Did not you say you have 2 kids? They are forever yours.

I do not think he said that he is divorced.

Taking time off work was a mutual decision when the couple is together. It has nothing to do with the divorce.

If you feel bad and thinking of "how to make it right," then give her whatever money you wish. However, it should not give the government an option to take money from one person and give it the other person.

I would recommend for you to formalize that arrangement, since things may change quickly, and if this "whenever I want" is not on the paper, it may become a big issue.

This is very simple! Finish with the divorce but on your terms. Make her sign what is in your interests, and keep living with her as a husband and wife. If things will happen again, you will be at a better situation compared to where you are now. If things will work out, then good for you! I do not get the whole "legal marriage" thing thes days. Your wife messed up, so she needs to lose the legal protection if she wants to reconcile, and it is up to you if you are still interested.

Wow! Mine also has this relative apathy, and she is empty inside. I never really looked at mine for who she is and built an image of her in my head that I still value. Mine ended up carried away into schizophrenia, so who knows what the future of your is going to be.

You are so lucky! Imagine what she would have been with you postpartum?!

It may be better to not drink at all.

This is somewhat like being multilingual, or being a kid and learning how not to curse at home but use the words with friends. This is normal, and the brains are built for that well.

Why did you love the house? It seems that she is the one that was supposed to leave. Come back home and stay with your kids. They need you more than they need her.

If you cannot beat them -- join them. But seriously, all of this was horrible, and it is still ongoing.

Mine was when I received a call from my wife's therapist stating that my wife thinks that I am a Russian spy, and she has a plan to poison and kill me. They said that either I take her to a hospital , or they will send police. They ended up sending police with 5 cruisers arriving at my driveway. It all went downhill from there. One day I will write a book or a PhD dissertation on all of that.

This is called avolition. Mine had it along with schizophrenia. What should you do? TAKE THE KIDS AND RUN!

Goodness! She is making plenty of money! Direct any saving to seeing your kids more. With your worry about their support, why will not you open a saving account and deposit the newly saved cash, so it will become available to the kids later in their lives?

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
