm a good enough employee to warrant some challenges.

I don't have sound advice. Just reiterating that 6 months is way too short for a relationship to go that far. You should put yourself in the best position to succeed. If that means you want to chain yourself to parenthood, then that's your call. If you feel like living a more free life, that's also your choice. Ask advice from the older community on children and these types of situation. I'm sure there are a bunch on here who have shared your position. BTW I read some of your other posts. You we…

Don't show the world how much effort you put into yourself. What does it really accomplish? People don't like feeling lesser. Its an insecurity I think all humans share. They make fun of you because their ego is trying to minimize the damage of feeling smaller than you. I would lie if I said I'm different. I know what the feeling of inferiority. Comparing myself to coworkers makes me feel lesser, and promotes me to think of their flaws. Could you maybe go into detail about how you've engineered …

Manage your diet first bruh. Nothing is more important to weight loss than managing your calories. Seriously get that shit on track. Figure out your resting caloric intake. Then subtract 200-500 depending on how strict you want to be. Your tools will be coffee and water. I use coffee in the mornings and the benefit of appetite suppression is not to be underestimated. Search up intermittent fasting and keto. Since you're 18, don't bother with keto right now. Its quite expensive to maintain. Keep …

I know someone that went back to college in his 40s. He became a software tester and works with us. However, I feel that he is very limited in what he can do and relies on the experience from his previous career to actually contribute. As a software tester, he is flat out too inexperienced to be useful. So depending on your age, you should consider how your current experience can be leveraged in the new career path you choose. If you're an older guy, you should definitely think about this more. …

I see myself moving cities this year, and would love to get a more concrete idea about how this is done. Is there anyone who actually did this and succeeded?

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
