How would that make a potential partner feel, though? I can't imagine someone would feel very valued to know that they would only be a partner not because you saw something special you liked in them, but because nobody else was available. A few things I notice from your post: Having your own place isn't required when dating, though you're right, it's a bit more attractive to not have roommates due to privacy (that can be eased through talking to roommates and getting the occasional planned night…

The valid risks of coming out in a workplace don't negate the fact that they still might be dealing with those cramps and entitled to that leave (and, like you mention, scared to claim them because of a need to out themselves)

I’m surprised this concern hasn’t been raised: I sure hope that legislation is trans-friendly and considers dudes with period cramps as well.
