Generally speaking men's goal in life is to get the best job they can (so they can have the most money, status, etc...) and women's goal is to get the best man they can. I just don't think that's true at all. I don't think that was ever true. I think it's true for SOME people, but it's certainly not true for everyone. What about people in pure research that just love doing research or academic work? That's not the "best" job, which I guess in terms of status and money would be CEO or actor or so…

I think the real question here is, what is "better"? Also, a relationship is not a job - they're fundamentally not the same thing. Metaphors only work as a rough model, they're not reality. You say "most" women will cheat if something better comes along, but if you look at the statistics, cheating is about evenly split between the sexes, which implies it's a human thing not anything particular to one sex. "Just because she may appear to be different on the surface, doesn't mean that she actually…

I know I'll probably get downvoted to hell, but you guys just need to meet different girls. "While women may look pretty, they have nothing significant to offer other than a few fuckable holes." is just a ridiculous load of horseshit. You can't be serious. My wife is into photography, cooking, runs a blog, has her masters from a top university where she graduated top of her class, works for a luxury car company doing human interface design and leading machine learning development. Her friends ar…

Maybe it was a joke - she did have an obvious nametag dangling, and it was meant as a sarcastic response - or maybe you just come off as creepy and she didn't want to give you her name because she was an employee and doesn't want to be pestered.

NP. You really need to think about where you both are at, and if it's really right. Nothing wrong with walking if it's not, but if you're both really, really done fucking around and are really really honest and open and you're both really cool with that, then there's nothing wrong with giving it a shot either. Age and place in life is worth considering as factors in this, of course.

Awww...someone's sulking. It's cool. We'll all still be here when you stop crying.

Honestly, a big part of it was that we both didn't really need each other - we understand only you can make yourself happy, someone else can't fix you. She's independent and successful herself. She's also incredibly honest and loyal and trustworthy. I think the biggest thing is understanding that it's a partnership, that you're in it together. Someone is down, the other person takes the weight for a bit. Not being selfish, I guess. Being trusting and understanding. And being honest and communica…

Hahah, I was waiting for this. Yes, that's what I'm telling you. I didn't stay with her because I couldn't get anything else - I've told her I don't need her, many times. I'm a successful dude who stays in shape and has a big dick. I know I'm a good catch, and I'm funny as hell to boot. That doesn't mean I'm cynical or that I treat people poorly or that I have problems trusting. Generalising and basing your life around anecdotes is not the right way to live, bruv.

It's not RP advice, but here's my story, after being with the same girl for 8 years, 2 years married. She did her masters in another country while I continued working, and when she finished, we got married and I moved over there. Couldn't be happier, still both in love. So, depends on the relationship, and don't let cynics get the best of you. Long distance was sort of tough, but not crazy tough, as there was an end goal in mind (that we'd get married after the masters finished), I was able to w…

Dude isn't a gangster, he's just a musician, and here, with the help of an orchestra and a cool conductor, is able to play a fun song that makes people dance. Key here is not the color, but the music. Play fun party hits, people dance. You clearly care about color, so if you want to see a white man get ladies dancing and feel less threatened, watch a Girl Talk show. Girl Talk can make anyone dance.

You sound like someone that has never been to a concert and let loose dancing. You know what you get out of it? Fun. People have been dancing to music since someone banged a couple of rocks together. Because it's kind of awesome.

"Baby Got Back" is part of North American culture, period. It was number one for five weeks. It's a very popular, well known song, being played at an orchestral series dedicated to orchestral interpretations and celebrations of pop songs. The conductor, Gabriel Profokiev is a classically trained composer and conductor (and grandson of Sergei Profokiev) who spent a lot of time producing pop, electronica, and garage. He likes this kind of thing. Race has nothing to do with it, unless you're racist…

The symphony, for 10 tickets in the best seats available (the Founders Tier Box), costs about 100 dollars for a seat. There are cheaper tickets available. Hardly an, "upper class affair." The perception of classical music as upper class indicates someone who has no real contact with music. Never mind that this is a special series dedicated to popular music, Sonic Evolution, hence the hip hop. This is an orchestral arrangement of Baby Got Back featuring Sir Mix a Lot. Looks like a really fun time…
