Let's say you have 400k in retirement You could split it 200/200 What you won't (likely) be able to do is give 400k so you can keep the 400 k in cash/equity

When she started arguing with the second therapist and it triggered my nervous system about her arguing with the first therapist . Most of our sessions became an individual therapy session and I just sat there. It became clear she couldnt see her own actions.

I was in similar boat. I quit my job during COVID with 2 under 4 years old. She worked and got promotions. She asked for separation since 2024. It was clear I wasn't going to get a healthy relationship but I thought it was better for the kids we stayed together. Your kids are going to assume this situation is normal and their future relationship may start to mirror it. Its time to leave or be prepared to talk to them about it and find a good therapist for everyone involved.
