Warren Farrell. He's a good author. He could teach you more about the MRM. Edit: Or look him up on youtube; he has some good talks on there.

Was that subreddit shut down?

I'd assume he/she likes to think of it as reddit in general being evil = men's right = everything he/she hates. It doesn't make sense to me either.

It links to this in r/mensrights. I was then banned for the comments I made there.

No, I'm saying that it was changed within the last year or so to include males. This was for rape though. I'd expect age of consent to include males.

US law has changed I believe.

Don't stop at this subreddit. Read books such as The Myth of Male Power by Warren Farrell.

I'm going to write them a letter. I haven't done something like that in awhile. I feel better writing a letter instead of sending an email, or even worse, submitting something from a drop down menu and a comment on their website. I feel that it will just get lost with everything else they receive. At least a letter is physical and someone at google will surely open it, even if it lands in the garbage 20 seconds after that. Thank you for the link.

Warren Farrell stands up for men's rights and women's rights. I can't believe his visit would entice protestors.

Reading the SRS bullshit on this really makes me upset. I have to stop doing that.

Wait a minute, let's not demonize ALL women. I'm assuming by this: I have to say, women of my generation are far to violent to even want to know that you meant "I have to say, women of my generation are far too violent to even want to know them".

VA didn't even create r/creepshots and he didn't submit content there.

Probably never. Gawker doesn't care. It's all about the $$$

I should've clarified. I meant sick as in referring to the double standard. Even if it was in front of an audience with a man and a girl, there would be a major controversy. Not so with a little boy. They'd just high 5 him instead.

No, actually you cannot. I tried to look it up in the criminal code, but I can't seem to find it at the moment. Children under 12 cannot be charged with any crime in Canada.

Are you female? Afraid of something? Canadians are pretty similar to Americans... I don't think you know any Americans.

How does using the word 'faggot' as derogatory equate to the same idea of claiming that 13 year old girls can consent to sex? The last one is a fucking opinion.

I think it's sick. Sick in the negative context.

It won't always. I've lived with people of the opposite sex as roommates, and I know many people that do without a problem. It shouldn't be a problem at all, actually. There's only a few people that DO make it a problem.

OP, have you ever read books by Warren Farrell? Specifically "The Myth of Male Power"? I'd suggest it for a more in-depth look. You may enjoy it.

You're forgetting the possibility of the batshit crazy woman being a lying thief as well. Same goes for a man then. Moral of the story: don't live with anyone unless you know them, or treat both sexes as equals.

But then by that reasoning it's reasonable to be cautious around females they've never met as well.

From what I've noticed, people tend to room with those of their same sex. Not here in Canada. Especially mature people.

What about a random woman? Some women are batshit crazy too.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
