Roommate has that cute sweet girl next door happy vibe. OP has a tougher strong staring you down type vibe. Just on pictures alone I would more likely chat with the roommate. I've known a social group of women who twice kicked out one of their own because (the 2 kicked out women) got all the attention from men -- both had magnetic personalities, and great figures, and were super generous and nice. To be honest, It's really hard to compete against that, especially if you have average energy, pers…

Great response. Also let's not ignore the intimidating factor of two attractive women. One is enough but 2? Also as commented by someone else the attitude of the OP may influence this as well. Especially if she is angry inside + is expecting to be ignored and this shows on her face or body language.

I learned (the wrong way) it's much better to start by asking general questions about groups of people, not his personal preferences.... 'if 100 straight guys were asked "what are your top 3 fantasies" what would their answers most likely be?". Or ask definitions... how you you define power / loss of power/ control in a sexual relationship?

Ridiculous how upset I got when he wrote he was mad at her for laughing at the bartender's jokes. Settle down... settle down...

If, as you say, you're tight with other staff ... ask them what they think. You might get a clearer view.

A post doesn't need to be 100% perfect to qualify for an upvote. Maybe just 51%.

thx... heres something too... I attended relatinship courses... an attractive smart successful woman got up and complained about no men in her life , just lots of guy-buddies. Someone suggested she tell people what she wants. So she did. 2 weeks later, she found her life-mate, a guy friend who had liked her forever, she just had to put it out there. .... so there. plus... being funny & cocky is not my natural state, but it works to get attention. if you're intell & confid, there you can see othe…

I'll be blunt here... let's assume you have a look that is uniquely unattractive, and don't have a personality that draws people in. It's possible. In that case, your strategy may be to meet people sloooowly. Let them get to know you over time, and they can fall in love with your qualities that way. Is there a hobby that your are passionate about. Get involved in that community. Also... there are fun wild people who need a stable confident quiet partner who let's them be the centre of attention.…

I have a low-energy friend too, average looking, dresses down, and also makes people feel special because she listens and uses quiet humour. But these 2 have very different personalities but are more attractive than their looks because of how they treat people. Below you say you are intelligent and confident. If you are that, plus a good listener, fun, take care of yourself, someone with find that adorable.

A buddy of mine knew he was ugly, often admitted it, but he got some really beautiful, nice women, because he made life fun. It was contagious. THAT you can control. With practice. I'll bet there is someone in your life who likes spending time with you. Transfer that way-of-being to others. It may take time, but can be done. If you want that. You may not.
