Meh I have 2 uni degrees (from top 20 world ranked) in stem. You describe some people but I have met plenty of 'educated' people are nothing special - some have masters and phd's. Only after finishing my degrees did I realize that being 'educated and smart are not that closely related. They may be somewhat correlated but no more than that.

Mostly yes. Personally, I have enjoyed the intimacy with a women in my past, so it definitely is partly the emotional connection. Though as I get older that emotional appeal to women has waned in tandem with the decline in my libido, so maybe the intimacy aspect is more entwined with sex than I would like to admit.

I think it depends on the individual. This is dangerous advice to someone with a predisposition for addiction. 'Dealing with it afterwards' is not a good option unless you are lucky enough to be able to avoid addiction and prevent yourself from falling even farther. I began reading MGTOW ideas when I was 28 and started focusing on myself. Only recently, at 30 years old, have I truly internalized it and become content with being single and enjoying following my own path. I struggled to get past the first scene where she is playing while high and drunk. I looked her up to see if this actually occurred since an top chess player playing while inebriated is unheard of. A quick search later, I found she is fictional. It took me right out of the story. In absolute terms, yes. Not by percentage. If one person makes $1 million and pays $100 000 in taxes, it is only 10% tax. Another person makes $50 000 and pays $10 000, it's a 20% tax. So no, rich men and women do not pay their fair share (especially Trump - paid no tax in 10 of last 15 years)

Some of my friends did end up moving abroad for jobs and I naturally grew apart from a few that stayed in the city. I believe its the natural course of life for most 'friends' to eventually diverge away from one another. I have learnt to enjoy spending time with my friends, but I invest much less than I used to into friendships. I really relate to this post.
