Don't ask over text. Ask while you're having a good time and looking her in the eye.

It's one of two things: You're either pushing the envelope way further and ignoring signs to back off, or you're unattractive.

Your brother is right, you should feel the girl up before making your decision. Alright, now that I got the joke out of the way -- It's the end of the school year. She won't be in high school much longer. And a 22 year old with an 18 year old? Who cares? You're way over thinking it. If you were in your 30s I'd say she's too young for you. You're 22. For the next few years your dating pool consists of any woman who is an adult. Enjoy it, date 18 year olds.

There are several keys to looking like you have confidence. Friendly demeanor and good posture are two. A seemingly casual attitude is good as well, as it makes it look like you're not trying too hard. Are you in good shape? You don't have to be a bodybuilder, but part of being 'well groomed' is your general physical appearance. Taking care of the inside of your body is just as important as taking care of the external pieces. Do you have a weird smell about you? Do you make entirely inappropriat…

Cool, good to know. I'll grant that I tend towards lean proteins, so I fill up pretty quick. I don't really want to do keto, it was more of a curiosity.

I see things like this and it makes me wonder how in the world you go on keto and keep up the calories you used to eat. I spew a lot of hateful shit, but this is a genuine question. I lost a lot of weight. I went from being a verified fat ass to currently having a BMI that hovers between 23.5 and 24. I calorie tracked and moved a lot more, putting myself in a deficit. I found the easiest way to do that for myself was something akin to paleo while watching my macros closely. Once I got the ball r…

When they are ready they will find the light kind of attitude. If they are ever ready. There will always be poor betas.

That's kind of what I'm seeing. I understand expending excess energy for a whole lot of really great reasons. Arguing with a moron is not one of those, and just becomes an exercise in futility.

Our bodies are made in the kitchen, our muscles are made in the gym. Exercise is very important, but it's not going to make or break weight loss. I lost a lot of weight just making sure I was moving enough (a fitbit helped a lot there) and eating less than the calories I needed each day while still making sure I hit my macros. Once I got all the weight off and got to a normal sized, healthy weight I started lifting (the lifting is fairly recent, and no discernible viable change yet, but I know i…

You're in your twenties. There's nothing special about a guy being a virgin unless you're very pointedly waiting until you're married. If you end up in a serious multi-year relationship, you can eventually tell her. Otherwise just leave it because it's not important.

I have the career with a good paying wage. I'm working on the second. Why not both?

It's a defense mechanism. AWALT. Story time from years ago (not relevant but reminded me of something funny): I dated a girl on and off for a while. She eventually married another guy, pretty nice guy but a bit weird. We ended up at a party together and she had too much to drink and her husband wasn't paying any attention. She whispered to me that we should go somewhere quiet and catch up, but i was enjoying myself so i didn't go. She got louder and louder, due to the alcohol. Eventually she was …

Yep. I hate the current no carb bandwagon. Carbs aren't bad. There are carbs in veggies. Carbs are just easy to process into shit food like white bread and sugar filled hamburger buns.

Because I like to have a beer, and I enjoy people watching on occasion. Sometimes I even take my customers to have a beer which means I do make money while I do that sometimes. I'm not claiming to be full on monk mode, or claiming to be an authority. I just do what works for me and share my opinion and experiences. You're welcome to call cop out if you like. That's the beautiful thing about the truth. Whether you believe it or not, it doesn't change.

Hey man, some of us aren't having sex because we're working on ourselves before we start getting into any mess that includes women.

Meh, if she comes back a second time then it was good enough and means she's getting what she wants out of it.

There's a lot of shitty advice around, but no one forces you to hear only what you want to hear. You know what worked for humans before fast food and potato chips? Moving around and eating normal portions of normal foods that aren't filled with to the brim with processed sugars. No one makes anyone buy magic weight loss pills. No one forces you to starve. Hell, REPUTABLE sources (such as the Mayo Clinic) say not to cut your calories by more than about 1k per week less than maintenance because yo…

I'm an ex-fattie. No one hates fat people quite like I do. I dieted and cardio'd it off (normal sized now, yay!), and in the last few months have started a serious workout routine. I get nice haircuts, grew a well maintained beard, and generally just take good care of me all the way around. I'm looking and feeling better than I ever did. I don't hit on women because the last few I was with wrecked me. I have a bad taste in my mouth, and I'm working on being the best me that I can be and will dea…

If you have a basal metabolic rate of 600 calories a day you've done something awful to yourself to begin with. Still makes it their fault.

It would have to be seriously micro or hideously deformed where half had been cut off (or smell really bad I guess, but she didn't mention that) to back out once the pants come off.

Since this isn't FPH or FatLogic I'll keep most of my comments to myself. All I'll say is that it goes beyond the hamster, and having a doctor say it is due to "conditions" infuriates me.

This is hypocrisy. She has more control over her weight than he does over his penis size. HOWEVER, I'd bet she's just talking shit about the guy because he pumped and dumped her. She went home with him. Unless it was inverted, he got his and she's bitter, so she tells a made up story.

Complacency is the fucking devil. I nearly spent the evening doing exactly what you're talking about. Instead, I went for a run. Barely caught myself because is easy and I have a lot of entertainment to chose from.

It's not just young black men that are stubborn. That's the trait of a young man, period. A young man trying to find his way in the world. Part of the problem comes from those around him. While he will not listen to advice and tries to buck against cultural norms, he also longs to be a part of something. So he emulates the other young men around him. If the others around him aren't going to college or bettering themselves, why should he? Just because some guy says it's good to be educated? I say…

Agreed, but that includes an easy out to anything. people could easily (and do) start going to fast food restaurants because it's an 'easy out'. Porn is another example where someone can take a fast and easy out instead of putting forth the effort necessary. As long as it is put in perspective as a rare treat (sex without doing the work to get it) it shouldn't be a big deal. Those who come here need to understand the discipline necessary to maintain the lifestyle. When you're paying for prostitu…

There was a good explanation of AWALT that basically stated that they don't have to all be like that and it doesn't have to be black and white for it to work because it's close enough for government work.
