I think that's the default stand point that most women have, and if it's not, then the ones that's don't are being very quiet about it, and what's good for the goose is good for the gander.

That's woefully underplaying what happens if you get an AWALT. If your metric for loaded gun is dying from being shot, then surely your metric for AWALT should be something like https://www.reuters.com/article/us-north-carolina-crime/north-carolina-mother-kills-two-children-jumps-off-bridge-idUSKBN1F42OX

I don't begrudge him for trying to sell the tech in the first place, but I'm sure as hell not going to buy his "conversion" to the belief that it's now a problem. Either he's realised there's more money selling this new opinion or he's hedging his bets to avoid being first up against the wall if a revolution shows up.

It has plenty to do with morality. If I say that any cat will be happy to be fed by anybody with tuna, nobody will bat an eyelid. If I say I think any girl would branch swing to a billionaire, then somehow I'm a woman hater, but that's only because people are putting morality in the second statement that they're not doing to the first.
/r/MGTOW10/12/17 05:26 PM
7

There's plenty of discussion here that doesn't involve tearing down women. At the same time, I think you're bringing morality where they isn't. i.e. I have a cat, he'll readily take tuna or chicken from strangers, he doesn't only eat from bowls I put out for him and if somebody else fed him better, it's entirely possible he might spend more time at somebody else's house. I'd be pretty upset about it, but the cat isn't evil or disloyal or any other terms I could apply to him. He's being a cat...

You're not throwing it away, if the woman is making the ultimatum, she's the one throwing what you have away if you don't give her half.

If you had a male best friend you've known for years ask you for legal rights to half your stuff or they'll stop talking to you. Do you give him rights to half?
/r/MGTOW18/11/17 07:17 PM

They don't avoid it, they just have enough that half is still lots. There's not a lack of examples of millionaires losing plenty. If you have a situation where half isn't plenty, then you get Robin Williams.

Nobody disputes that she signed it, and she signed a follow up later. You can have it proved as much as you want that she signed it, it doesn't matter. The court agreed that she signed it under pressure and therefore it wasn't valid.

If everyone did this, those jobs will pay shit. The reason why all the big tech companies are keen on everybody learning IT is to bring down their labour costs. Most trades pay well because millennials went into college, it brought down the salaries of the college-level jobs, as more young people shun college for trades, trades will average down too. It's impossible for the bulk majority of people to have a good living, because a good living is relative... Half of all people will always been bel…

Normally they take paid requests that range from a couple of dollars to a couple of high tens. Then there's video / photo sales, sales to subscribe to a NSFW snapchat of her life, and then lastly, most profitable, is subscriptions to a "club" of her adoring fans, which includes discounts on the sales, 1 on 1 Skype sessions, and generally treated better than the masses also in her channel. A degree is a ticket required to apply for certain types of jobs, and a CS degree is about more than programming. Without the degree, you'll obviously still be able to find work, since programming is generally quite meritocratic, but there'll be a segment of the job market you're locked out of. Note that just because you have a degree doesn't mean you'll get those jobs, most people don't, but not having a degree means you can't even apply. Your application will get binned by HR before anybody te…

If you're going something employable, it's worth sticking it out. As much as there'll be people who claim that you can just self-study anything, there's a ceiling on certain jobs if you don't have a degree. Some IT jobs are possibly an exception to this as some IT employers are more open minded, but even in IT, some places will toss your application automatically without a degree.

All big national or international businesses have to be women friendly. They make up the majority of spenders, even for "male" products. By definition, all businesses anybody has heard of will be women-centric, the ones that are not will be small/medium businesses unknown outside their local areas.

I want one of two things. Either, a SAHM, OR somebody that earns enough that we could get some domestic help without it being a significant part of our earnings. I find my work life quite stressful, I don't want to make my home life more difficult than it needs to be. Either achieves this.

East Asian men are indoctrinate to obey. Teachers, parents, police, the state. If you spent a decade of childhood in an education system where you get physically punished for questioning authority or society, you'd learn not to question it too.

This is always going to be a "problem" here. The majority of posts are always going to be large women centric. Why? Because it's the thing in common. MGTOWs, if they actually are GTOW, should have relatively little in common. One might have model trains as a hobby, another video games, a third babminton and tennis. There's no reason to any of them should be interested in other's thoughts on topics other than women, marriage, the law, etc. Also, as people do their own thing, they rely less and le…

Not that I would care to do it myself, but I have a friend who takes making money seriously enough that he's 30, making the equivalent of $100k Canadian, has bought a four bedroom house and are renting rooms to 3 other people. This already exists in the UK. Married couples get a tax break, and that's how any system like this would be sold. As a tax break for a couple rather than as an extra tax on the single. Also there's more tax breaks once you get children.

