Fearlessness. Not courage; courage implies overcoming fear. Fearlessness implies a complete lack of fear. Competence. The ability to accomplish things, any things. The aura of one who changes his own oil and does home improvement projects rather than hiring someone else. Appearance. Hit the gym. Helps everything else, too.

If he weren't so dear to me, it'd be zero at a time, not one.

My best and oldest friend likes to 'claim' all my prospects. I tell him he's permitted one claim at a time.

I can't figure that one out myself. Maybe /r/seduction thinks we have to have a "game" for every interaction, and it's not gamey enough.

Don't knock Detroit until you've left, else it'll knock you right back.

Tell her you forgot her name, how about that.

I heard it didn't make you paranoid. I'd recommend toning it down a bit. It really would make the whole "getting women" thing easier.

Only if you complimented everyone's earrings.

I only drink coffee at midnight, when the moment is not right. My timing is quite... unusual.

That's not how you do it, but Facebook is an excellent tool for getting what you're after.

letting anyone see what I do will lead to them automatically knowing about the illegal thing that I do. Do you do anything that doesn't involve marijuana?

I've spent my entire life insulating everything I do from everyone because that is how the legal system in this country has taught me to live. Is "everything you do" really illegal or taboo? You might consider additional hobbies. I understand the appeal of being a rebel as well as the independent appeal of some illegal activities, but there is still a world full of legal and kosher pastimes.

Take full advantage of it. Don't sit in the back; try to say the most lines in front of everyone you possibly can. Intro acting classes are a little different, but you can still get comfortable "performing" in front of people.

Yeah... it's s'pozed to be inspirational but it's certainly not for everyone. There's some Disturbed that's all "fuck yeah I'm cool" but I can't think of which songs off the top of my head.

Screw seduction and pickup literature. It's a starting point, but the fact of the matter is that the best of it is still misogynistic. Unfortunately, I can't think of anything other than pickup literature or perhaps Nietzsche and heavily-salted Ayn Rand to inspire that sort of self-improving behavior. Hm. Listen to this a lot. "Wake up the king in yourself," as it were.

The single biggest advantage I have is acting and public speaking. Church and school plays, drama and community theater in high school, and getting in front of the class and telling the professor he was wrong in college worked together to kill my fear of the audience. That said, I'm a programmer, and a geek and introvert at heart, so I still understand where you're coming from, and I still get that mild electric shock of anxiety before approaching sometimes. Therefore, I do feel qualified to giv…

You care about them as fellow humans and are afraid of harming them by virtue of your awkwardness. Thing is, even if you're awkward, it doesn't hurt 'em. It makes 'em happy.

The trick is not to "fake it" at all, but to "make it" preemptively - to realize that you have value to yourself, your boss, and the women you're approaching - and to act accordingly. The stuff about bagging ten women a month, bragging about Casanova-style conquests and manipulation, taking advantage or lying about your income - screw that and that part of the "pick-up" community. The real trick is to steal their techniques and the research they're doing and put it to good use to become the best…

Complement something about the attire of the next ten strangers you see. I find earrings fascinating and complement interesting earrings often, but you can do the same with shirts, scarves, hats, or bicycles. Do so honestly; don't compliment something that looks bad, but if you really do like her earrings or his hat, say so. Practice this for a while. Tell me how many people are upset. When you approach a woman, you're saying "I find you appealing enough that I am overcoming my social anxiety an…

I told the entire story a long time ago over on the L&R board of the Anandtech forums, before I joined Reddit. Long story short, I thought the two of them were done. She was a former coworker of mine and had been seeing another coworker who'd been promoted over me, resulting in my decision to leave that job (he was later fired for incompetence). I was attempting to weaponize my sexuality, yes, but against this former coworker, not her BF. I have formally apologized to him in person, but there's …

Kaiser is more alpha than King. So is Emperor, so is Czar, so is Imperator, and so is Caesar. I make my friends call me all those things: "Emperor Czar Imperator Kaiser Caesar Presidentender, how do you get so many chicks?"

I don't kiss on the first date, which (I hope) leaves them wondering why I didn't. Other touching is needful to avoid sending the impression that I am completely uninterested.
