Ideal? I think basic income should be implemented first off, because it takes care of poverty for those who can't work without creating the welfare trap we have now that makes it better to not work than have a shit job. It also allows people to take more risks and have more say in what they do because they have a safety net. I'm 24. I went to school for computer science and ended up dropping out due to depression and disinterest in the field. Now I'm working a simple job as I'm trying to learn how to profit in the stock market. It will take a lot of research and time to learn how to do it right, but in the end for me it will be very rewarding to have a work from home, self employed source of income.
