That said: Gaming is a increasing part of the lives of children and adolescents. More girls are growing up playing games. I saw a couple posts on it talking about it being specifically about women, while simultaneously saying "we need to spread this so that people see how widespread of a problem sexual assault is, and how many people they know personally that are victims." ...yet they failed to see the irony in saying that while saying the hashtag was for women. They pointed out what was wrong with it themselves without realizing it.

You just met someone that was a shitty person. They exist. Arguably, you edge on it too by "testing" her saying "if she enjoys it so much maybe she should get herself one." From my understanding, they've discussed that, and she has realized she goes too far with actions at times. Problem is she never realizes it in the moment, or forgets or something. Idk, off topic but thanks for the input anyway. If it gets ridiculous and it really starts ruining his life I will step on, but until then, I think people need to make mistakes to learn lessons.

I've known her for years, and she is a good person. Most of the issues that come up for them where he is abused is due to at its base abuse she received and never managed properly. They are working on it, but he's losing patience I think.

The hell, my SO just mentioned this piece when we were talking about the bestof piece in /r/sex today about how women feel when their SO watches porn. She cited it as proof men and women are "wired" differently and expecting them not to watch porn ever is stupid.

Again, I could use that same response to justify use of a female condom by saying making her use it is me protecting myself, so that's not really an excuse for the difference. So then, if I were to turn that question around and direct it at a women, what response would I get? I doubt I would even have to cite a study to say that men wear condoms more than women. If what you say is perfectly true, why don't more women opting for condom usage and not putting your health and safety in someone else's hands.

I realize many don't, but a lot of crap is given to men on the basis that it ends up leaving the women unfairly with the task of protecting against unwanted pregnancy (I've received this lecture before). I was merely asking if that expectation of it being the "man's duty" would change.

Wow, now I really don't want to take this issue up with my best friends girlfriend. She is a strong feminist and boarders on feme-nazi in the sense that if you disagree with her, you are wrong and part of the problem (even though I'm feminist myself in forwarding EQUAL treatment). Even the other moderate feminist females in our group butt heads with her. Those types are the kind you have a hard time talking reasonably with and why I'm not more vocal about my feminist support.
