The black pill makes a lot of sense if you believe in hardcore biological determinism. The idea that a woman can't love a man even remotely unconditionally, without context, will be as clear as her being unable to breathe under water. Whereas men are much more likely to develop deep affection for women because overvaluing and protecting them is simply rooted in biology. He's conflating "veteran care" with publicity, which the veterans do get a lot of. However, the VA is a mess and veterans are perhaps subjected to the simple age-old alpha expectation of "Suck it up, get over it yourself."
