To answer your question more plainly: yes I think many women in that situation would be sad, others wouldn't, much like men. And I think that people in that situation can find happiness without having sex or being desired. Apols for misinterpreting your post, I thought you were suggesting getting incels laid as a practical solution lmao. I guess yeh having sex would 'solve' inceldom as they would no longer be celibate! But there are still underlying problems around misogyny there.

I'm so sorry you're going through this, no one deserves to be treated that way. The upside is that when you leave, everything will be so much better for you. It doesn't sound like you're able to rely on him for practical, financial or emotional support, so obviously it will be sad to leave him but realistically your life is only going to change for the better.