Why assuming it's not a salary? My experience: I'm 29 and make $135k last year. I spent it mostly on my mortgage, my debts relating to housing, my debts relating to an investment in a local restaurant, a large amount of computer equipment (hobby)

/r/MGTOW03/07/15 07:34 AM

So. That's an nice idea but not really what happens on TRP. If a guy goes to TRP and says that he's an a technician, then TRP will tell him to be an engineer. If the guy is an engineer, TRP will tell him to be a technical lead or manager. If the guy is happy being a technician, he'll be told that he's blue pill and needs to be in the top 20% to get slay pussy. TRP tells people to lift and earn money and status because of women. The "for yourself" is TRP's own version of hamstring.
/r/MGTOW01/07/15 04:04 PM

MGTOW and TRP are not complimentary. They are opposite. TRP advocates getting better at the game, MGTOW advocates not playing. TRP says get into the top 20%, lift, get money, get status. These are all things for pandering to women's wants. Imagine if people adopted TRP en mass... now you have shifted the average up so you need to lift even longer and earn even more whilst women still take the top 20%. In short form: Blue pill = pandering to what women say they want Red pill = pandering to what w…

Depending on how old you are, the idea that you can have a fairytale relationship is basically the same lie told to you about everything else when you were a child. We tell kids that they can be anything they want to be if they work hard. How many people from your graduating class do you know that are senators, billionaires, astronauts, or world class tennis players?
/r/MGTOW01/06/15 05:07 PM

If you don't have anything you feel you need to achieve. Nothing is a perfectly acceptable answer. I aspire to not having to work, being able to afford technology toys, and having plenty of time to play video games and watch TV. I'm 29 and hope to hit this by 55.
/r/MGTOW01/06/15 04:56 PM

So, you make some reasonable points. one thing I would note, the reason why the negative posts are here are because many of those points are what bind the MGTOW interest together. i.e. this is the place I come lest I forget why marriage 2.0 is a bad idea, etc. not the place I come to discuss video games or financial goals or whatever else I'm doing in my life.

TRP is gynocentric as a philosophy. What does TRP advocate? Self improvement. But self improvement in what sense? Lifting, making more money, getting more status. These are all goals set by gynocentrism at it's core. A big part MGTOW is learning to define your own goals, ideally not revolving around women. If you want to be the best Goat Simulator player in the world, we don't shame that. It's your call and if you're happy doing it. More power to you. The only real trap that MGTOW falls into a l…

If you're looking to understand MGTOW, I assume you have found the rest of the manosphere, and understanding MGTOW probably makes most sense in relation to the rest of the manosphere. Roughly, MRA are looking for changes in society and law to support men's interests in society that are overlooked, such as unfairness in family and criminal courts, paternity fraud, unbalanced expectations of men in society, lack of support for men's health and mental health, deficiency in boy's education, and as a…

It's useful to have words and terms to communicate ideas. Imagine if you lived in a dystopia you didn't have words like revolution or uprising, how would you communicate that you wanted to have one? MGTOW and being able to describes MGTOW allows ideas to spread beyond just the odd few individuals.

The only scenario I can imagine where a man would drop a woman due to being too nice is if somehow he thought she would be better off with someone else. That doesn't seem like the case here.

One of the unusual economic examples in Freakonomics did some analysis on data from an online dating site (they didn't disclose which one), but they found that whilst overwhelming numbers of women declared that they were race agnostic, an Asian man received around 25% of the number of messages as a white man did, after controlling for wealth, age, and all the other variables they had data on. Actually, I think yes. I have some projects going on and I think going through any kind of lifestyle transformation right now would be a distraction. I've been quite curious where I fit into RP categories. I think somewhere between beta and omega - this doesn't bother me too much, which I guess would make me more omega than beta. These are all the relevant facts I can think off the top of my head. I'm 28. I'm a big fan of video games. I do not lift, and don't really plan to. I wouldn't say I'm particularly ambitious, but my income increased from $30k/yr to over $100k/yr in my first four years of work (via 2 job changes in the same field), so …

(Caveat: I'm on the fence about red pill) I guess I am the completely opposite. I don't think I value education very highly at the moment. At one point I did, I quit a PhD programme two years in and haven't looked back. Since then, I'm not convinced that I've found anything particularly useful from my PhD programme, my masters, or my bachelors, and think I would have been better off getting out of the education system years earlier. I am curious about something. If you are otherwise in the invisible men, but you make good money. How much money would you have to make not to be invisible? I mean, it's clear that some guy with a billion dollars who is non-dominant, a midget, partially blind, and missing a leg would still get a wife if he wanted one. What's the cut off when you stop being invisible? And what category would someone like that fall into?

Purity in a man (in so far as that's a thing): Low relationship count, low sex partner count whilst being clearly desirable; free from emotional baggage and not jaded by past relationships (Caveat: I don't think I'm very RP, but that's my 2 cents)

Agreed. But why would such a man be a better catch than, for example, some non-RPer that focused on their career from outset? There would seem to be not a lack of non-RP males around who would fit high value male by material or intellectual/academic measures. Does belief in RP itself confer higher value? And if so, how does it stack up compared to say, a high income or a doctorate or a high social standing job (doctor/lawyer/etc) or just a general belief in traditional gender roles without a RP …

I'm very new to all this and I'd have to admit that I'm not well versed in TRP/RPW, I've just been lurking in both recently, but it's not entirely clear to me why OP (or RPW/aspiring RPW in general) would prefer RP males over any other types of males. It would seem to be that if a male buys into abundance mentality and believes in AFBB/female hypergamy, they would be harder to convince into a LTR and harder to keep in an LTR. I appreciate that women (RP or otherwise) would want high value males …
