Nope. "Women only like bad boys", "Take a woman treat her like shit and she'll love you" etc. are just older than you think

How did you meet your partner? How did you two connect?

There's tons of possible reasons: maybe she's insecure as well of herself, or he has some other qualities we don't know about, or she just doesn't care. Maybe he changed now and when they met he was a different person. People are complicated. Case in point because you said an insecure personality is a pain to handle unless maybe you are already invested in that person.

It is a very simplistic way of saying that, I agree. I actually grew to dislike them because their insecurity became exhausting to handle Case in point

I do not have problems with dating or relationships, but I definitely do not have the interest of a sizable proportion of women And probably you too are not interested into another sizable portion of women, that don't fit your standards, that's normal

Yes, of course there's no algorithm for finding a partner, whether ONS or LTR, and for a good reason. What I'm saying is also based solely on my experience and that of my peers, I'm nor a psychologist nor an expert in dating. Not being obsessed by finding a partner is healthy in and by itself; the point of cultivating a personality (whatever that means for different individuals) is that you focus on your well being as an independent, healthy adult, who wants to interact with other independent, h…

You can't be attractive to everyone and shouldn't even think of it, but you can cultivate a personality you like and build up from that. The fact not everyone likes the same things means it's actually easier to find somebody who may be interested in you. I know it sounds like self-help BS but many of these people look like they just loathe themselves. How can you expect to be attractive to someone else in any way if you are that insecure?

You don't have to cultivate a personality that attracts everyone

Tomorrow you could start acting like the coolest or funniest or most well-liked guy at your school I think that's the main misunderstanding when talking about "changing your personality" (the second one being becoming the typical nice guy); not only it's really hard, but even if you pull it through you may end up attracting people you don't actually like. I, for example, would never fake being an extrovert party man because it would attract only other extrovert party people. The point, that I ag…

If you only date gold diggers, narcissists and shallow people it's your problem, I suggest you should get some time all by yourself.

Openly discussing about past experiences and relationships - including cheating - can be helpful in understanding each other if both of you are willing to discuss openly. If you ask your SO about their bodycount and then extrapolate cheating behavior it's not an open and honest discussion to begin with. People cheating and people having sex aren't as related as you may think.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
