Given that the subjects in the research were specifically Greek Life-affiliated college students with spillover effects on non-affiliated students factored in subsequently,it is ridiculous to pretend that the results can be assumed to be consistently applicable on society in totality. The subsection of the population that makes up the pool of subjects inherently is going to have significant impacts on the results. Or do you think that the dating and sexual dynamics observed within the demographi…

It’s a unique form of torture to be raised to believe that you will be treated as a full person and maybe even find love only to realize that most men just want to use you as a set of holes to get them off.

I've been reading some of your post and comment history and I saw you mention you're from India, though not living there now iirc. I've heard that the dating and relationship dynamics and norms vary greatly depending on the location within the country. If you don't mind me asking, what would the typical dating life be for an average person there? What similarities and differences are there when comparing the dynamics between men and women in India versus Western countries Thank you in advance if…

Men also wear wedding rings. The gendered tradition here is much more so regarding who proposes to whom rather than merely the ring itself. Before someone brings up the disparate value of the rings for women and men, that's due to men preferring plain metal bands over ornate gemstones. I feel like I probably used the word whom incorrectly. Is it "whom proposes to who" or "who proposes to whom" or "whom proposes to whom" or what? 🤔

What? No, not all casual compliments are flirting. I compliment people of both sexes who I am not at all attracted to frequently. My intention is just to be nice.

I mean, the assumption is likely informed by the numerous posts and comments made by men discussing how they never get compliments, so it seems reasonable to conclude they are not receiving compliments from both their own and the opposite sex.

Yes, both can absolutely be true simultaneously, as within the overarching group referred to, men, there are likely a subset who tend to mistakenly interpret compliments as flirting, while another subset tend to be oblivious to actual flirting.

You expressed this incredibly well. It is very apparent when a person is intentionally being incendiary and abrasive as opposed to simply stating their thoughts. Your comparison in the penultimate paragraph is excellent by the way.

You are regurgitating straight up Jordan Peterson rhetoric while adding no insight of your own to it. You even use identical nomenclature. I’m not saying his lectures aren’t useful or anything. It is fascinating how hugely impactful he’s clearly been on so many people, particularly men. Edit to add: just saw your comment where you say that, “reciting talking points isn’t intelligent” lol ironic

And he then went on to meet his second wife and now has eight kids.
/r/PurplePillDebate04/03/22 10:12 PM

Wow, it’s incredible that the man from your second link is deformed to such an extent yet he’s found a genuine relationship with his second wife, Kate, and they have eight kids. I hope their family is doing really well. Assuming it’s as represented in the link, that makes for good evidence against the black pill tbh.

Maslow’s hierarchy’s approach to sex is seriously flawed He used studying primates to conceptualize the base needs and observed their sexual behavior stating, “the screwing…went on all the time” (elipsis reflects original text) and asserted that the primate sexual behavior was nearly the same as human sexual behavior. After the primate studies, he used qualitative interviewing with cherry-picked female Protestant white college-educated subjects who had satisfactory levels of what Maslow initiall…

Wow, the butcher would save so much time on most of this sub’s users, since so many already seem to have their heads up theirs to start with. 😉

I don’t understand why guys like that are even on here. It really sucks how much they seem to hate us. I get that he probably is more hurt than anything but I hope he is able to get past the mentality that all women lack a sense of pride, honor, and justice.

Trivializing what violence actually means isn’t a good idea. Being beaten is violent. Being sexually assaulted is violent. Being ignored is not violent.

Thank you for writing this out. It’s worded really well. I get the frustration and pain behind sentiments like those expressed in the post, but for the majority of people it simply isn’t tenable as a worldview.

This works for when they make racist/misogynist/etc jokes or comments too. Just pretend not to understand what they are implying and ask them to elaborate lol

So true. Their mentality is gross. Earlier today I was talking to a man and I mentioned my late best friend who committed suicide. He said he doesn’t believe it is ever an option and I said I disagreed. This gentleman responded by telling me he’d be really upset if I killed myself.........because then he’d never get to see what I’m like in bed. 🤦🏻‍♀️😾

Just wanted to say I wish you and your kid all the best and I really admire your strength. It’s so hard to extricate yourself from relationships once your lives are intertwined like that and I’m so glad that we live in a time where we have way more agency as women. Good luck with everything! 💛

My boyfriend has shown me his favorite videos. He has unusual tastes in porn compared to most guys. Porn doesn't exactly turn me on, like I can't masturbate to it, but I enjoy knowing what he is into because it helps me enhance our sex life. I've sent him links to pics I think he'd like. I have an idea of what his ideal woman looks like but I'm not exactly sure. I'd be okay with him telling me that, though.

Agreed. I'm an attractive young girl. If I leave my apartment, I get hit on, guaranteed. I can be simply buying apples at a grocery store and get hit on-totally normal life shit. If you are an attractive woman, you will get hit on. It just is how it is.

Well I guess I'm probably a bit younger than the girls you are banging, I can't even legally drink yet. I bang middle aged guys though. I like to be choked, hit, degraded, all that. I think it's part of being submissive. Our pleasure doesn't matter, all that matters is pleasing our partner and getting him off.

I actually do like anal and have asked for it with past partners. The way he likes it is (in his words) less about the sensation it gives him and more about escalating the pain it causes me.

I'm a girl. I'm with a guy who likes to force his dick in my ass and fuck me really hard. It hurts like hell but I let him do it because he likes it.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
