Oddly enough, Microsoft's hardware arm, while still small compared to it's software and service arms, is growing like crazy.

Ah, no. There was a selective service act of 1917 and 2.8 million American men were drafted into that war. However, the prior commenter is also wrong. Men had the vote long before conscription was introduced.

She's decided. She just doesn't know it yet.

My dad used to say that if men gave birth no one else would even know it hurts because no man would be sissy enough to complain about it.

The judge gave her a slap on the wrist because he didn't want to hurt her chances of becoming a surgeon! How would you like to know that your surgeon stabs people?

Well. There are two kinds of good Samaritan law: there's the original kind designed to protect good Samaritans from being sued and then there is the kind invented in the 90s that require people to help others in need. I agree with the original kind, not the overbearing kind that came later.

She clearly liked him. He equally clearly only tolerated her. He never changed one thing about himself for her and was equally happy with himself whether she was there or not. Isn't that the brass ring of MGTOW?

If you only know how to live with someone telling you what to do, you might consider joining the military. They take care of that for sure.

Outwardly MGTOW and incel might look the same but are they not very different in their hearts? Incels desperately wish for a relationship while MGTOW desperately wishes to avoid one.

No need to get all pissy about it. I'm on your side on this one. The GP said the law said "woman" and I asked if that's really how the law reads. There's no particular reason it couldn't until someone challenges it in court.

Maybe as a food source on a long distance, nuclear-powered space mission? Not sure how one would safely harvest it, though.

There is some truth to this. The definition of sexual harassment is unwanted sexual advances. I'm not aware of any other situation in which the state of mind of the victim rather than the perpetrator determines the legal consequences of the action. On the flip side, I am so very tired of being hit on in inappropriate settings. To be clear, I woudn't consider "Lookin' good," being hit on unless it was accompanied by inappropriate gestures, invading my space, or followed by something more explicit…

I'm afraid it doesn't work like that. Because gamma radiation is very penetrating, the only way to stop it is to place lots of material (mass) between the radioactive source and the thing you want shielded (you). Lead works well because it is dense. You would need a much thicker layer of radiotrophic fungus than you would lead. How much thicker? Basically it would need to be thick enough to weigh the same. And that wouldn't work anyways, because the outer layers of fungus would starve--they need…

Who are these women? I don't think Marylin Monroe has ever come up in conversations with my girlfriends. Guys bring her up sometimes.

The mold uses gamma radiation for a form of photosynthesis called radiosynthesis. It doesn't stop radioactive materials from being radioactive.
